Went fine....I just am not sure I want to invest that much in an old couch. They run a laid back store which might not be comfortable for all.

Everything was just great. It's just that it is an old floor lamp with an unusual on/off switch. All the various lights at the top an be adjusted separately and then the whole thing is turned off and on by pulling down on the pole. The pole slides up and down and that turned the switch on and off. They couldn't fix this feature for some reason so it was wired with a toe-touch switch. Instead of it working the way it used to, we turn it on by tapping on the button. It's just not the same. I believe this could have been repaired with people who really knew old lamps.

I thought the price was a little high, but I haven't had any work like that done in years. They did a very nice job, and they were nice people.

I was either going to get it repaired or replaced because they have fixtures in there. I described what my issue was and they took a look at my lampshade. They didn't think I would be able to replace it with the original. The guy who did repairs thought he could do something with it and he did.
