From the first phone call with Robert to all of my furniture set up exactly how i wanted it in my new home. Smart Move has been great. The crew showed up on time and got straight to work and didn't stop until everything was done. The crew leader even walked through my home with me before leaving to make sure everything was right where I wanted it. 10 of 10 would use again.

Worst move I've ever had. Damian, the operations manager was very efficient trying to get my business but once I committed to them that was no longer the case...all his assurances turned out to be empty words. He assured me they would use a box to move my expensive memory foam mattress, that they would take apart any furniture necessary to move and reassemble at my destination, that they were professionals and highly rated, etc. etc. They showed up with no tools to take apart my desk and bed, no box for my memory foam mattress and a truck that was way too small for the job. I was only moving furniture from a 2 bedroom house. In the previous week I moved in my car all my clothing, linens, kitchen items, lamps, wall decor, etc and they only needed to move furniture. I even left some furniture behind for my snowbird buyers and even with all that and what I moved myself, they could barely cram my remaining furniture into the truck. And that is what they did....forced it to fit. Everything I own has scrapes and gouges but I don't necessarily blame the two guys doing the move since they were given too small of a truck to fit everything into. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will say that if Damian was my employee, he would no longer be my employee....it was a very disappointing move and leaves me looking every day at the damage done to my furniture. Absolutely no excuse for this type of service.

I thought okay until they unloaded the furniture and brought it into the house. My 2 year old master Bedroom set had lots of damage like nicks, scratches and gouges along with similar damage to a sofa table. Pictures were taken on sight by one of Damian Perkins’, the owner, employees and e-mail right away to Damian. I called Damian many times and sent several e-mails along with pictures of the damage since he claimed he didn’t get pictures from his employee. I filled out a claim form. When I would call I believe her name was Erica who answered would say Damian was out but would call me in the morning. No return calls. Finally over a month after our move he e-mailed me staying he was still trying to find someone to fix the furniture. I thanked him for at least letting me know. That was the last I heard from him. 2 months after the move I sent another email telling him I would start telling people about his lack of dealing with the damage. I thought he was a nice guy, but I was a poor judge of character. My furniture was damaged and he did nothing about it!

It went so great. Moving has always been stressful. But when you can hire someone to take all your property and move it and set it up (beds,desks,bunk beds) it is such a stress reducer. They literally took away my stress just by doing what their paid to do. They took care of my merchandise with moving blankets like the wood and glass even artwork was well tended too. I would HIGHLY recommend. 5/5 stars
