Beware!!! Stanger landscaping company is a very dishonest company. We made a big mistake signing with them. They asked for 65% down and to pay the remainder upon completion. I did not want to sign up with them at first because the wife seemed weird. She kept hounding me to sign the contract with them. I should have went with my gut feeling.She pressured me to sign up with them so they can order the material right away. I specified that i wanted the job to be completed within a month because i have children diagnosed with Autism and playing outside is good for them. She reassured me that her company can complete the job within a week(which is a lie, i later found out that they had signed contracts with other people in our neighborhood early spring which they did not start anything in their backyard).We sign the contract the first week of April. We gave them $12000. They finally placed the pavers about 4 months later after we contacted the ROC. They demanded more money after installing the pavers which needs to be corrected. They also threatened to abandon our job if we didnt give them more money.Now we have to go to court. Please be careful with this company. My neighbors have the same issue with them. They also don't want to give other customers their money back after they cancel because its been months since they signed a contract with them and they still have not started their project. i wish someone warned us about them.

Do not contract with this company. We signed an agreement with Stanger in February to build out our backyard and as of June they had not started our project. Things started out great, but I wish we had done more due diligence like looking at reviews and the Better Business Bureau site where they have a "C" rating. As the start date got closer, the communication dropped off and what was there was full of excuses and a string of missed deadlines. We terminated our agreement in June before they started and now they are refusing to refund our deposit which they are obligated to do per their own agreement. Stanger Landscaping talks a good game, but in the end they are not trustworthy and we feel like we have been scammed.

Beware of these people - after the first interactions (which were fine!) suddenly we had no communication and we were accused of being the ones at fault for their lack of communication and follow through. My mom was literally hung up on by Alexis when trying to explain why we wanted to cancel our contract and the unprofessional interactions were astounding. Spend your money elsewhere!

Loved their work, at first. Then I found out that they did not install pavers properly, never compacted. After 2-3 years we had to have their work redone as it was sinking and very uneven - dangerously so!. Additionally they do landscaping next door and ALWAY leave a mess in my front yard. Berm is trampled so I always have to repair it. LOT of trimming trash left in my front yard so I have to hand pick it up and toss it back to their neighbors. Neighbors yard looks OK when they're done, mine looks like a trash pile. AVAIL THIS CO. Also, have let owner Mike know about this but he doesn't care at all as it happened every time.

BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. REFERRED TO US BY A SMALL COMPANY IN TUCSON, REQUESTED QUOTE FROM THESE GUYS AND THE REP SHOWED UP. HE SEEMED PRETTY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT OUR REQUESTS AND GAVE GOOD SUGGESTIONS. WE WERE VERY EXCITED TO GIVE THIS COMPANY OUR BUSINESS ($15,000 BUDGET CASH). THE REP SAID HE WOULD GET BACK WITH US IN 2 DAYS WITH A PRICE QUOTE AS HE TOOK DOWN BOTH OUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE. 2 WEEKS LATER NO RESPONSE, REACHED OUT TO MIKE STANGER HIMSELF AND NO RESPONSE. COMPLETELY IGNORED US. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER TRUST A COMPANY WITH NO REVIEWS ONLINE. THEY ERASED THEIR BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB) ACCOUNT. IF THEY CAN GO ROGUE ON A PRICE QUOTE, IMAGINE WHAT THEY CAN DO WITH 50% OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AS A DEPOSIT. BEWARE.

Excellent! Very professional installation. Very low cost. Mike Stanger has been taking care of our landscape bi-monthly for over 6 years and our front and back yard always look great when he is done. He is meticulous about all the details. He also takes care of our drip system. He can be slow in responding to email or phone messages but the quality of his work more than makes up for this quirk!
