+ -1 moreDEL CAME TO OUR HOME AND WALKED THRU ALL THE ROOMS TO GET A CLEAR SENSE OF OUR DESIGN STYLE. HE THEN OFFERED HIS INTERIOR DESIGN BACKGROUND IN ADDITION TO HIS WINDOW TREATMENT EXPERIENCE. HE ASKED US WHAT WE WANTED TO ACCOMPLISH, SHADE FROM HOT SUN, COLD WINDS IN WINTER, DESIGN, COLOR OPTIONS SUCH AS SHADES THAT GO UP TO TOP AND ALSO DWON TO BOTTOM FROM THE TOP.HE WENT TO HIS "TRAVELING TRUCK "- WHICH WAS A STORE ON WHEELS - CLEAN, NEAT AND ORGANIZED BEYOND BELIEF AND SELECTED SEVERAL BOOK WITH TYPES OF WINDOW TREATMENT AND FABRICS. HE HELD MANY CHOICES UP TO THE WINDOW, SO I COULD SEE WHAT THE DAYLIGHT DOES TO THE APPEARANCE OF THE COLORS !!! GENIUS! HE ASKED FOR FEEDBACK AND WE THEN NARROWED DOWN THE CHOICES UNTIL WE FOUND A COLOR THAT WAS A PURE MATCH / BLEND WITH OUR PAINT AND FURNITURE TONES. DEL EXPLAINED AND EDUCATED US ON THE DIFFERENCES OF SLIDING DOORS TREATMENTS AND WE PICKED A VERTI-GLIDE FOR EASE, COLOR AND QUALITY. WE HAD SEVERAL OTHERS COME TO HELP AND THERE WAS NO COMPARISON IN SERVICE AND EXPERTISE. IF THERE WAS AN EMMY FOR WINDOWS, IT GOES TO DEL HANDS DOWN!
Description of Work: HOME VISIT FOR DESIGN EVALUATION OF OUR HOME AND THE SELECTION OF WINDOW TREATMENTS FOR ENTIRE LIVING ROOM, DINING AREA AND ENTRY HALL. INSTALLATION OF THE BLINDS - AFTER BEING BEYOND SATISFIED BY DEL'S DESIGN "KNOWING", SENSE OF COLOR AND STYLE....HE CAME BACK WITH 2 GENTLEMEN FOR THE INSTALLATION. IN WALK 2 KIND AND CARING GENTLEMEN DRESSED NEAT ENOUGH FOR DINNER WITH ENOUGH SPOTLESS THICK QUILT DROP CLOTHES TO PROTECT MY FLOOR. THEY WORKED IN UNISON, LIKE A FINE PIECE OF MUSIC, CHECKING AND DOUBLE CHECKING ALL DETAILS, ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS MY ACTIVE MIND PRESENTED. NO QUESTION THEY WERE VERY EXPERIENCED AND EXPERT AT WHAT THEY DO!! AND I COULD SPOT A PIMPLE ON THE MONA LISA!!! THEN DEL CAME BY TO ASSURE WE WERE SATISFIED AND THE BLINDS WERE WORKING AS EXPECTED AND THEY WERE. THIS MAN TRANSFORMED MY NEW HOME TO A PALACE. PLEASE KNOW I HAD CALLED EVERY COMPANY WHO DOES WINDOWS AND HIS PRICE WAS THE BEST!! BUT FOR THIS LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL I WOULD HAVE PAID MORE AND I AM CHEAP AND UNEMPLOYED RIGHT NOW. I AM FROM NEW YORK CITY AND NOT EASILY PLEASED AND I AM TELLING YOU THAT YOU CANNOT BEAT OR EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE SERVICE WE WERE GIVEN - IT WAS A PURE JOY AND A PLEASURE IN EVERY WAY AND BELIEVE I DO NOT LIKE SPENDING MONEY!! I would NOT change a thing about this experience.I WANT TO SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS BECAUSE EXCELLENCE NEEDS TO BE SHARED !!! MY HOME LOOKS BETTER THAN I COULD EVER IMAGINE AND HAS ADDED VALUE IN A BIG WAY!!

+ -1 moreDel had all of our window treatments completed and installed well before our move-in date. He uses only the best companies for his products, such as Hunter Douglas. We've had a couple of small issues over the last couple of years and the company stood behind their products 100%! Del is a joy to work with and is one of the few vendors I can say REALLY believes in service after the sale. You will not be disappointed in his products or delivery. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Description of Work: Del came out prior to our semi-custom home being completed. He arrived right on time with samples in hand and assisted us with material and color choices that worked out just great in every room of the house. For instance, we wanted room darkening and energy conserving features in the bedrooms. He had exactly what we needed, etc.
