I was 2 days from my grand opening and found out that my swamp cooler was completely rusted out and could not function. The other side had not cooler at all. I found Matt's information and called him at 7:30 at night and he answered his phone. He came the following day and totally took care of us in less than 24 hours we were up and running and ready for our grand opening. Matt and his son Tyler could not have been easier to work with. They replaced one cooler and added another.

Matt and Tyler showed up as planned and performed a basic check on my system. Matt recommended that I install a water overflow switch on the drain pan in the attic. This switch will shut my AC system down before water leaks out of the pan onto my ceiling. This will prevent water damage to my home, which could be very expensive to replace.

Matt does excellent work at a reasonable price and has done so for approximately 3 years. I believe all AC techs should also know electrical and he does. As well, too often techs are hesitant to share information about system problems, others just do the job and are gone. Matt takes the time to explain the problem and answer my questions; this is a style I appreciate. He uses photographs extensively and shares these with me which saves me the time and energy to climb up on a roof or visit an apartment site. Of note, is that he has also done other jobs for me including appliance electrical, installing a water heater, and rebuilding cabinetry in an apartment--these skills are a testament to his general knowledge and complement his HVAC and electrical expertise.

He replaced the valve looked over the whole system and made a recommendation that I use different air filters. I have already recommended him to friends and they have been extremely happy with his work as well.

Matt Winter, owner of Winter Air came to my home personally and discussed the the various options for a replacement! He stated based on the square footage of my home the old unit was under sized. None of the other companies I spoke to told me that, they just wanted to replace my old unit with the same size unit. Winter Air and its owner especially are extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable, and prompt on the job! Thanks to Matt at "Winter Air" I saved a lot of money on my new unit, in price and in energy efficiency as compared to what his competitors wanted to charge for a lesser efficient unit! A couple of years ago, I contacted Winter Air because my ac was not blowing cold air. I spoke with Matt, the owner of Winter Air and explained what was going on with my air conditioner. He came out the same day, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it the same day. The service, and professionalism was outstanding!! I have been using Winter Air for a couple of years now for regular service on my unit. Winter Air is always prompt with service, and they do an excellent job for a fair price; and have always beat the competitor's prices.
