Things went fine for awhile, other than the lawn, then it seemed as if they all lost pride in the job they were doing. The owner was very hard to reach and did not return calls or emails in a timely manner at all. When he decided that he was no longer going to be doing residential and was going strictly to commercial properties he helped one of his employees start out on his own picking up a few clients on his own time. The rate that they charged was high in our opinion for the work that was done by both Earth Shapes and the private employee. When they overseeded our lawn the first crew threw the seed and manure by hand so we had swirl patterns in our lawn. When the private employee overseeded the correct way, with a spreader, they let it grow to tall and it fell over and created mold and bare spots underneath. They then dropped us stating that we were the only client they had in the Foothills and they didn't want to drive all the way out here for one client. Our lawn has been an issue the whole time since we moved in because they couldn't figure out how much water it need. One week they would say it need to be watered twice a day, then the next it was getting too much water, then they would go back to it was not getting enough and change it again. For the price we paid up front and the size of the lawn there should have been no problems, but that's all there was. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I sent the owner an email after he had stopped doing the maintenance to see if they were going to do anything to fix the lawn and have yet to receive a response from him.
Description of Work: The provider was the company that originally landscaped our yard at our new home, then we hired them on to do the weekly maintenance.
