Havens Roofing

From the start, it was obvious that quality work was not done. The business owner completely ignored concerns. When he was challenged about the work, Havens gave us the phone number of the Registrar of Contractors inspector to request a courtesy inspection. It went beyond a courtesy inspection when it became obvious to the inspector that the roofing job had many irregularities. A corrective work order was issued by ROC but the contractor made the situation even worse when he nailed the roofing tiles directly to the roof creating nail holes through the underlinement. In addition, the tiles in the rework area are no longer on battens as the contract specified. Further inspections took place by ROC and since June 2013 we have been waiting for this complaint to be resolved. The contractor's license was suspended for one day and he was cited by ROC for failing to perform all work in accordance with workmanship and professional industry standards.

Fixed/caulked one leak and a few more potential sites that were actually caused by gutter installation. No charge.
