A big thank you to Dan Thatcher and the entire team at Southern Arizona Roof Associates for a job well done! We chose SA Roof Associates after getting multiple quotes to address issues with the almost 30-year old tile roof that were highlighted by the home inspection when we purchased the house. While it wasn't the lowest bid, it was the most comprehensive, detailed, and professional of the bunch -- exactly what we were looking for. After some discussion, we chose to do a full tile replacement with upgraded underlayment given that the existing tiles were in poor shape and no longer made. It was a good choice and looks fantastic! The work itself went very well. While it did take some time to get it scheduled given the size of the job, supply chain issues, and their backlog, once it started it progressed at a good pace. The crew was professional and clearly knew what they were doing. Cleanup was done daily and was thorough, especially at the end. Communication during the work was excellent. Dan came out a couple of times and did a good job of explaining the process and answering questions. The few issues that did come up were handled quickly to our satisfaction. We'd certainly recommend them to all of our friends and neighbors!

From a temporary patch for the initial leak within 24 hours after contacting them on a Sunday(!) to the final roof replacement, it couldn’t have gone better. They cleaned up every day and completed the roof replacement in a week with their focused and hard-working crew. Job also included installing proper roof ventilation. Great job!

My new roof is beautiful, and I was so impressed that Dan came out immediately before it was installed - in the rain - to patch my old roof at no additional charge. I am so appreciative!

Amazing Service! I saw what a great job Roof Associates did re-roofing my neighbors house and all the excellent reviews they've received...so didn't even bother to get other bids. The manager, crew and office staff are all incredibly knowledgable and helpful. This was such a HOT summer and I am so impressed at how hard the crew worked hard and their great attitudes despite the unbearable heat. I highly recommend this company.

My wife and I can't say enough about this contractor. From the initial inspection and estimate to the completion of work, Dan Thatcher and his crew were professional, polite, and considerate of us and our property. We were promised the best roof possible, and after seeing the application of seven layers of material, we're sure we got it. The work began and ended as scheduled, and the crew were hustling from the minute they arrived until the end of their day, except for a few brief minutes when they noticed our dog had worked its way out of the dog run and they came off the roof to retrieve the beast. The clean-up was thorough every day. The roof looks great. Like landscaping or any other kind of repair, if it looks good, it probably is good. We really appreciate this outfit going above and beyond for us and have invited the whole crew back for a well deserved thank you steak. Excellently throughout. Dan, the owner of Southern Arizona Roofing, came out to inspect our roof after a windstorm had made our trees knock concrete tiles off. He walked the whole roof, and soon after, presented online a very detailed description of what needed fixing and a cost to do so. We were able to do online signature and make a contract, all online and all very easy on a great website. As ours was a repair, it was not hard scheduled, but was as time permits. We had a few weeks of waiting, then a phone call from the office setting a schedule, and then Ben and his helper came out on that schedule. The two of them were wonderfully professional and hard working on our roof in August in Arizona, where it was 102 degrees. Ben had even found and brought out replacement roof tiles that closely color matched our 25 year old damaged ones. All our contracted work was done, and Ben saw another area that was a problem and fixed it as well, which was above and beyond. After work was complete, all broken tiles and other debris was cleaned off the roof and off the ground around our house. Could not be happier with Southern Arizona Roofing, an excellent company with most excellent personnel.

I just bought a home that needed roof repair. The owner decided to have Arizona Roof Associates to do the much needed roof work. The outcome could not have been better. The roof is BEAUTIFUL and I look forward to working with this company in the near future to install a sun light. They are reliable and professional in every way.

Dan and crew were very professional and accomodating. We had an issue with the replacement tiles and Dan went out of his way to make it right. We're very happy with the quality of the work. They found and fixed a bunch of the builder's mistakes.

They were excellent. The crew was courteous and left the job site clean. A couple of neighbors commented on how efficiently they worked! We paid a little more, but it was well worth it!!

It was a fairly substantial and complicated job that included significant repairs/replacement of roofing tile, underlayment, fascia and some roof decking. Dan and his crew were professional in every way. They always showed up on time, kept the worksite clean, involved me in each step of the process and demonstrated an absolute commitment to DO THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! I feel like I got the best results possible. In my opinion, Dan and his crew have earned the highest customer satisfaction rating available for their sterling efforts at my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing shoddy work and code violations from the original installation on the roof. It is very unfortunate that the original “premier” home builder that constructed my home in 2004 does not embrace the level of craftsmanship or the commitment to doing the job the right way … the first time as Dan and his crew demonstrated on my home – if he had, my roof would likely have lasted another 10+ years before requiring replacement. This builder is still actively building homes in the Oro Valley and Tucson market today, and as such, I believe Southern Arizona Roof Associates will likely have continuing opportunities for major roof repair jobs for years to come. Dan, the owner, was very impressive and provided detailed feedback on his inspection. Better and even more impressive, he directed me to another company that would be better to address the kind of roofing system I have (vs. sell me a more expensive solution form his company - sort of like the Santa at Macy's in the movie Miracle on 34th street). Very refreshing that Dan was a client advocate in this transaction! Would definitely recommend to others.
