SPEEDY GLASS

Told me I did a good job of boarding up window. If I just left what I did, instead of having them replace my board, I would save some money, which I did. Mix of them to tell me that. They came back a week later with actual window, which they replaced. Perfect fit, they fixed the framing. All is good. Good clean up job, too.

The service was great, and they did a wonderful job of walking be through the measurements over the phone. The installer did not even have to make a single cut on site. The ding on professionalism is not on the installer or staff in any way, however it is very disturbing in today's day and age when a complete credit card, expiration date and 3 digit security code is written down. You can easily have the ability to swipe on a tablet or phone these days.

They came out promptly and measured for the replacement glass. It took longer than they said to get the glass, but that may have been due to the fact that the glass was somewhat out of the ordinary. I didn't mind the delay. The quality of the glass and the installation were first rate. Their price was lower than another quote I got. I was surprised, however, that the 10% Angle's List discount only applied to the cost of materials, not the labor.

When I first spoke to the company I asked if they used OEM part and the answer was yes. They also told me the name of the part's manufacturer, which sounded like a Japanese brand (unfortunately I can't remember exactly what it was). They confirmed that this part would be the one used. So I scheduled an appointment to replace the windshield and the installer came on time. Prior to installation I asked the installer about the brand of the glass. The installer told me the glass was made by Pilkington instead of the Japanese-sounding brand that I had previously been told. He added that the car manufacturer - Mazda in this case - regularly changes their glass supplier, and that Pilkington is currently Mazda's OEM glass supplier. I am not sure whether or not this is true since I did not check, but my guess is that it's not. Anyway, I feel like they did a bait-and-switch on me, although it was partially my fault in accepting the service.

There wanted to help and to do the work in best way. There were flexible in design, and were it was possible, were ready change the project on the fly. The people were always on time and very friendly. They made glass size mistake, agreed that it was their mistake and reorder the glass without any conflict. To get glass door took about 3 weeks. As I understood their price is average for Tucson. As many contractors they don't work on Saturday and Sunday and after 5 pm working days, which is inconvenient.

I was very impressed with Speedy Glass service. We had two large bathroom mirrors installed. We remodeled the bathrooms one at a time, so the men made a total of four trips to our home - two to measure and two to install. They definitely lived up to their name...the first mirror went in the same day I called them. They were willing to do the same for the second mirror, but at my request came back the following day to install. The mirrors were cut exactly as I requested and appear to be excellent quality. The workmen were polite, helpful and professional. We are pleased with our new mirrors. RE: the price, I honestly did not shop around, so I'm assuming it was fair; i hired Speedy because our favorite contractor uses them.

A broken window was holding up my purchase of an as-is home for sale. I called and someone came out and fixed the window the next morning. It took them around 15 minutes to fix the window. I was very happy since the mortgage process could continue and I was able to purchase the home.
