+ -1 moreWe used them on a recomendation from Angie's List, and they were NOT misquoted! They were effecient, they weren't condescending, but also didn't act like it was the worst job in the world. They were just all around excellent across the board. There was one piece of furniture that was damaged, and without question they took it back to the truck and sent it off for repair and less than two weeks later, it was returned.

+ -1 moreI called to set date. I was called back by owner to confirm and to give me their guarantee of service and a number for contacting them. The movers arrived on time and ready to go, I was called during the move to make sure everything was going well, which it was. We bought the movers lunch and tipped them since the move went so smooth. We actually used them twice in a week since we had so much to move and the house we moved to was smaller in size. The guys were professional, polite and very accommodating. I recommend them to anyone who has to relocate a big or small move.

+ -1 moreThey came to the house to give us an estimate which was reasonable. We had used them once before and had a very good experience. They arrived on time, 2 two young men that were not the two we asked for but were told the others were not available. The move took all day into the early evening. Although they shrink wrapped the furniture, they didn't use enough pads to deter damage. Almost every wood item was damaged. An antique rocker was broken and scratched. They did tell me about it. A tall jewelry chest had a deep scratch across the top. End tables were scratched and nicked as was a large wood leather coffee table. They hooked up the washer wrong, which I found out later. TVs were handled well as was the refrigerator. The leather furniture made it intact. When I called their office to complain and list the damage, the young lady answering the phone simply brushed me off. We certainly will not use this mover again and do not recommend them at all.
Description of Work: Moved 4 bedroom from Catalina to 4 bedroom south of Vail. No packing involved. We did all the packing ourselves and had bought our boxes ourselves.

+ -1 moreThey were very helpful in loading the truck and trailer. We did have some damage in the form of scratches etc., but generally a good job. They placed the HHG in storage in Abq. When we have the HHG's delivered to our new home we will then look for any additional damage.

Description of Work: We hired 2 men and a truck to move furniture and boxs from our home to a storage unit. We told them it was important that the unit be well packed to avoid any additional cost for storage. Boy!, did they do a wonderful job of packing. We had another 10 X 10 unit in reserve just in case we needed the space. The driver told us he could get everything into the one unit we were already using. He was right. As a matter of fact, there was about 4 feet remaining when he was done packing. We were thrilled. I would have bet that we needed additional room. They did start a a bit later than they said they would because of their new computer system being down but made up for that by sending two more workere to help with the loading. I couldn't be happier.

+ -1 moreDaniel and Sean were fast, effecient, courteous, and very knowledeable regarding the moving processes. They are superb and a credit to themselves and the company. Likewise the person with whom I made the appointment was excellent, very professional.
Description of Work: Three pieces were moved from my home to a climate controlled storage facility. Two were large delicate pieces of restored antique furniture and the third was a large steel filing cabinet. All three were prepared and handled in an expert manner!

The staff was very professional from our first phone call to Carla who is charge of scheduling to Gabe who provided the household estimate. Ken and Seimi packed , loaded and delivered our furniture with care and excellence. They were on time and brought in additional staff as needed to keep us on our timeline. I have moved many times during my working career and these guys are the best! I highly recommend them.

+ 0 more2 area of concern. Their billing was a bit misleading. They should have a sum of the cost. It was not broken down very well but when we got to the new place it was higher that we had prepared for. They did lower the price for us. We had things that were going to storage and to our apartment. They were clearly marked which go to which. They mixed up a bunch of boxes and had to go out and buy new items which cost us about $650. We contacted them about this and after a bit of persuasion they reimbursed about $400. Other than those two issues it was a decent service. They did work hard and had minimal damage to our items

I had assumed I'd have fewer items and be more prepared for their arrival and they showed up eager and able to do whatever was needed to make the move happen. I had had some 'family' assistance too and wish that I would have saved a few more items to be moved by the professionals rather than family. I'll be glad to contact them again for my next move. Each of the guys was courteous; careful and friendly. They did a wonderful job.
Description of Work: After arriving and introductions, I walked the guys through the house point out what they were to move; what was staying to be donated; and what we needed to finish packing ourselves. They were attentive and asked good questions. Then they set about their tasks - they were good about taking things (like a bed and heavy dresser) apart and securing fragile items to prevent dings or breaks. On the delivery end again, they were over the top. They helped me put cushions on the feet of the furniture to protect the floors and were patient with me while we shifted some items just a little bit this and that way! It was easy to get them paid and they explained their costs well.

They came out at their appointed time, quickly assessed what they were going to move and then went about and loaded all items quickly and efficiently. They were curteous, kind, accomodating and in very good humor the entire day. We had packed a good portion of our stuff but they were also packing up the little nit-noid stuff we had missed or forgotten about. They loaded up our 3 bedroom rental and our storage unit almost to perfection. Upon arrival at our new home once again they were quick, curteous and professional in all aspects, despite being tired from the long trip and the heat. I have nothing but praise and respect for these two fine gentlemen and would highly recommend them to anyone making a local or long distance move. Kudos to the team and thanks again from a highly satisfied customer!!
Description of Work: Called upon Two Men & a Truck to move our 3-bedroom+ storage unit for a local move. We decided on this company based on reviews entered on Angie's List. We received an email with an estimate for the cost and time involved for the move. Their dispatcher called about 3 days earlier with a time window of when to expect their folks for the move.They arrived on time, were friendly and good humored in their introduction and then quickly surveyed the contents to be moved and then got right to work loading up all of our rooms and ensuring our breakables and electronics were properly protected. They were constantly asking if I was satisfied with their work and performance and invited to inspect their packing process, which was superb. They did not just toss items into their van willy-nilly. They worked efficiently but took their time to ensure everything was pakced properly without minimal damage to the contents. Our new home was 45 minutes away and they could have easily took their own route and added time to the cost but they allowed me to lead them to their destination. When we arrived at the new place they were very accomodating to the other delivery services going on at the time and once again worked expediently and efficiently getting everything unloaded off the truck. They were still in good spirits despite the heat, drive and work already performed. They also reminded us several times that they were available to help move any of our items around until we were satisfied. They were respectful of us, our belongings and our situation and went about completing their job as quickly as possible.

+ 0 moreWe were given an estimate over the phone which was reasonably accurate given unforeseen logistical problems at our storage unit. The movers showed up on time, worked very long and hard for eight hours without taking a break (!), worked well around another mover (3 Gorillas) who were partially blocking my storage units and blatantly refused to budge an inch. My movers did twice the work in half the time, compared to 3 Gorillas, and without complaint. I've used TMT several times before and have always been satisfied, but these guys couldn't have done a better job. Look no further if you're doing a local move.

+ -1 moreWe found them through Angie's List. They did a 400 miles trip to San Diego and then moving furniture from San Diego to here is another 400 miles. When they came in, they unloaded everything, placed it wherever we wanted it. They made sure that we were satisfied with all that have been done and then they left. They were very flexible. They were able to get over there, get loaded all in one day and then get back to Phoenix at least the next day and come on in and unload. I thought that was amazing for a place as 400 miles away.

We were happy with their service. They were punctual during the move; however, we did have to make a call for the repairs.
