Sun Tap Water Systems

JC came to our home, inspected the water connections and gave us a quote for installing the water treatment system. Our home was built with a loop and drain already installed, so this offered a simple installation for the water softener. We were able to schedule installation for the following week. Dave and crew arrived at the appointed time and performed the installation quickly and efficiently. The connections under the kitchen sink were a bit tight, but Dave managed to successfully work around the existing plumbing and garbage disposal to install the water filtration system which is connected directly to the icemaker and water dispenser in our refrigerator. We no longer need to buy bottled water. There is a soft water tap in the garage we can use for washing cars. The system works very well for us, and the cost was very reasonable when compared to quotes we received from other companies for similar systems. Sun Tap also offers to deliver salt when needed and pour it into the tank for us.

The Sun-Tap team was very professional and informative. There was no pressure to purchase and JC, the sales representative, was available and responsive to answering questions that arose after his initial sales visit. He carefully went over options, including the installation of an additional outdoor non-soft water spigot at the back of the house for watering plants. The installation of all systems was done efficiently and the work area was cleaned up afterward. The soft water system had to be installed outdoors rather than in the garage because of the location of our water main, so JC even constructed and installed a shed with doors to cover and protect the components while allowing access to the salt container. We couldn't be happier with the service we received.

I purchased the RO unit in December 2014 and this company has serviced the unit annually since then. The company provides excellent equipment and service. Staff if professional and friendly. Cost of unit and servicing very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone with the need for RO or water softner equipment.

Excellent - system installed in garage with spigot to wash cars with softened water; Reverse Osmosis system installed under sink, connected to refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser. Everything done as promised, price was nearly half of big-name competitors.

They came out at the one year anniversary. They are great, they are wonderful people. We don't have to buy any bottled water. We use the water from the reverse osmosis to fill our room humidifiers and it goes to show it is pure water.

We had major complaints about the buildup of calcium on our faucets, shower head, toilets, etc. The problem has been greatly reduced. No more having to buy bottled drinking water either. Great job!

Very well they explained everything and said they will be furnishing the salt as needed. I have already had them replenish the salt in the softener. Always on time and always very helpful in explaining how everything works.

Very good! The owner of the company was our first contact. He gave us a quote and spoke to us several times on the telephone when we had questions. He was always polite and accommodating. This is a family owned company who cares about their customers. It was clear to us from the very beginning that we were contracting with a company who would provide services to us if we needed them in the future. They were a pleasure to deal with for this job.

Rick was extremely easy to work with. When he came out to my home, he tested my water and assessed the plumbing previously done for a water softening system (a previous owner likely had a water softener installed in the home and later removed). Rick explained my options to me and helped me understand the best option for my home. I always felt like he was being honest with me; I never felt like he was hard selling me or taking advantage of me. Once I decided on the water conditioning system and reverse osmosis system, he came out the next day to install it. He and his partner were prompt and professional during the entire process. They installed the systems within a few hours, made sure they were working properly, and showed me the various functions of the systems. They explained what I needed to do for upkeep and assured me that I could call with any questions. During the installation process, they also replaced my water valves and a leaking hose bib (without extra charge). The week before it was installed the owner came exactly at the appointment time. He explained my options and made a recommandationwhich I accepted. He gave me a cost information sheet stating the exact cost if I accepted. I did not have to pay any up front money.I paid after the installation was complete to my satisfaction.

The company owner, Rick Bergin, came out himself to perform the service. Rick was friendly, courteous and professional as usual and performed all the work in a quick, yet thorough fashion. He provided tips on the maintenance for both the reverse osmosis unit and the water softener itself. He adjusted the settings of the control unit on the water softener as the water quality had slightly changed and finally he left us with a full year supply of salt for the softener. The company sends out a reminder once the annual service date is approaching. We are very pleased with the ongoing experience (the units were installed almost 2 years ago) and already recommended Rick and his company to other friends and neighbors.
