They were late starting, took over a month to finish and the quality of workmanship ranged from decent to atrocious. Huge gouges in wood throughout and very poor alignment of the prefinished product in general with wide gaps in some areas and loose (squeaky) floors in several areas. Exposed staples in many areas and absolutely no effort made to correct the problems or hide problem wood in closets. The door trim looks like it was hacked off with a hatchet in some places. The job took nearly twice as long as estimated for no good reason that I was given since nearly $8K was hardly a bargain price for the job. My wife was desperately ill at the time (she's gone now) and they knew that yet still screwed us. I had enough on my mind with a very sick wife and didn't pursue action against them, but ... well, water under the bridge now. Just joined this list and thought I'd save someone else the grief if possible.

So he was hired and did a great job. I would definitely consider calling him for any hardwood floor installation, repair or refinishing.
