I am writing this review with a clear head, not angry. It is completely truthful and not exaggerated. I have given the owner adequate time to contact me and rectify the issues, but his silence tells me that he is not as professional as he originally lead me to believe. Let me explain the job first: I want two fabricated wooden columns that are stained a white/grey wash that will serve as a border to a brick wall. Also, a wooden plank ceiling with the same stain. Total cost $2500- $3000 dollars. Bid was reasonable; similar to others. He usually works with crown molding only but sounded confident that he could do the job. At first, Jeff was very polite over the phone. He seemed knowledgeable and highly motivated to perform the necessary work. He did arrive 20 min late to our first meeting, however our house can be difficult to find, so I did not hold that against him. Immediately following that, Jeff was somewhat attentive to my calls and email, I'd rate communication a 8/10. He was late to all subsequent meetings. Dropped off unstained wood samples that I could choose from so as to select a final material. The BIG problem came to when he asked me to find stain samples that he could then duplicate. I went to Arizona Hardwood company (flooring store) to pick out wood stains that matched my taste. Found 3 samples. Decided on 1 final stain. Gave the sample to Jeff so that he could fabricate and quot;mock stainsand quot; so that I could approve of the expected final result. ZERO communication after that. Once he got the sample, he never called, never returned messages or emails. I have for the past month and half left multiple emails and messages at both of his offices for him or his wife, Heather, to call me. I was polite and just wanted to move forward with the job. At one pt, I finally spoke with Heather and she apologized and said he would call. Said he was busy with work, which is no excuse for abandoning a client. 2 weeks later, nothing. At that point, I was getting a call from AZ Hardwood asking for their samples back. I contacted Jeff asking for the sample, and mentioning that even if we do not move forward with the work, I still need the sample back. No answer to any of my polite requests. I even told him that I'd drive out to his location and pick it up. No answer. I have returned 2 of the 3 samples back to AZ Hardwood. They will not be getting the 3rd. They said they will order a new one; which they shouldn't have to. Communication is very important in business. This company has none. Would strongly recommend finding a DIFFERENT company. Very poor customer service. Zero excuses for treating me this way as I am very polite and patient. I am interested in any response that they may have to this post. To Jeff: Our conversation about your business being slow and struggling may not be attributed to the recession but rather due to your lack of professionalism and communication skills. This could have been a very good referral for you as I live in a semi-custom neighborhood. It's unfortunate this didn't work out. -Frank

Based on the work the installers do, this review deserves an "A". However, communication with the owners was lacking and caused some real scheduling headaches. We have used them in the past and have referred them as well, but this time there were a lot of "hiccups" as the owner referred to them. However....the actual installation crew did their usual meticulous job. They are true craftsmen and really care about their work. They cleaned up perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the job itself.

From the quote process through job itself, they exceeded our expectations. we even had an issue afterwards and as they promised, they were out soon after i contacted them and did more than i expected frankly.

We had new flooring installed and wanted to upgrade our baseboard. We checked for references with neighbors that had similar work done . They highly recommended The Crown Moulding Co. We looked at their crown molding and found it to be perfectly done. We made an appointment with Jeff. He arrived exactly on time, explained what he thought was the best way to proceed and provided an estimate. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, clean and impressive. They really do it right as they install the baseboard first, caulk as necessary, fill nail holes then paint last. This process puts more pressure on the painter but results in a better looking baseboard finish. We did not use Jeff because the flooring installers offered to also install the baseboard. Our house was a mess and they installed the baseboard immediately, while Jeff was booked for at least a week or more and we wanted to get it all done ASAP. However, while the flooring installers did a good job, it was not as good as the baseboard Jeff installed in our neighbors homes. I feel you will be very pleased with his work.

This is a great company with really wonderful people. The job was done in the best way possible. The workers were very pleasant to deal with, especially Brandon. The owner, Jeff Tuttle, even came out on a Saturday to help since the job was taking longer than planned (not unusual). To give you a sense of the professionalism of this company, Brandon came out after our blinds were in to do a custom fitting of a base moulding around a support for the blinds.

Everything went very well. Exactly as scheduled. Nice crew. I would use this company again.

This company is amazing. If you are thinking of adding Crown Moulding to your home you have to call this company. The cost was amazing and the work was even more amazing . I am a very picky person and boy was I pleased. My job was done in 2 separate appointments because the product for my dining room was mot acceptable to the installer. Think about that..... They didn't just put up inferior product to get the job off their books.... They rescheduled and did it right. Sadly we don't see this too often anymore. If I could make 1 suggestion to this company .... The Tucson address could be confusing... I asked when I called if they were in Tucson and they are not. Local and great.... Can't say enough GOOD things about them. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

This is a top notch provider in every aspect. Professional, courteous, quality drives, customer focused and easy to do business with. I had crown moulding installed throughout my house. The job took 3 days to complete and the installers did an outstanding job. I was very impressed by the high quality of work they did and would easily recommend them for crown moulding installations to anyone. Crews showed up on time every day, they tried their best to be non disruptive to the homeowner and they were enjoyable to be around. An added bonus was every single worker spoke perfect english so communication was a breeze. Any concerns or issues I had with the painting were immediately addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. Many people have visited my house since the install and all wanted to know who did the work because they too were impressed with the quality.

Jeff was right on time with the estimate and crown moulding installation. Very professional throughout. The crown moulding installation looks great. Painting the crown moulding any color is included. We were only required to supply some wall paint if some touchup was required Excellant cleanup. Would highly recommend The Crown Moulding Co. to anyone interested.

The sales person was on time and very helpful. The carpenters were excellent. i did not have any problems with this company, and plan to have more molding installed soon.

Process from the initial quote to final installation was very professional. Pricing was competitive, quality of work was great and the owner followed up to make sure we were satisfied. we are 100% satisfied. Great job!

The installers came on time. They covered carpet and installed the moulding. They did a very good job and we are happy with the outcome. They took the extra time to make the moulding fit just right. Great Job

The overall project came out beautiful. I like the way they are detailed in the workmanship that they were able to round out the corners which accented the walls. I am very please with the workmanship, the considerate workers that custom fit my ceiling and the owners. They started when the said they would, they painted the molding, did any touchup to walls or ceiling, cleaned up the floors and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I will have them return after the holidays to continue until all rooms are finished. The price is fair for all the work they do.

I would have them back in a New York minute, they do beautiful work. They were good and there were no complaints about them, I am going to hire them again. They show up on time and were able to do the job great even though everything is rounded and not square.

JEFFERY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB MAKING AND INSTALLING OUR CROWN MOULDING. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM IN THE FUTURE.
