Used TFS because they came highly recommended from my mom's neighbors. She had an installation a month before me when she was out of town. I was involved in both projects start to finish and at every step of the way TFS was clear with what had to be done, professional, helpful, and friendly. Installation was a breeze and in the end the we are fully covered with our energy needs (using net metering). We expect the system to pay for itself in 8-10 years. This is a good financial bet as well as my little part to reduce carbon emissions.

The TFS crew was very professional throughout the process from design, during construction, and through follow up. They did quality work, in a timely manner, and for a competitive price. I highly recommend them.

They changed our appointment time to later the same day and failed to inform us, which then delayed our inspection by 1 day. Otherwise the work was great

I checked out the solar companies thoroughly before I made the decision to go with TFS Solar. There were two others among the numbers of others I thought were reputable. I did have some solar panels installed on my house by a local company years ago. I can't say I am too happy with what they dd and their service afterward. The reason I like TFS is because of their professionalism throughout the whole process. There was no "hard sell" and they presented me with options and suggestions, and took the time for me to make my decision. I am particularly happy with the shade structure, which provided shade to the southern patio area on my rental. Installing this structure cost a little more, of course, but this eliminated the roof installation and perhaps subsequent problems with having to remove the panels for roofing problems. This is a wonderful company and I am just so happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommended.

TFS is a wonderful organization. They showed up for the estimate on time and took care in measuring the roof and reviewing my electric bills. They designed a system to meet our needs and took care to place it so it would be invisible from the road and other properties and avoided shaded areas. Given TEP's attempts to change the rate charges for rooftop solar, I wanted the submissions to be filed before June 1, and TFS made sure they were filed before that. The installation crew arrived on time and was able to install the system in two days. It passed the County inspection with flying colors. In fact, the inspector praised the quality of the workmanship and reliability of TFS. The communications with TFS were great. The office kept me informed of the process, progress of the applications and approvals and worked with me to schedule installation at a convenient time. All the people I interacted with were dedicated, professional and personable and very knowledgeable. It is clear that they all are committed to sustainability and to exceeding their customers' expectations. I would recommend them highly.

I received 3 different proposals for solar on our home in Oro Valley. TFS was recommended by Mellgren Homes (best remodeler in Tucson area) and their proposal was 20% cheaper than the most expensive option (largest solar company in U.S.). What I liked most was that TFS offered a choice of two different solar panels which the other companies did not. It took several months to get all of the paperwork done, but TFS took care of it. TFS employees are professional and good to work with always having a positive attitude! The installation only took two days and is a very clean look; no unsightly cable paths on the outside of our home. After the install it took TEP about a week to install a new meter and to let us know that we could start production. You can download an app or watch the system work online. Since we just bought our home we do not have a good records of use but hope that our 5.0kWh system is correctly sized; we were told that we could add up to 5 more panels as needed without any changes to the inverter. This is good to know IMO. I would highly recommend TFS to anyone who needs a solar system!

From the initial interview with the estimator, who climbed the roof, measured the sun angles, and then came back again to answer more questions, to the scheduler, who kept me up to date and wanted always to know my concerns. To the coordination with TEP for all the preliminary work, it was smooth, comfortable and professional. The work was done efficiently and the installers were completely self sufficient - didn't even need any water from me! This was an expensive decision, and I wanted it done right, with equipment manufacture company sensitive to the toxic nature of the design components on their employees, and the highest quality construction with the most comprehensive warranties. I believe I received that with TFS. There are many really good solar companies out there. I reviewed several. It was a hard choice. I think I made the right one.

I found everyone at TFS very professional. I appreciated the no pressure review of my options from the start. I felt no pressure to buy, and they even talked me out of purchasing more panels than I was planning based on conversations with other companies. I spoke to 2 other solar companies before TFS, and while in the end I think TFS was about $1000 more expensive, it felt right going with a local company that was not trying to over-sell me like the others.

TFS is always very professional. The system had been installed by another company but since I had experience with them from the installation of a pv system I was confident they would do a good job. He pointed out some items which he felt it would be good to change in the future to make the system better but there was no pressure to have that work done at this time. I will continue to use them in the future for all my solar needs.

It went well, for the most part. There were a couple of hiccups, however, they, TFS, promptly corrected the problems. Once TEP installed the new meters, and I flipped the switch, it started creating power. We are very satisfied with the personnel, the service, the schedule, and the product they provided.

