Retained Southern AZ Rain Gutters Inc (SARG) for installation of a 1,500-gallon Poly-Mart tank and two separate runs from two scuppers totaling around 100 linear feet of 8” tubing to capture approximately 600 gallons during a 1-inch rainfall (Capturing water from 1K square foot roof area). Within 1-2 days of reaching out to SARG, Lou was on site to assess my plan. Lou was patient, knowledgably and thorough. Lou did return an additional time following some revisions to ensure we were all on the same page, always on time and a class act. After solidifying our requirements, contract was signed, and production began. Our critical path required the tank be delivered weeks in advance of the scheduled install to support another project that would become an obstacle. Mariano the Program Manager delivered the tank, no questions asked to support our timeline. As we closed in on install, Mariano kept us abreast via text – he never left me wondering what step was scheduled next. Jesus and Caleb arrived on time for install – installation could not have gone better. Absolute professionals, thorough and exact on alignments and ensuring the location of the inlets and overflow valve / pop up placement met our expectations. They cleaned up all materials and left the yard as they found it. SARG did a fantastic job, and I COULD NOT be more pleased. A couple tips that may help you help yourself. If you intend to install a rain harvest system, do your research, take the Watershed Management Group’s 3-hour class, which is required to apply for your rebate. I am not saying SARG is costly, but you are paying for great service, sound install & support. Know your plan, understand your measurements, your expected rain capture expectation, where you are collecting water from, where your overflow will be placed in the yard, where your tank will be placed, does your desired tank size meet your needs, is it too big / too small. SARG will help you ‘figure it out’ but be an “educated / informed consumer” – it will make the process much more enjoyable. I read some negative reviews on stupid stuff like suggesting they “Didn’t have an exact color to match my house?” Go buy your house paint and ask them to use it! Be part of the solution not part of the problem. It’s my review that this company will do everything they can to help you achieve a successful installation – but it involves the customer having some level of understanding of what it is they are buying. Great company, great staff, great experience – highly recommended!

Tyler came out and did our estimate, he was extremely helpful! He took the time to find out our goals with rainwater harvesting and was able to find a a plan that worked for our home. We 100% recommend! Great and very prompt customer service!

Southern Arizona Rain gutters workers they might be; however, if they have to deal with your masonry, pavers, brick, or concrete to get the gutter job done, forget it. They admitted that they are gutter installers and do not have the tools or equipment to repair the rest. Unfortunately, they admitted this only after they made a mess at my home. It took over 60 days for them to come back and finally complete the job. They only seemed to take notice and offered to come back after I notified them that I had contacted an attorney about the floor's damage and dangerous condition after they installed underground drainage. There is nothing they can say to excuse not coming back days after they started the gutter job since I notified them about the patio the day after their office personnel said they were done with the gutter job. It took five appointments, five different workers, multiple calls, and multiple emails. They finally brought in a second company to repair damage to the patio floor. Stay away from this company; they will promise a great deal and make their incompetence look like you are the problem. If they attempt to refute anything I have posted, I am willing to share all the evidence with anyone that needs proof. Just do not use this company, I am sure there are others that will do a better job of taking responsibility for the mess or damage they cause to install gutters. This company will not unless forced to by getting yourself an attorney and thereby adding to the job's cost.

Outstanding! Everything about this project with Southern Arizona Rain Gutters went exceedingly well: from the prompt response, pricing and scheduling of the project; to the preparation and installation; to the cleanup after the project was completed. Everything was done in a timely, professional manner and the price was very competitive. The installers were very careful to not make a mess, protected our plants and water pipes and drip system, and cleaned everything up afterwards. During the installation of the rain gutters, the installers used pop rivets. They even took care to not drop the pop rivet stems. I could not be more pleased with the company and I offer their employees: Clint, Corey and James my thanks and appreciation for a job well done.

Great! They were able to do the work in the time frame needed for our landscaper. They were quite punctual and did the work quickly.

Everything went exceedingly well. Will have this company regularly inspect system and cleaning done. The workers we had represented the company very well. Monsoon rains have brought record rainfall for July, and our backyard is draining just fine.

