The anchors for our side gate came out of our block wall. I called Ronnie's in the morning to see if they could do the repair. They said they could and had a repairman they could send right at that moment. That wasn't convenient for me so we arranged a lunchtime meeting. The repairman inspected the gate and wall and said it would be no issue. He ran off to the hardware store to get some supplies. The work was performed while I was at work. When I returned home the gate was reinstalled in our block wall and was back in working order. They responded very quickly and were able to repair the gate in about an hour. The repairman's estimate was the same amount I was billed. The entire thing went very smooth. I have no complaints.

When I first called I didn't realize it was after business hours. I left a message and within minutes I rceived a call from Ronnie checking to see if my problem was an emergency in case I needed assistance right away. I didn't so he asked if his office could call me back in the morning to schedule a time for a technician to come to my home. They called back promptly and the repairman Shawn showed up on on time as agreed. He looked and acted professsional and went to work without wasting time . througout theprocess.This company understands customer service. Going forward when something breaks I feel cinfidient saying no problem I have a guy for that. I will call and scedule the door repair tomorrow. Charles I Highly rccommend this company.

The main door to my business was not closing properly and making a horrendous noise when opened. Home service dispatched Javier the same day. He determined cause of problem and provided a temporary fix until parts could be replaced. They were very prompt, and professional. I will use again for other maintenance issues.

It went smoothly...I had to leave at one point. They were very trustworthy and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner.

Most of the non-drywall repairs went well. Then he broke the under the sink water filter but gave me credit on the bill for the shipping charge for a replacement that I had to special order from the manufacturer. The drywall repair was not a good experience. The first general handyman put in the drywall (it was to repair a mold remediation problem in the master bathroom. He told me the job was completely done (I could not go into the containment area for health reasons and so could not inspect the work myself until a friend checked it later on). Not only had he not covered the drywall with enough mud (there were bare spots and none of the removed baseboard or molding was replaced at all). The painting was definitely not done. When I sent them photos, they sent in a different workman, their dryywall and paint person. He did manage to cover the mudding, the texturing and baseboard and molding issues. However, after he declared the work done, I found a very thin area of mud over a tape at the top of the shower and came off right away in a clump of paint, a dent in a wall that he had not fixed (they say that other workmen must have done that, and they may have originally caused the problem during the original mold remediation work, but he never told me about it or repaired it), and a gap between baseboard areas that was not caulked or filled in at all. Sent them photos, but decided to have a different handyman service fix those problems - Ronnie's had already had 2 chances to do it well and had not done so. They responded to the photos that I sent and gave me a credit for 1/2 hour labor given my decision not to let them fix the repairs that they still had not completed well. My bottom line - would not hire them again for any drywall repairs. They do not seem to finish the drywall work carefully but declared it finished anyway. For other repairs, they seem efficient and competent.

We had called him for an estimate on a project and found his pricing very high. We decided to go with someone else.

We only wanted to reverse the hinges on a door. After this was agreed upon when someone came to look at the project, another worker came out to do the work but thought an entire door and jam would be needed. Ronnies ordered the door. When the worker came out to install the door he asked, "where is the door?" They had not followed up with Lowes to see if the door was delivered. So he needed to go pick up the door which added more time to the project. Door was put in, craftsmanship was poor but it was originally thought by the owner that most of it would be covered by an Iron door (and the worker looked like he had something else to do and could not get out of there fast enough). Later when it was determined the door and poor attention to detail would not be mostly covered by the iron, we called Ronnie back. They DID NOT want to hear the negative feedback about the project. They were short, condescending and very defensive about their work. However, they did agree to send a different worker out to look at the door and he confirmed that the project was not acceptable. The other worker did a nice job of fixing the door up and making it presentable. The door ( which will not be used because it is to a back laundry room) and install cost as much as a french door that Lowes put in.

The final price I paid was way higher than the estimate he gave me. He didn't even inform me of the increase expenses. When I asked for a list of the items they bought and charged me for they refused. They even hung my door backwards and refused to fix it. The worker said he would fix it but the owner said I would have to pay extra to fix it. I tried contacting them several times and they refused to fix it without paying more.

Replaced faucet handle , repaired electrical plug and other miscellaneous items. Service was good and jobs completed.

Tried Ronnie's after reading Angie's List reviews. The company communicated clearly and promptly. They gave an estimate of $250 based on our description and photos of the fence to be repaired. The worker arrived in a timely manner, was very efficient, explained everything clearly and completed the work we requested. The bill was well under the estimate. Our only complaint is that this company is so busy that it took over a week to get the job done. Fortunately, it was not urgent.

