A water pipe began leaking under my sister-in-law's driveway in February. She contacted a plumbing contractor who cut a trench and installed a new pipe from the street to the house. They advised contacting an asphalt contractor to fill the trench and put in new asphalt. At my sister-in-law's request, I checked several asphalt contractors on Angie's list, and she selected TUCSON ASPHALT because they had a good rating and were able to come out quickly. They came out on schedule, provided her with a detailed written cost estimate, and set a date for the work. A few days before the agreed-on date, they re-contacted her and moved up the date for filling the trench in order to complete the basic work ahead of a forecast rainstorm. They completed the remainder of the filling and sealing on the original scheduled date and billed as set forth in the original estimate. My sister-in-law tells me that they were professional to deal with, and I can say that the driveway looks very good after I looked at it myself.

Excellent job. They did evey thing promised in a more than satisfactory manner. I feel fortunate to have found them.

They were extremely professional and we liked them a lot. We did not give them the work because the quote was out of our budget, but we will call them again if we have a more appropriate need. I believe they would have done an extremely high-quality job.

We use them every seven years. They do a great job. I would say to use them. The price is good. They were very professional.

Tucson Asphalt Contractors did a great job in all phases, from quote to performance. The estimator (Joe R.) was punctual for the appointment and the quote was reasonable (although not the lowest). His demeanor and confidence convinced us to chose Tucson Asphalt Contractors for the job. Seeing some of their other work done in the area (such as bike lanes recently added to a neighboring road) was a great plus in convincing us. The work itself lasted almost 2 days. One day to tear the existing driveway and regrade the area, and another day to pour and smooth the asphalt. Both crews (tear-up and asphalt) were very punctual (arrived pretty much at dawn) and polite. Work was done in a very professional and efficient manner. Despite the narrowness of some areas, they were very careful around the house and yard and there was no damage to the landscape, except a couple of small tree branches that snapped. In other words, the job went extremely smoothly and on time. We highly recommend Tucson Asphalt Contractors and will gladly re-hire them for any asphalt driveway work.

We purchased our home through an auction in 2009 and the driveway was just gravel. I called several local paving companies for an estimate but Paul from Tucson Asphalt, who I later learned was the owner, was by far the most helpful and informative over the phone. He said he would have an estimator call me within 24 hours and I actually recieved the call within 2 hours. The estimator came out the very next day and we discussed exactly what I wanted and expected. I continued to get several estimates and just as my gut instinct told me, Tucson Asphalt was the most thorough, explaining everything they would do and would not do for the price they gave me. We accepted the estimate and we worked out a schedule to do the work the very next week. The crew was at my home at 7 a.m. and the job was completed by 5:00 p.m. the same day. They had all the equipment required to get the job done and even brought a huge pile of prickley pear cactus to the dump that my husband had piled in our yard, at no extra charge. The next day, Keith, the Superintendant, came by the house to make sure we were happy and that everything was good. We recieved exceptional service starting from the very 1st phone call. The crew did an excellent job and we very professional also. This company from the bottom up is just exemplary. We will never use any other paving contractor other than Tucson Asphalt. Very Happy!
