Description of Work: Painted entire exterior of the home, including all trim. In gaining access to a high exterior wall, they had to get on the clay tile roof and in doing so they broke a tile. They called it to our attention, and had a roofer come out and replace the tile. Very professional. Would definitely use again!

Description of Work: I called Walter after I saw his Angie's List offer of an exterior stucco paint job for $2500 and checking his references. He returned my call promptly, set up an appointment for the following day and arrived on time for his appointment. He checked my house, noting the extensive peeling wood trim and difficulty of accessing upper wall areas over an Alumawood patio roof that could not be stepped on. He offered to do the job for $2650, and I agreed providing that it would be completed within 2 1/2 weeks to accommodate my neighbor who is extremely allergic to paint and was away during that time. He agreed, and called me within about 10 days and scheduled the prep work for the next day. | |The workers arrived as scheduled, washed the house and sealed most of the windows. Walter noted my stained and splotchy cement patio and offered to seal and paint it for and additional $500. I hadn't considered having the patio redone, but agreed. The prep work was done in about 4 hours. The next day the workers arrived at 7, sealed the rest of the windows and doors, and finished painting the house by about 2. The only downside was that they were unable to access the 4 small windows directly above the patio roof in order to seal them, so that while the rest of the wall above the patio roof was painted with long brushes, the area immediately around the windows went unpainted. Since the house was being painted the same color as before, the area isn't noticeable. After removing the plastic over the windows and doors, the workers sealed and stained the patio and were done by about 5. The next day Walter returned for a touch-up on the patio which took 1/2 hour. I was pleased by the work, the price and the courtesy of all the workers.

Description of Work: The provider arrived at an agreed upon time to review the work to be done. My house was larger than the specified deal and there was some re-stuccoing that needed to be done so the price was more. I agreed to the increase in price. The paint job was beautifully executed. The painters were meticulous in their work. There was one area of concern to me so they came back and repainted that area. The finished job looks great

Description of Work: Painted 3100 Sq. Ft., two-story stucco house (Three colors: body, popouts, fascia) plus interior of block wall surrounding back yard. Repaired and resurfaced pool deck. Excellent prep work, excellent job all around. I got six bids and Sunguard's was the lowest. I was somewhat concerned that this might imply poorer quality but my fears proved groundless. After the job I found a couple of (very) minor discrepancies that they quickly took care of. The job included premium quality (Dunn Edwards Evershield) paint. I unreservedly recommend this company for exterior house painting.

Description of Work: They scrapped, repaired (for the most part) and painted the exterior of my house. Nice lead guys who sell the job, the main one being a bit pushy and overbearing with a bit of BS thrown in. The job, however, was done in 1 1/2 days. Very neat, very fast. The prep work wasn't 100% thorough but it really was very good.

Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal offer for $199 to get garage doors (we have 3 car garage) painted. Deal included approximately 8 hour job labor. Materials (primarily paints) were not included. Scheduled the appointment without an issue. The representative insisted that they purchase the paint as it was cheaper due to professional discount. Eventually a side molding with 2 gallons of paint and materials were provided for $250. I called Dunn-Edwards later and was told that the exact paint was available for $39.99 for the general public. Plus the color that was used did not match the color we picked. The rep emphasized that the color we picked was exactly what we showed so I must be color blind because they still don't match. My wife must be color blind as well. Then he blamed the paint company. He said let it cure for a month. 2 months later still not the right color. So where was the "Big Deal"? $449 for 2 garage doors! I could have paid a local painter for less and still get a better service. "Big Disappointment"

Description of Work: They removed old, peeling paint from block walls, cleaned and repaired house trim and then painted the block walls, house trim and front of house. My only negative is that I said that I wanted to use my credit card and it does show on their website that they accept credit cards. I was told, the day before the work was done that I could use my card; however, when George came, the day after the work was done, he informed me that there would be an extra $50.00 charge for using it! That was not mentioned before, so I wrote a check for the $3,600.00. For that reason, I have misgivings about using them again. The work was done perfectly, though.
