He and his helper worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after the days work, and made the room exactly what we wanted. We were a bit surprised at the price but since we had neglected to get a signed contract we paid the amount requested.

A few days before we were getting pictures taken of our house to list it, my husband and I were going to swap out a light fixture over our kitchen island. When we removed the old fixture, we saw a large hole in the drywall that had been hidden by the old fixture. The brackets for the old fixture were also different than the new fixture, so we knew it was beyond our abilities. I called several handyman businesses, but Pete was the only person who could come out the next day. When he saw the ceiling, he said that it was a bigger project than he was expecting, so he'd have to come back the following week. When I explained that we needed to list our house ASAP, so needed it fixed, he had compassion and said that he could come back the next day to finish the job. He inserted a 2x4 into the ceiling so that the fixture could be hung centered over the island. He then installed the fixture and repaired the hole in the drywall. He even painted the area over the island to match the rest of the ceiling so that it had a clean finished look. He did a very nice job - it looked great when it was all finished! He was very professional. I also appreciate his kindness when he realized how stressed we were about our time crunch. I would definitely use him again.

After receiving delivery and installation of new appliances I was informed that the company would not install the microwave oven because backsplash tiles were in the way. Seeing that I had other projects that needed attention I decided to call Top Rung Handyman Services. Pete promptly returned my call and made an appointment for the estimate. He arrived on time and provided me with the estimate and then agreed upon an installation date. Pete showed up on time and had everything he needed for the work. After a few hours all work was completed to my satisfaction. Pete also saved me a few bucks by diagnosing a problem with my doorbell and suggested an easy fix. I will not hesitate to use or recommend his services in the future. A true professional.

He showed up on time and got to work immadiately then ran into a small problem with the water connectors, went out to his truck and retrieved two new ones and finished the install.

The repair looks beautiful and the work was all done in a professional manner. I have some more work that I want done inside the house and I will be calling him soon. His pricing was great.

Prompt service and competent work including repainting

Pete arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. He was pleasant and professional, and I felt he took pride in doing the job right. He used a little creativity when needed, and even gave some good suggestions (which I took) on attractive ways to hang my new shelves. I am very pleased with the outcome of his two our visit, which ran about $100. I have more minor things I need done around the house, and I will definitely be calling on Pete to do them!

The next day he called and left a message, that he turned down the job. I called him back and he said he said he just didn't feel good about working with me, that we weren't a match. He became emotional demanding there was a white strip when there wasn't , and was unfair about the coupon thing. That was my experience with Pete. I wanted to use him because he seemed to know how to do what I wanted.

Pete is very good. In each case he arrived just as arranged. He was able to look at each job, and immediately understood what he needed to do to accomplish the task at hand. He has good tools, he knows what he can do, and he is efficient in his work. The work is professional. If we have any other handyman work that needs to be done, he will be the one we will call. On one call, Pete also took care of a few smaller things that had been accumulating. We discovered Top Rung Handyman Services through a business card he had placed on our HOA web site, so there must be other satisfied customers nearby. Using the services of Pete and Top Rung was a pleasant experience from start to finish.
