Starving Students Movers Inc

I have never been more hurt, disheartened, and disappointed that I have been regarding my recent transaction with Starving Student Movers. I am new to Arizona and I chose this company based off of reviews through Angie's List and trusted referrals from my co-workers. I trusted that the contractors would handle my personal belongings with care, consideration and respect.. Not only were my belongings incorrectly inventoried but particular items were damaged in the care of the contractors. The incorrect inventory started with my living room. They only listed a sofa on their list, however, my living room consisted of a Chocolate Brown, left facing sectional couch, oversized ottoman and recliner (all the same color), tall brown wooden, bookcase, small brown, wooden writing desk, 50" flat screen television and a chocolate brown, wooden entertainment center. The damages include: The sectional couch was damaged along the bottom as was my recliner.the oversized ottoman now sinks down inthe middle. Please keep in mind, this furniture was purchased in 2012 so it was still fairly new and was in my home occupied by three people. My master bedroom furniture (also purchased in 2012) was damaged with scratches on the foot and headboard, along the bedrails. This is a heavy chocolate brown sleigh bed that I now MUST use a bed skirt now to try and hide the railings but it does nothing to hide the damage to the footboard. The night stands (same color) were damaged along the face and bottom. The mirror for the dresser was also scratched. My office furniture was actually BROKEN (also purchased 2012) as it was dropped and irreprably damanged and not one word was uttered by the movers regarding the damages even though we heard and saw the 4 movers drop it. No one apologized. My dining room table now REQUIRES a tablecloth due to the numerous scratches and dents. The legs have actual gouges that a tablecloth will not cover.I don't feel like I was treated with respect and most certainly not my belongings.

We met them at the storage unit and led them to the house. After they unloaded the first batch, they went back on their own to the unit in order to get the rest of the household goods. When they were unloading here, they asked where we wanted every piece of furniture and every box. They were fast and efficient. All in all it only took them about 8 to 9 hours to complete the job. Other companies had quoted us two days to do the job. It was hot, but they just kept on doing the job.

It went very well, they worked a full day, we had a full house of stuff. Nothing broken or dropped. We had no issues and it was an excellent value. Definitely get these guys again.

Our schedule got a little messed up, but once everything was resolved they did a good job.
