 + -1 moreThey initially gave me a quote several months before the work but due to some minor issues on my side we did not contract them right away. When he came out to do the estimate he was very prompt and had a very good feel of what to do to solve my problem (long balcony railing that was a bit wobbly in the center). He was able to weld uprights and tie the railing to the roof. It looks good and he even painted it with the supplied paint. You cannot even see the welds. The railing is now strong and looks good. He cleaned up after himself and was very professional. I would defiantly recommend Williams Custom Iron to anyone with a railing issue (or any other metal project).
Description of Work: Reinforced a balcony railing and tie it to the building.

Description of Work: Not impressed. I called wishing to discuss my needs for some work done on my back yard fence. I got no answer after several rings so I hung up and called another company. About 45 minutes later my phone rings and a rude gentlemen starts asking who called him from my number. After a admitting that I had called a gate company the person on the phone said "Ya, Williams gate?" I said yes. He then asked if I "wanted a gate or something" I said no. If this is any indication of how professional this company is...then no I don't want to do business with it. Set up your voice mail and until you do be humble when returning a call to a client.

Description of Work: Kent repaired a security guard on a bedroom window. It had been made by another iron fabricator, but never finished.I called him at noon, & he had the job finished by 20'clock! Great service. I felt rescued - it was worth every penny!

Description of Work: I called Kent along with several other wrought iron business and he either answered the phone or got right back to me after I called. some of the other ones I called twice and never got a call back. Kent had the best price and could build the 14 foot long fence I needed and deliver it within the couple of days that I needed it by. I E-mailed him a picture and exact measurements and it came out great. I was to be there when he brought the fence to help move it around back but I was late and so he not only brought it around back himself but he installed it also at no extra charge. I could'nt ask for more, he was great. !

Kent came and considered what we wanted, showed us previous work he'd done, and came up with a reinforcement solution that is durable -- 3/8 steel plate -- and decorative. He had the project done from estimate to complete installation within a few weeks. The work looks great and we are very satisfied.
Description of Work: We hired Williams Custom Iron to design, fabricate and install steel reinforcements to wooden beams holding up porches on our home.
