Mac Hicks charged a very fair price while he and his crew went above and beyond the call of duty, not only doing a first rate job on the new driveway but also cleaning up a mess left behind by another contractor. If you don't choose Zona Concrete, you are making a serious mistake.

Mac came out to the property. We discussed the job. He was able to fit us in as he had anticipated. Less expensive quote. He is on-site during the 2 day job. He and his crew did a good job. Cleaned up and leveled out the ground that was disturbed by the earth mover. Even my shed installer was impressed with the concrete pad. We are very happy.

These guys were professional, Quick, and reasonable. Their work was top notch and they had a great understanding of the plans that I had. If you have a permit they are a great company to work with. They scheduled their own inspections and made sure that the jobsite looked better then when they arrived. The cost didn't change start to finish and the projected time didn't change either. When they said they would be here at a certain time they showed up right on time. Very pleased that I choose them and the kids put their handprints into the slab poured.

Nothing but good to say about Zona Concrete. We just had our old beat up asphalt driveway replaced with concrete. Mac and his team were exceptional in every way. The process went exactly as we were told, and the result is perfect. It was great to watch the team working together, working hard, and having fun with eachother. After receiving several bids for a concrete slab to hold a new hot tub and to be sloped to drain for an outdoor shower, I went with Zona Concrete and am extremely pleased with their work. I am very satisfied with the price (not the highest nor the lowest of the bids I received) and was exceptionally happy with the crew and the final product. They arrived on-time and got right to work with the demolition of the old concrete and then set up the forms for the new slab. They really took their time, had excellent communication and carefully sloped and textured the draining area for the shower in a way you can't even tell unless you know what you're looking for. I am a Realtor and have top shelf contractors for just about everything I can refer to my clients, family, and friends... and I use all of my contractors personally before I ever refer them. I was very pleased with Zona’s work & their price. I got everything I wanted, and so much more. I needed to get rid of the step into the front door of my house & the handicapped accessible ramp they made as part of the concrete pad they laid was beautiful as well as functional. I haven’t seen anything else like it on the market. They also used the same exposed aggregate to make a large patio in my backyard. It’s so much nicer than plain grey concrete. They finished everything off by adding colored gravel around both concrete pads & rearranging large rocks & potted plants I already had. It is a beautifully finished yard Their attention to detail was A+ throughout the project. Everything was done on time and clean up was superior. They left my surrounding property looking better than it was before they started. Everyone in the crew was good at their job and very professional. They made my vision come to life!

Mac and all Zona was great! They were punctual, cleaned up better than when they started, came in on-time at on-budget. They were very careful to respect the neighbor’s property, Mac was here everyday to keep an eye on things and he treated his crew very professionally. I am newly retired from the construction business and remember meeting Mac on a job site well before he started his business. I think I'm a fairly good judge of character and I immediately could tell he was an upright guy. Mac has done 2 projects for me. The first was my back porch which he did 10 years ago which is still as perfect as the day he poured it. The most recent was this past week for a new garage floor and foundation. His attention to detail is meticulous and his communication with his crew truly inspires confidence. I asked for a specific recess detail at the vehicle entrance to create a positive seal where the garage door meets the floor. I am beyond impressed at how he executed this with precision. I've seen reviews where folks describe how clean their jobsite was left on completion and think, that's a nice thing to say but I am not exaggerating when I say THERE WAS NOT A SPECK OF DEBRIS LEFT BEHIND FOR ME TO CLEAN UP. I mean immaculate! These guys are really good and I'm not saying that because I consider Mac to be a friend. He is and They are REALLY GOOD! Thoroughly satisfied!

This project could not have been better. Mac the owner was respectful to his workers, he spoke Spanish to them and worked along side with them. The planning was presented to us and Mac kept us up to date as it progressed. This job was just shy of 3,000 square feet and was accomplished in five days. Mac was responsive to our needs and concerns, he never said no. He said “I can do that”. If you hire Zona Concrete you will be satisfied.

I found Mac extremely easy to work with. There were no surprises, he explained everything, and was always 100% honest. Concrete is expensive and we could have gone with asphalt for less, but this looks so much better and, in this hot climate, it will last much longer.
