Not sure whether this is a franchise but service was terrible. Showed up could not solve the problem. Waited three days to get back still no solution. Terrible!

The badly-needed car was made good again but only after parting with a goodly amount of lunch money.
Description of Work: Without first consulting Angie's list I went to the local yellow pages and picked a company I was given to believe was nearby. I was quoted a price of $25 for the service call and anything up to $25 to open the vehicle. Shortly thereafter I receive a call from the tech who estimated his arrival time to be in 45 minutes(?). He did arrive near the appointed time and went to work on the vehicle which he did open without damage to the car. Hoping to cut his visit short I began making out the check but darned near dropped a cookie when he calmly quoted $1xxx + tax=$111 for the visit. I made out the check (what alternative was there?) and asked for his card. Come to find out he's a self-employed contractor who responds to calls of help from various locksmiths in the Tucson area.Moral! Look first and then make the leap before hiring a professional. If I had thought first I would have found the business listed on Angie's website with an "F" for the one review listed and for the same reason I just voiced.

Scam Alert... My wife locked her keys in the car and contacted Tucson Locksmith to come unlock it and was quoted a service fee of $29 for the trip to our house and then and unspecified labor charge depending on what kind of locks were on our vehicle. The "technician" showed up in an unmarked white van, no uniform and no identification of any kind. He then unlocked our car in less than 2 minutes. While filling out some paperwork (which we never saw) , he informed my wife that the charge was $119. For 2 minutes work. While arguing with him about the charge, she called for me. This was the first indication that the "technician" had that there was anyone else in the house and the price immediately dropped to the $50 my wife was offering him as a fair price. When I confronted him, he said to forget the whole thing, he wasn't charging us anything and drove off. I believe that he saw a woman alone and tried to scam her for more than double the going rate in our area for a locksmith visit. I have no problem paying someone a fair price for their training and experience but this was well beyond that. It would be one thing if we had an exotic vehicle but a Subaru? Come on...
