I bought a manufactured home. Dominic did not go under the house, nor did he take any of the panels off to look under the house. If he had, he would have seen a leaking pipe and a lake. Because the ground was saturated, all of the supports had sunk into the ground, and the house had no support on one side.....it was basically pulling apart. I also had water pipes burst, and the plumbers did not even know what kind of piping was used...…..they thought irrigation tubing. Also the kitchen sink drain RAN UP HILL, so my sink was constantly backing up. Once my plumber pointed it out, it was so obvious, any home inspector should have seen this. Had he done his job properly, I never would have purchased this house.

Because I lived out of state at the time, I put my entire trust in this company to make sure the home I wanted to purchase was safe, what repairs needed, etc. When I moved in, I couldn't figure out why the lights on one electrical circuit were flickering. I wondered why didn't the inspector catch this? I had a friend come visit me in July to finally try to figure this out. He has extensive electrical experience. When he tested the light socket, the power went down 20%! He went to the electrical panel, which had been inspected by Tucson Home Inspection and was said to be in good condition, and found one wire CHARRED!! When he stripped and cut the wire and put it back in the panel, no more flickering. You can even see in the inspection picture which wire was charred. I was not told about this. In fact, the report said the panel was in good shape. Also, I had my friend replace all smoke detector batteries since I am physically unable to climb ladders and found that several of the smoke detectors were UNPLUGGED! Some even had the original batteries in them! Why weren't these tested at the inspection? That should be standard. How did my friend know the batteries were original? He was the superintendent with the builder of this home and they put in the batteries. Also the GFCI plug in the garage was busted so that had to be replaced. Were these not tested either? Basic things that should have been caught in the inspection were not. I am highly disappointed I spent so much money for a sub-par inspection.
