We had super hard and bad-tasting water in our townhouse. Visted the Water Tec location on Irvington to get a quick look at what systems were available and how much space the appliances would need. Set appointment for estimate. Mr. Fabian Ruiz came out and checked over the townhouse thoroughly and made recommendations. I chose a higher capacity water softener model than he recommended since the price was not that much more. Mr. Ruiz and helper Jack came back later and installed a 1" pressure regulator valve (which our townhouse did not have), a reverse osmosis system in kitchen, a new kitchen sink (which we had bought retail ahead of time), and a Hydro Guard water softener system. Due to HOA rules, I chose the option of running the drain line for the water softener through the interior of the townhouse to drain into the clothes washer drain. The line could have been run on the exterior of the building but that would have needed permission from our HOA. I waited on writing this review to see how the systems all performed over a couple of months. Other than adding salt, the water conditioner has been working great and the water is much softer now. The water from the RO system is excellent tasting. Mr. Ruiz explained when the RO system will probably need replacement filter cartridges and how much those should cost. Also signed up for a salt delivery/system check service that Water Tec offers. Very happy with my experience over all.
