At the recommendation of a friend, I called Mike and he arrived promptly with samples and suggestions. I placed an order and it arrived about 5 weeks later, on time. Installation went smoothly. I love them.

Both the owner who came to show me samples, give advice and take the measurements, and the installer, were punctual and efficient and very tidy. I am very pleased with the product and the results.

Mike was professional and efficient, and he knew the product. I was interested in ( hunter Douglas) better than any of the other 4 companies I received estimates from. We're very critical in our household, but we love the work Mike did for us!

Customer service was phenomenal. They did everything they said they were going to do at a wonderful price.

Installer arrived on time, he was very polite and professional, was able to answer any and all of my questions to my satisfaction, and installed the shutters and shades I had requested. Installation was quick and painless! I would definitely refer The Blind Guys to my friends and family, and will use them again in the future if I have the need!

From the start Mike was amazing. He helped pick out proper shades, and saved me tons but the install was fast perfect and the left my place cleaner then when the came. Have them doing a bid for my mother and my office. Was very impressed and cant understand why anyone would use anyone else , the knowledge and honesty at this company is refreshing.

Mike and an assistant installed over $1000 worth of shutters on my sliding patio door. About a month after the initial install I needed to call them because two of the panels separated. The pins just popped out. When I got Mike on the phone, his first response was "that's impossible" and he insisted on seeing pictures, which I sent. He still kept insisting it was impossible and that it was somehow my fault. I had to wait a few weeks to get him to come out and make the repair. Other things were clearly more important to him than good customer service. Last month, the shutters broke again. This time one of the panels came completely off the track, damaging the wall it landed on - and chipping the side of the panel itself. This time I called Hunter Douglas. They were very nice but explained their warranty does not cover shoddy workmanship, that it was the responsibility of the original installer to make good. I told the representative that I would prefer not to have Mike in my home again because of my previous experience with him. However, she said that I'd have to pay for the repair if I had anyone else make it. Reluctantly I agreed to have Blind Guys do the repairs. Someone (not Mike) called me and scheduled repairs for the morning of April 29th - 11 days after I first contacted Hunter Douglas. Late afternoon on the 28th, the Hunter Douglas rep called me and said Mike refused to come out and make the repairs. Aside from being totally unprofessional, this meant another long wait to get the shutters fixed. They recommended another of their authorized dealers, who came out today. Basically, their assessment was that the install was done completely wrong. The headrail was off plumb and sagged in the middle, one of the shutter panels was cracked, the foot was too far off the ground and bent, and the shutter panels had not been measured correctly, just to name the things I can recall. They also told me that, in spite of the fact that Mike had told me these were wood shutters, they were composition and resin. My recommendation is that you avoid the Blind Guys at all costs. The repair tech also told me that his company makes a lot of money fixing problems caused by the Blind Guys, so I am clearly not the only one that this has happened to.

The guy came out to my house and gave me an estimate for $400 for house with 3 small windows. I ask another vendor for a quote and he gave me the same price as my big deal. When I ask if he would match the price and he said no and that the next vendor was not reputable. That was his excuse. The blinds were great but he only gave me one choice. The person that installed the blinds did great and I wold give him an "A". The owner of the company gets and "F".

Mike Levy was very personable and helpful in the selection process. The installer was prompt, cheerful and cleaned up after himself. We are very pleased with our purchase.

The installation went great. Mike was courteous and efficient and cut me a great deal on the initial cost. I also had an Angieslist coupon furnished by the Blind Guys that helped. The original install took place in I believe November or December of last year (it's been a whirlwind with the new house). The shutters feel excellent, and it's nice knowing they're under the Hunter Douglas warranty. I did run into a small snag due to my dog--he "ruffed up" a couple of blinds that I forgot to leave a little drawn and out of reach. I called Mike to ask him to replace the damaged blinds, but we soon found out the color was discontinued (Mike called seven different factories without result). This may have been an interior design debacle, but Mike went above and beyond and arranged for HD to replace all ten blinds in the room in a new color at no cost to me save the install! I heartily recommend Mike and the Blind Guys for quality window treatment. I feel I was valued as a customer the whole way through, and I would without hesitation use his services again.

I originally talked to Anthony on Tuesday Dec 23rd and he said the repair would be $55 to replace all 5 tapes. I told Anthony the blind was original and the house was built in 1999. I said are you sure because I don't want to bring this large blind in and then get surprised. He said he would check with the owner and call back the next day. When I didn't receive the promised call on Wednesday, I called back again on Friday morning and talked to Anthony. He said again he would check with the owner and get back to me later that day. When Peter called back I again gave him all the information and he confirmed the repair would be $55. I told him I would bring the blind in Monday. When I Taking the blind down and arranging with my son to go with me (the 12 foot blind sticks out the window of the car), I got there and Peter looked at the blind and said it was out of warranty and he would have to talk to the owner again. I said I didn't expect it to be in warranty and had told them both it was a 1999 HD blind. They proceeded to argue with me and say I hadn't told them the age of the blind. That absolutely was not the case, but I asked them why hadn't they asked me the age of the blind if they had based their pricing on the blind being under warranty. I left the blind with them and left and they called back within the hour to say it would be $125 for the repair. After spending all the time and effort I went back and took the blind to B&D Install, because I refuse to do business that lacks integrity (or is incompetent). Go to B&D Install...they know what they are doing, are professional, courteous and have lower prices.

Mike and The Blind Guys were great! Excellent service, prompt communication, on time, competitive prices, honest, straight-forward...we would absolutely purchase from them, again, and highly recommend this company.

Happy with the service, Price was pretty high but overall the quality of the product was good, so you get what you pay for. Very punctual, came out when he said he would.

Everything went according to plan. There were no delays, no installation problems. We are very happy with the quality of product and service provided by the Blind Guys.

He was slightly aggressive--came early but called to ask-I had other people there. It was very expensive. I paid him and told him I liked his product. I did not realize when I signed on, they did not sell draperies and rods. My error. Not happy though. The date might be off--it was right after I joined Angie's list.

Mike arrived promptly for the estimate appointment. We agreed on a price and estimated installation date. Mike periodically kept me informed as to when the actual installation would occur. On the agreed date the installer arrived promptly with all the correct window and door coverings. Mike showed up and supervised the installation. All window and door coverings fit and function flawlessly. Yes, I paid a lot for the Hunter-Douglas products but the end result was worth it. The quality and follow up service helped make my decision. It was a pleasure working with Mike Levy and his wife Virginia. Every aspect of our transaction was professional and up front. I highly recommend their services and products.

They replaced curtains across my back patio door with plantation shutters. It ended up being a lot more expensive than I expected. I found the salesman to be pushy. When they came they did not have the correct size for the balance so it had to be recut which took a few additional weeks. I have already had one of the panels disconnect, they did not seem to be in a rush to fix it but once they did it seems to be working properly.

Lack of contact was a misunderstanding on my part about where to look for responses. That has been corrected.

Mike Levy was knowledgeable and professional. He showed up on time for all appointments and had great follow up. I highly recommend this provider and will use them again.

All went well. Arrived for appointments on time, took measurements in a timely manner and installed as promised. Will use him again for for other windows in the house.
