I could not be more satisfied and I will hire Zimco electric for all future electrical needs, repairs and upgrades. I accidentally mangled my ceiling fan by moving a ladder near it while it was still on *note to self - don't do that again. It was mounted to a vaulted ceiling and had a sturdy down-rod, fan did not wobble etc. After bunking into it with the ladder it wobbled like it was gonna come off the ceiling. I contacted Zimco, that is operated by Kyle and his dad to see if they could fix it. They both came by and tried to salvage the fan, climbing up the ladder and tried to resecure the down-rod, and balance the fan blades, and then pointed out the damage I had done and why replacing it was necessary. Kyle also recommended a range of cost for a good ceiling fan built to last, and advised how to avoid overspending. I was not charged for this first service call and in this day and age I was just blown away by that. Kyle said get a new fan and call him when I'm ready. And that's exactly what I did and I'm enjoying this fan now as I write this. Kyle had promptly returned my initial contact which I had sent via an email address, and then followed up with a phone called as soon as I purchased the ceiling fan. Very professional, informative, on time and affordable. Pretty awesome to see a father and son team working together. I highly recommend Zimco electric. Just to reiterate as I'm filling out the Angie's list "Approximate cost of service" below: the service call for the fan removal and new fan installation was $100, however the first service call where they tried to fix it they did not charge me. I felt compelled to give them something for their time but he refused and said they happened to be in the neighborhood. Kyle also helped us by replacing a fire alarm battery that's like 12' from the ground (seen in picture)

We were extremely pleased with Zimco Electric. The day I called them, Kyle happened to be in the neighborhood that afternoon called and stopped by to give us an estimate. We had the written estimate the next day and the work was scheduled. He provided us with a couple of options. This is a father and son business and it was what one would expect from a family operation...quality work and service.