The TFS staff are professional from start to finish. The system designer came out and explained the recommended sizing of the system and what the dollar savings per year would be based on that design. He also explained the tax credits that would come with the system. I had the option of going smaller for less money, but chose not to. The installers arrived on time every day and cleaned up at the end of each day. There were no snags for me to deal with during the installation, and no delays except for a half day of lightning and rain - not a time to be on the roof. There were options for locating the various meters and electronics, and they consulted with me at the outset about the choices. Everything went smoothly and the installation is very nice looking, but to their credit none of the panels can be seen from ground level. The office staff are also terrific. They made sure I understood what was going to happen and when, regarding installation, inspections, and start up of the system. They also sent someone out to explain the very nice monitoring software that shows the dollar savings daily on the utility costs. The whole process just couldn't have been any better, and TFS is really committed to what they are doing.

The basic installation was fine. However, the technician did not have the part needed for enabling me to monitor the production of the solar panels, so the installation was not completed for another 2-3 weeks. The system is working fine and I am very pleased with the work.

I am very pleased that I chose TFS to install our residential solar photo-voltaic system - they lived up to the excellent reviews I read on-line to help me choose an installer. All aspects of the installation were handled by people who clearly cared about the need to strive towards sustainability as indicated in their company name. All appointments were closely met and the work was completed quickly and professionally on both the mechanical and the electrical aspects of the installation. The quoted price was met exactly. A small problem with the internet connection for online monitoring of the system was detected by TFS as well as myself and the response to fix it was rapid and successful. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending TFS as an installer of residential solar photo-voltaic power systems.

Every step explained in detail and followed up with e-mails. Every employee was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable and neat. It is such an involved process and yet they made it seem so simple. We now monitor our solar usage/production on-line using SunPower Dashboard. Very pleased, would highly recommend them to anyone wanting Solar.

TFS was excellent!!! They arrived on time to perform estimates. They were quick with answering any questions on the lease pricing and even ran several different scenarios to help us pick the right plan for us. They were very understanding and accommodating about us wanting to coat our roof after the solar panel standoffs were installed. All of the employees were very professional and courteous. I've recommended them to several of my friends interested in adding solar panels to their homes.

All were very professional, knowledgable ,and courteous. There was a minor set back as there was a mistake in the original drawing of our system. This led to about a week's delay in the system being turned on as Pima County inspectors had to receive the corrected drawing before approval. Also, the solar panel installation was started a little after I had expected, but once begun, everything went smoothly and as anticipated. The technicians did a great job, cleaned up afterwards, always kept me informed of what was going on, and were accurate about the amount of time that it would take to install the system. They explained patiently how the system operates and how I can monitor the system and see how many solar credits I am accumulating. To me, this is a company very committed to their mission of providing clean, renewable technology for energy.

Very accomodating, they were able to first replace our leaking hot water heater and schedule an install of the rest of the solar hot water system for a couple months later due to their busy schedule. However, a time slot opened up and they were able to fit us in even sooner and we are thrilled with their professional installation.

TFS installed a solar photovoltaic system on my roof. They were very professional and the work was high quality. I was a little worried about the number of new penetrations in my flat roof, but absolutely no issues with the monsoon. System has been working maintainence free for almost a year now.

The install lasted about 5 days and when it was done I was more than pleased, they did very good work. I was most impressed by a workforce of installers who were all English speaking US Citizens as opposed to the standard illegal alien workforce employed here in Arizona. My experience with the non-English speaking Mexican/Central American workers is they generally do not care about their work product due to the fact that they could be working for a different company next week. These guys were professionals and they not only are good installers they have the best prices, products and they believe in green living

Things turned-out very well. I was very pleased them. They were extremely competent, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to deal with.

They did very good work. I had a complicated install b/c of a very small closet for the new tank and they worked with me to expand the closet area. All of their solder joints, roof penetrations, and plumbing was well done. The job took 2 days.

The promised 3-month wait for the commencement of construction turned into 4 months, but with the demand of other projects so great and all other aspects of their performance so top notch that I am extremely pleased with TFS for the highly professional job that they did. The unit is producing electricity as promised. The Oct - Nov electric bill was $7. Monthly bills should be zero until air conditioning starts in May. Thanks TFS for delivering as promised.

This is an excellent company, as a matter of fact we will have them out in the near future to do more work on our home. They were very professional and efficient throughout the entire process. It was a pleasure to have these people do work for us.