Stephen came out and provided my wife with a thorough description of what the work would be and also provided a drawing where the barrels (3 barrels, 1000 gallons, 1500 gallons and 200 gallons) would be and the downspouts. A price was agreed upon and we were put on the work schedule. We had to move the install day back a week as our landscapers did not have all the work done before we could put the rain barrels in. The team came out and I showed them where we wanted everything and then I had to leave for work. They finished up the job that day. When I came out it all looked good (according to us owners who were not very educated on the rain barrels). Then on July 29th, we had that crazy hard long rain. The 1000 gallon tank was shooting water out from the seams of the downspout, but no water was coming out of the overflow. The overflow was also pointed down a slope to our porch and house. The 1500 gallon tank had water pouring over the edge of the tank and also coming out of the overflow and all that water was eroding the dirt out from under the tank. There was also a spot on the gutters where there is zig/zag with two 90 degree turns. Water was flowing over the corner of one of the turns like Niagara Falls. I called the company on Monday morning and talked to Randall. I let him know of all my concerns and he said he would send James out the next day to take care of the items. James showed up bright and early and I went over everything with him. We discussed what could be done to resolve the issues and I was satisfied with the plan we had come up with. James spend the morning fixing the downspout that had water shooting out of the seams. When it was installed, the downspout was sitting on the screen in the tank, so debris that wen down it clogged it up instead of being spread over the screen. The tank that had the water flowing over the top needed a 4" piece of PVC to make sure it stayed in the hole of the tank and did not move with the water pressure. The next day James came back and put a 4" splash guard around the zig/zag of the gutters to prevent any water from coming over the edge. He also extended the overflow of the large tank by about 5 feet to ensure the water ran into the rocks away from the tank. He then changed the direction of the overflow of the 1000 gallon tank so it went over the wall behind it and down to the trees and away from out porch and house. James was always polite and professional and my wife and I are very happy with how James fixed the issues. Randall was very understanding and listened to what I had to say.

Work was done on time and we were very happy with it.

Extremely well. The salesman came early (after a phone call). We walked the perimeter of the house to let him know what we wanted. He measured everything and produced an estimate and explained it all very well. I accepted the price and paid half down Appointment was set for following week. Installers arrived on time and did a very good job.

Meticulous installers = quality work. Negotiable and very reasonable, very rare nowadays. Thanks Clint, Chris and John.

Excellent, fast and very professional

They know their business, from the estimate with a perfect color match (matched both the patio trim AND a different color for the house--per HOA regs) to the 2 guys who installed it on a very rainy day. They got soaked finishing the install, but everything worked fine. The cleanup from the trenching required for the underground pipe could have been better, but with the rain it wasn't easy to do, so we had a few hours of cleanup to do ourselves later.

The young man (Chris) came on time. Scheduling was easy with a phone call. He did a very thorough job - scooped all the debris and dirt out and then hosed them. Cleaned up all the debris and left the area looking nice and clean. Great job for a good price (others I had phoned wanted approx. $200).

The salesman was very knowledgeable and worked to find a workable plan. The final estimate was 20 percent higher than the other company, but I decided to go with these guys for a portion of the work. The first guys to show up to cut the gutter and dropped the tank in the driveway (which was not explained prior to their informing me that the install would be a few hours later), parked in front of the neighbor's house and started unloading. I had to tell them to move out of the way of the neighbor's drive. It was a Laurel and Hardy team, but it eventually got done. They unloaded the tank, gutter and accessories on our driveway and left. The installers showed up a couple of hours later. These guys were all pro. They did a great job on communications and install. They had to make a few on-site adjustments. but they cleared it with the wife prior to doing the work. Great guys. Great job. The office was to send the receipt later with a sketch of the work which I need for the rebate. It took a couple of weeks to get the sketch, but the salesman delivered it and all was ok. I will apply for the rebate and see how that goes.

They did a marvelous job. They do seamless gutters. I did the gutter in my garage and entry way and partially on my patio. They have a machine they use that rolls it out onsite. They are clean, don't make a mess, and are fantastic.

The rep. from the company was very nice and explained things well. He took a close look at our existing gutters and told us what he felt should be done. The next day we received an email with the estimate. The price was way more than we could pay and it seemed that it should be possible to fix our problems without replacing a long section of seamless gutter. We did not use the company and fixed it ourselves to our satisfaction.

We had a rough start with this company and gave them n F rating on Angies List, however we decided to go with them. They sent 2 guys out to install everything and they did a very bad job! I called to have a supervisor to come out. Chris, the field manager came out and was very disappointed with the job they did. Chris and another employee redid the harvesting system and a few other things. He even threw in some freebies. A patio heater was destroyed getting the 865 gal. tank into the back yard. Chris ordered a new one and put it together and tested it to make sure it worked. I would definitely recommend this company!

They had a sales person come out to the house. The only problem was that the sales person made a mistake. She had us put gutters in the part of the house where there was no drainage off the roof. We did not get charged for it but they had to come back and change the drain and the position of the cistern. It was just a lot of work and they did not clean up properly. The sales person was a bit on the incompetent side and the crew ended up correcting her mistake. They gave us a good product though. It was a good experience.

