From beginning to end, the process was flawless. I called to get an estimate and within one day had an email estimate, followed up with a mailed copy. I approved the estimate and the job was quickly scheduled. The two electricians showed up at the assigned time and had the work completed in a little over two hours. They cleaned up their work area and reviewed it with me. A few days later I received a statement for the balance due, with the pleasant surprise of an Angie's List discount applied. I recommend without reservation.

They were able to fix several, cap off the line, and do the diagnostics to quote the remaining work. We received the bill and revised quote in a timely manner, so all is good. They are a professional organization and I appreciate that being a busy business person.

This is the third time I've used United Electric. Each time the experience has been similar. Steve or one of his workers has come out and given me a common sense explanation of my problem and provided good solutions at reasonable prices. I trust this company.

Rewired service to outside breaker, Mar 1913, then had to replace failed breaker in Oct for no charge.

Two workers arrived on time and worked for about five hours to complete all work. Very professional and responsive to our needs. Would definitely use them again. Good clean-up and took away old fixtures and boxes from new ones.

It was exactly as Steve and I had discussed, and was very professionally done. The outlet works perfectly, and the employees left the garage clean and I didn't have to clean up after them. I don't have time for a lot of details, but suffice it to say, a highly professional interview, followed by the same quality of proposal, then the same for the performance. A really good outfit, high quality work overall. I ama completely satisfied.

Steve took my inquires seriously and helped me choose the appropriate equipment needed for the job. He was prompt to respond to my questions and spent time going over the manuals of the equipment I ordered. He made several visits, took pictures of the exsisting set up and came up with a plan to meet my needs. Every other electrician I contacted was either not interested in the work or didn't know how to do the installation. His crew was very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. United Electric was prompt, courteous and professional and sent me an invoice that was less than expected. I am 100% satisfied and would have them come back for future work in a heart beat.

Everyone from the phone contact to the actual workers were all courteous, punctual and professional. The work they performed was of good quality and everything functioned without issues. I was not able to supervise their progress as I had to work, but we estimated that it would have taken no more than a day. It ended up taking two and as a result, the labor was more than I expected, hence the B on price. Overall I would say my experience was good, but I can't help but wonder why it took so long. I don't recall them mentioning any major issues or setbacks.

Because of the extreme heat at this time of year, they showed up early at 7 am as agreed. They worked steadily, taking care not to dig into the irrigation line, which I marked out before their visit. They found another line, which I didn't know about. They ran new, corrosion proof conduit for the 35 feet to the area of the pump, mounted the timer on the house wall, and made all the electrical connections. This required a trench 10-12" deep in hard caliche. They were done in less than four hours. They cleaned up and left with everything working. Even the correct time was set on the timer.

My fiancé dealt with Steve, thought he was extremely amiable and professional. Got the job done promptly and as a first time user of Angie's list with his service we got $25 off the bill.

All the work was carried out in a very professional manner. 1) For the external outlets, when the job was finished, the trench was filled in and the gravel was raked back such that you couldn't even tell that a trench had been there. The new conduit from the circuit breaker box was installed very cleanly. 2) For the added outlet in the bathroom, the installers made minimum cuts in the wall. They patched the drywall and gave the patches a nice skimcoat. All that's left for me to do is some minor sanding and applying some texture to match the existing texture, before priming and painting. 3) For the balcony fan installation, we opted for external conduit. The installers did an excellent job of making the run efficient, so that there was minimal work for me to hide the conduit. All the work was done cleanly and all debris was cleaned up before the installers left. Jose (electrician) and Tim (assistant) were both very professional and thorough. We were very pleased with the work that was done and would use United again if we need additional electrical work done.

Steve and his crew at United Electric were terrific! Steve called back promptly after I left a message and scheduled a crew to come to my house within 2 days of my initial call. His crew was prompt, courteous and neat (cleaned up completely). They removed two external lights and then installed two new lighting fixtures -- took them less than 1 hour and things look and work great. I would definitely recommend United Electric and will definitely call them again for future electrical needs.
