United Electric did the job quickly and charged me the minimum rate.

Both electrician (Joel) and his helper were courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. The design was so dated that it took him awhile to figure out just what needed and didn't need repair but in the end he avoided extra costs to me by precisely determining the nature and extent of the problem. he also updated the switching devices and timer. everything works like a champ now and he came in under estimate.

We had been having problems with our electrical system in that some lights would flicker at times and we had wanted to install a lightning/surge arrester as well, so we scheduled an appointment to have these things addressed. Joel arrived on time and installed the arrester without problem, Steve (owner) arrived 20 minutes later and together with Joel troubleshooted the problems with our electrical panel and concluded that there were too many outlets on one circuit (our house was built in 1954). All in all, they were courteous and diagnosed the problem and came up with a solution in a very timely fashion! Also they identified problems that previous electricians failed to identify (we've had two other electricians plus a home inspector in the past). We highly recommend this company and will only use them in the future!

Other than a mixup on the start time things went well. The electician was friendly and I felt confident in his knowledge of the tasks.

Keith came out right on time. He took down the old fan and put up the new one, replaced our smoke detector and checked the lights for damage. Since I was unable to drive he even ran to the store to get a battery for the remote for the fan to be sure that everything was working. I got a $25 discount for mentioning Angie's List! Keith was very professional and answered all my questions. I will definitely use United Electric again.

Quality and quick. Not a complicated job, but very professional. Got permit. Tested load limits to make sure we would not exceed box limits. Mounted external none to brick wall...lined up so it would not stand out. Good job!

United Electric has done work on my house and property over the past 5 years, most recently finishing ~9/17/10. I have been refurbishing an old property, and they have done all my electrical work both rewiring the house and wall around the property, installing lighting and ceiling fans, installing new service. Steve is professional, prompt, has good and useful suggestions, works well with my general contractors, and pleasant. I have never been unhappy with the work done.

Electrician arrived on time,provided the service and stayed within estimate. I was very impressed by the work that was done.

They came in under estimate and finished timely if not early. they showed up exactly when they said they would, and they worked around my schedule. They completed all of the inside work first, then when I had to leave for work, they started on the outside work. all of the finished work is all very professionally finished. Everyone was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them. A great experience from beginning to end.

We had a bit of rocky start, trying to meet up for the estimate, but once Steve came he gave me the options for fans and wiring changes. I felt confident that he knew what he was doing, important especially for a house at least 60 years old and with false ceilings, roofs and heaven knows what else. For the job, Joel arrived on time and got right to work. Nice guy, seemed very competent. I felt comfortable leaving him at the house alone when I went to work. He finished by noon. Had cleaned up the bathroom, and patched the roof at the vent. Did a good job patching the wall around the new switch plate and fan. The fan works great, and I can plug a blow dryer in!

The work was done well and the electrician was courteous and efficient. It did take about a week to schedule the service, but we weren't really in a hurry. They called to let us know when they would be there and arrived when they said.

He answered my call promptly and got in touch with the resident at the property to make an appointment. He arrived on time and performed the work in the estimated time and for the estimated price.

They cleaned up after themselves immediately and very well. They did all this work in a timely manner, they were quick and efficient. I would absolutely hire them again.

Overloaded my kitchen circuit and blew 5 of my kitchen outlets on a Friday afternoon. Checked Angie's List for a recommendation for an electrician and called United Electric. The office recording said I could call Steve on his cell phone which I did. Steve diagnosed the problem over the phone, asked if I could wait until Monday morning and said he'd have someone call me then to set up a time. On Monday morning a very polite Justin called at 8:30 to see if he could come over in the next 15 minutes. I asked him how long he estimated the work would take as I had to take my daughter to basketball practice in an hour. He estimated 30 to 45 minutes but said he'd be happy to come when I got back. He showed up exactly at 10:00 as arranged, diagnosed and fixed my problem and even replaced another outlet in my kitchen for me that had cracked. He was finished in 30 minutes and when I took out my checkbook he told me that Steve would bill me! The bill came to $81 but he gave me an Angie's List customer discount of $25. What a deal. Would definitely use this company again as I have been through about a half dozen electricians since I've lived in this house, none of whom were as professional, responsive, punctual and cost effective as United.

Excellent. My call was answered promptly, they had a tech on-site quickly and he followed through on figuring out what needed to be done and completing the job. The scope of work I provided was not very precise ("get everything working"), but he did not do any unnecessary work: in some cases it was as simple as resetting tripped breakers. The tech was very courteous and gave me a status report by cell phone at the end of each day's work.

They were great. The price was $50 with the discount they provided. He also gave us an estimate on the work that needed to be done in the future.

They did a good job. They were very responsive and punctual. The technician who did the work was very competent and he did exactly what we wanted him to do. The price was less than the estimate they had given. The quality of work was excellent and the price was reasonable.

Very prompt to respond and the work was completed to my satisfaction. I especially appreciated the detailed cleanup of the job site. It was as if they never dug a trench in my yard.

After a monsoon storm one of our our remote controlled ceiling fans stopped working altogether. We decided to replace this one and another one in our bedroom with new fans that did NOT have remote control. Plus we wanted a fan installed in our office. I called United Electric as we had used them twice before, once when we remodeled our kitchen and needed new wiring plus another time when we had some additional electric work. They replied quickly and were at my home in a couple days. The service man was very polite, worked quickly and cleaned up when he was finished. It took about 3hrs total. He had to assemble 3 fans and take down the old ones. We have been very pleased with all United's employees and highly recommend them for any electrical work you need.

When we spoke on the phone with Mr. Lambach, he asked many questions and then told us that it sounded ;like we had a loose connection somewhere. When Mr. Lambach arrived he went straight to our fuse box and there was the loose connection which he promptly repaired. When he was done he told us that he would only charge us for the service call, which was $75.00, and without our thinking about it, mentioned that he would deduct $25.00 because we found him on Angie's List. We found him to be pleasant and professional and we will certainly call him again if and when we need an electrician's services.

about an electrical problem with our threadmill. He took time to listen and ask questions and to make sure that certain things had been checked out before calling him. At that time the threadmill seemed to have recovered from whatever the problem was and Mr. Lambach suggested that we may have a loose connection somewhere. He asked if we would like him to send someone over but we concluded that we would call him again if the problem re-occured. I found Mr. Lambach to be professional and patient

We have had other work done by this company and we have always been very satisfied. The technicians that came out to do the work were very professional and had the work finished very promptly.
