The Butler Did It

He told me he was very good at laying tile and assured me I would be happy with the job. I am not! He did not do the tile work, he had some other people do the work and the floor throughout the house has places where furniture and people trip on the uneven tile joints. Some tiles sound hollow when tapped and others wobble. He made several attempts to fix some low spots, hollow tiles and wobbling tiles. Each time he did, he damaged adjacent tiles while attempting to get to the one he was going to replace or repair. After the floor was "done", the dishwasher was reinstalled without being anchored and fell out of the counter space and the top on the island was reinstalled backwards so the overhang was over the drawers and cabinet doors. The toilets were not secured to the floor well and the bolts were not cut off.

My overall experience was excellent. He appeared to be the most intelligent of any of them. He came inside and walked and saw where it was leaking and coming down. It was mostly along the side and that was the part he paid more attention. The house does have an addition, actually there is a wall. The worst part is the front half of the house. He came up with a solution. He replaced the front half and repaired the back half. He was the only one who had that kind of intelligent solution. His price was consistent with the others that Ii received so for. His quality of work is good. He was responsive, punctual and professional. If need be, I would used his services in the future.
