The provider made quick work of the faucet and proceeded to perform a free home plumbing inspection, which was included as part of the fine print that I hadn't noticed prior to the visit. He noted a couple issues or potential issues that could be addressed with my home's plumbing, but wasn't pushy at all regarding scheduling future work. Overall, it was a successful visit and I would recommend this provider to other Angie's Listers.

Had issues with the technicians calling my partner, instead of me, despite having asked the office to ensure that they call me as I was the one home to let them in. When they called my partner, he provided my number and they did not call. Technicians were on time, polite and did a good job with the duct cleaning. Separate technicians arrived to complete the furnace inspection. They were very pushy in trying to get us to purchase a very expensive, brand new furnace, and to use their financing, even though we stated we were not interested in purchasing a new unit, especially at the high interest rate they were offering. We have since had our furnace re-inspected by another company, and while repairs were needed, the repairs were at a significantly lower rate than the purchase of a new unit.

They checked out the unit and it was working fine. They offered a maintenance plan which we are going to use.

He fixed it but billed me more than he said

Jeremy was great. He is very knowledgeable and he conveyed it so that not only I get an idea of how things work, but use preventive measures for longtime use.

First, this company keep you informed about the service call by email, text and a 30 min to arrival phone call. I so appreciated that info. My service person was Alex who was very profession, extremely personable, and cheerful. He offered to show me exactly what he was checking on the unit step by step, and he checked to ensure my filter was clean. I easily give Alex a 10 rating. How wonderful it is to receive this level of service from a company and its employees! I highly recommend Strongbuilt Plumbing and Air.

Excellent. Technician came the next day and did a thorough check of my A/C. Very polite and professional serviceman.

This is the problem: water heater flush is not recommended if you haven't been doing it regularly. I should have been informed of this instead of finding out when they got here. Some advice about my plumbing was appreciated but I could have arranged that for free.

Very well. Work had to be done in 2 stages (2 different days) which was fine with me. Workman was very professional and courteous. I recommend them.

Fine. $ 39 for the check, and $ 400 for cleaning my 2 15 year old units (that's a bit expensive for 15 minutes of washing a cleaning solvent over the coils). But I understand that no business can survive of making $ 39 house calls. The cleaning was their way of making a profit, which is a good business decision and proper. And I have no doubt that the units needed the cleaning which will hopefully make them work better and longer. They did also offer in that price a 1 year unit guarantee if one of my two units did break down. OK. That's a plus. Tonya at the company called the same day I bought the service from Angie's, and she set up the appointment for two days later. Not bad considering that the hot weather had already started and everyone was trying to get something done. Their rep. Jeremy, was prompt, knew what he was doing (except that the inside control panels are 15 year old and neither one of us could get either panel to do exactly what we wanted in multiple-time scheduling for energy conservation which may be a problem with the panel), and detailed everything he did and found on his I pad. Unlike another company that serviced my units for 10 years and always either found some part that needed to be replaced or towards the end kept trying to push me to buy new units, Jeremy did none of that. He clearly outlined what I already knew about the units, and also since the average use years for these units is between 18 to 24 years, he agreed that replacement did not make economical sense at this time. I've been in sales for 47 years, and rarely does a sales person admit that a new sale that he/she is proposing or even suggesting doesn't make sense. Strongbilt is a company I will keep.

O.K. I paid through PayPal and the guy tried to collect again. He was told by his office to collect the fee. I showed him my receipts I had paid.

Service contractor was very efficient & even found other problems & corrected them.

Everything went really well. The technician that came was excellent. He was on time, obviously knowledgeable about what he was doing and cleaned up well. I especially appreciated that he requested I take a picture of a part of the plumbing that needed repaired to ensure that he got the correct one while he was out, making for more efficient service. While he was here, I signed up to have him install a water heater and treatment system and he was back to do that in 10 days! I have already recommended him to others and plan on using him in the future if I have any plumbing issues.

Didn't send proper diagnostic report with description of diagnosed problems until I hounded them for a week straight--totally unprofessional.

John was very open and honest with me that even though the hot water heater was working and looked good from the outside it was just a matter of when it would fail. He showed me what it looked like from underneath and it was all rusty and smelled of leaking gas fumes. It is like 19 years old. I appreciated him taking the time to answer all my questions and helped me prevent an accident with a leaky hot water heater. I researched the cost of a new one at lowes and Home Depot when I bought the home. It was around 1,000. To replace it with a short 40 gallon heater the same as what I have now. The price is about the same and I feel extremely confident with John and all the knowledge he has about plumbing. He wasn't able to drain the heater but I was going to install a new shut off valve for my toilet but he did it for me. So, not only did I get my toilet fixed I got a good deal on a hot water heater and now I have a friendly contact at Strongbuilt Plumbing and Air.

Instead of service, the Strongbuilt representatives provided assessments only, followed up by two, highly polished sales presentations. We received no service. The representatives were very professional in their appearance and their presentation. However, they were clearly charged with selling as much as possible. We subsequently arranged with another company for HVAC service and will also arrange for another company to work with us on our plumbing. As a result, we're out the fee we paid for a year's worth of service.