The old vegas were rotted and We needed them taken out and new ones put in. Our neighbors had just had theirs replaced and We were impressed by the job that was done. They told us they had been using Ronnie's for their handyman services over the years. We got a card from the men who did the job and were happy to also find them on Angie's list with excellent reviews. We called them set up a time for them to come out. They came when they said they would and had the job done in two days. We are very happy with them and will use them again.

Came out for an estimate, described well what needed to be done. I called later in the day to schedule the repair. Repair day came around and they were a no show. I called and they just didn't have it written down. We rescheduled and one person came out to do the work. Very professionally done. Patched roof and drywall areas and suggested more work to be done on roof that I couldn't afford at the tiem and so didn't get done. Price ended up being over estimate by over $100, but the work was done well and is still holding up months later.

He did a very good work and he's prompt. He cracked down a short in the ground. He did a lot of work.

Called the service and they sent someone out within 2 days. Handyman arrived on time, worked quickly and was easy to deal with. He replaced the photocell on the exterior of my house that controls the exterior lights around my driveway and garage. Some of the stucco had chipped off around the cell. That was patched as well. Not a complicated job, but everything went very smoothly. Would recommend.

Ronnie is professional, honest and knows his business. If Ronnie cannot repair the problem, he gives recommendations of other companies to use. We would definitely use his services again.

I found Ronnie's through Angie's List and contacted them about my projects. They were able to send someone right away and after getting started saw that it would take longer than he first thought. We scheduled a return date and he came on time and went right to work. The insulation and windows were short projects but the kitchen faucets turned out to need more than just replacing. There was some drain work to be done as well. The repair man stayed though the whole job when I thought he would re-schedule. Even thoug he had to go for parts a few times he saw the job through to the end. I was expecting a huge bill because of all the extra plumbing work and was very, very surprised at how reasonable the entire project was. I would certainly Hire Ronnie's again - they are a true gem!

Same technician who did first light came back again; he was familiar with previous work. Again, work was completed to my satisfaction. He was here for 1 1/2 hours, but needed to return to retrieve tool he left above garage ceiling. The charges for work were 1.75 hours labor plus $30 for wiring, which seems a tad overpriced.

From first contact, the estimate and the completed work were excellent. Eric was the person sent and his work was outstanding. He paid full attention to detail and quality and importantly cleaned up his work area in our garage immaculately. The communication was a pleasant surprise as we always reached someone and they responded promptly. We will be using again as needs arise.

Contacted Ronnies Handyman to get an estimate for a revovation of an older home. Received a call from them the same day. Ronnie, the owner, visited the home the following day (a Saturday) and inspected the job. Due to the location of the home and the type of work that needed to be done, Ronnie said that I would be better off working with another company whose contact info he provided me. Ronnie was very professional & knowledgeable and I will certainly contact him in the future.

We had an excellent experience with Ronnies' Handyman and Home Service L.L.C.! I enthusiastically recommend them! Background We were faced with an unplanned remodel of our bathroom. The tile had fallen off when a member of our family grabbed the soap tray to steady themselves in the tub/shower. Fortunately no one was hurt but the tile that feel revealed significant water damage to the "green board" the builder of our home used. Anyway, the demolition had begun and I finished it. This started in August of 2012 And by Thanksgiving I knew I did not have enough time (or skill) to get the job done right by Christmas when my adult daughter would be home for Christmas and our second bathroom would be really needed. I needed Help. The Estimate After Searching Angie's list I quickly settled on Ronnies' after getting a couple of bids. I was impressed by their favorable reviews on Angie's List. I was a little concerned with their location with respect to my home, but they do business all over town. I contacted them via email, and received a call from Ashley. We were able to get a free estimate and I was very pleased she was willing to collaborate on the planning online via a Google Doc because I was extremely busy at work and was only able to work on the planning at odd hours. I had completed the demo and we negotiated a few points. The bid was $2250 The Work Eric did a masterful job. He was easy to work with. I found him to be reliable, trustworthy and competent. Our bathroom was finished on time and we are very pleased with the results. The Finish Eric was very contentiousness and diligent about getting the job don right; we had some difficult plumbing to rework, and Eric made sure it was all functioning correctly. At completion, the job site was cleaned and our old tub and toilet removed. The final price was more due to some increase in scope I introduced (drywall work) and some under estimate of the complexity of the job. In the end the total of $3365 was significantly more than I expected, but the costs were reasonable. Our bathroom is really well done!

very professional, responsive, punctual & reasonable

It went fine, the guys they sent over both times were very professional and courteous. When I sent my first payment in for the initial job we had noticed that the outdoor light wasn't working still so I put a note in with the bill telling them that. They called right away and scheduled another guy to come over and see if the problem was with the whole lighting unit and it was. He then had to dig up a good portion of the wiring to see where the problem was originating from but then once he did so and put a new lighting fixture and connection in he did an excellent job of putting the yard back together again.