If you are looking for rain harvesting systems that are well thought out in terms of working together and hooked into existing landscaping look elsewhere. One of the cisterns failed on first rain as the lever was installed to release water not keep water in the cistern. I have hired another company to tie systems to landscaping and tie systems to each other so I am getting most efficient use of the equipment already installed. Finally, the half day seminar was disappointing in that they outsourced the speaker. The speaker could not answer basic economic questions that are critical to making an informed decision in terms of economic payback of installed systems.

Excellent job and price was very competitive with other companies researched. They cleaned up area perfectly and the work performed was excellent.

Our foundation had an issue, the grade away from the house was incorrect. Water was collecting in the foundation area for the long term, we have a small house, just 820 sq. ft. shared wall townhouse. We did a lot of work to fix the water on the foundation issue, changed the grade, and I personally installed buried drains going away from the house. The house did not have any gutters, so I called SOUTHERN ARIZONA RAIN GUTTERS in Oct. 2011 for an estimate. On the first estimate, they were prompt and showed up on time. For 90' of gutter, 2 inside corners, 3 outside corners, 2 downspouts, and installation (including all installation hardware) they wanted a little over $1,000 initially. This seemed quite high to me so I said no. I did some research and found I could have the gutters made by an aluminum company downtown for around $350, but I would have to haul it somehow. Installation hardware would cost me about $100 to $175, depending on the quality I wanted. I was just in the process of figuring out rental truck prices, etc. to haul it when SOUTHERN ARIZONA RAIN GUTTERS contacted me with a reduced estimate : $780. After tax I think it was around $850 or something. I asked what kind of hardware they used and it was the most expensive, top quality. I decided it was worth it to pay around $300 over the materials price to not have to install it myself and not have to deal with hauling really long pieces of gutter myself. They did a very good and professional job, I'm very happy. It has been installed for about a year now and has no leaks or anything. They showed up when they said they were going to, and were very polite and cleaned up nicely before leaving.

The owner came to our home, decided where the tanks could fit, sold them to us and left. He never went on the roof, did any calculations or measurements of our roof runoff, or asked the square footage of our home. He talked about himself for the hour he was here. I was skeptical when he left, but my husband thought it would be ok and we let them do the install. We now have an 865 gallon tank which overflows after 10 minutes of Arizona rain. It pours out the "inflow" and causes flooding in my yard and pool.This has been a disaster. I have tried several solutions and am now planning to have the tank removed. Working with this company has been a nightmare. I would not recommend them to anyone. They do not really know or practice the basics of rainwater harvesting.(I'd be happy to send you photos, but have to email them from my phone)

The first person that came out was really great, and I worked with him after they measured and finished the estimate to settle on a price. They came down from $1100+ into a more reasonable range (we had other estimates in the 750-850 range, but I really thought that first guy gave excellent service so I’m willing to pay a bit more for that). The installers came out the next week and were done in a jiffy – they did everything as we asked and my only ding there was that some of the edges on the downspouts and elbows were left very sharp and scrap was left on the ground. My real issue came about 3 days later, after the first hard rain, when we realized that 2 of the 3 rain barrels we had the downspouts coming in to were not able to handle the capacity – this was not their design it was ours – so I called back to ask them to come back out and finish off two of the downspouts to the ground – so adding approx..12 LF total (incl. 2 elbows) to what they had already done. I had to call back repeatedly even to get them to speak with me, and when they finally came back out they quoted $300 to do this work!!! It was outrageous. We called back and said that was crazy, and they basically told us that it was the price of the hassle to pull their guys off another project to mess with this! Clearly they now thought they had us over a barrel (no pun intended) and that they could charge whatever they wanted to “deal” with our small leftover potatoes. It was very disappointing to see how this company treated a customer after they did the job, and I would never recommend anyone use them.

They did a fantastic job, were very clean, and painted the gutters to match the house. I set up the appointment for a quote and they were prompt and on-time. Sent me a proposal as requested via email the next day. I was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of work. The first time they came to install the gutter catch boxes were bigger than they needed to be so they redid them withoutbeing asked and returned to install a week later. I did get an invoice that was a bit higher than the estimate so they matched the estimate.

When we found the part, taking 15 minutes on his weekend time, I actually needed two When I asked how much, he said no charge, "good luck finishing your system." I was in shock, amazed, and thankful for such a cool gesture of customer appreciation. ** Rarely do I receive this level of customer service with respect to the local resident, super highly recommend.
