Stephanie Ybarra - Relocation Expert

I found Stephanie through an internet search for a retirement home in Tucson. We had sold our home in Colorado in record time and didn't have a lot of time to dally in finding something here. Stephanie made our search so much easier. She took my list of "must-haves" and fed them into a database that then produced a list of properties that might meet our requirements. On my first scouting trip here in May, she made herself available for the entire three day excursion and we found what we thought would be the perfect house and put it under contract. Unfortunately, on inspection it was revealed to have been plumbed with polybutylene pipe, so we backed out of the contract. I then happened upon a house on Trulia that had been newly-listed and asked Stephanie to take a look at it for me. She did so immediately, and took scads of photos, pointing out that her photos were probably a bit more true-to-life than the photos I'd seen on Trulia (and she was right - the Trulia photos were definitely taken by a professional who knew how to make the house look its very best). But we still loved the home and, trusting Stephanie's overall assessment of its condition, put it under contract sight-unseen. (I should add, she did also point out the drawbacks to the home - the main one I can now recall being that, because a lot of the homes on the block have converted their carports and/or garages into living space, there are often a lot of cars parked on the street in front of the homes.) When we arrived in Tucson with a 22' moving van and towing a U-Haul behind our car after closing on our home in Colorado, we were still few days from closing on our home here. We had planned to just park the van and U-Haul in front of the new house, but Stephanie was very concerned that a) it wasn't strictly legal to do so, and b) the U-Haul would be very easy for someone to just hitch up and haul away for themselves! So she went above and beyond by asking a friend of hers who has an industrial property to allow us to park the vehicles on his gated lot until closing. That was truly above and beyond the call of duty, and very much appreciated. Bottom line, Stephanie is friendly, warm, and very professional. We feel we really lucked out by being matched with her as our real estate agent here and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a home in the Old Pueblo.
