Description of Work: Our first contact w/Ronnie's came in August '12 when we asked them to quote several small interior remodeling projects, e.g., remove load bearing wall, expand master bedroom closet, and remodel master bathroom. The estimator did not arrive on the agreed time/date and indicated our quote would be completed and e-mailed to us shortly, e.g., within a day or two. Long story short and after several calls and e-mails, we received our quote 2 weeks later and was written in such a fashion that was extremely vague as to exactly what services were going to be completed and the cost (time and materials) that were associated with the services. In November '12, we felt ready to move forward on our remodeling projects starting with our master bathroom remodel, which we had scaled down the original scope of work. We contacted Ronnie's about our plans at which time they scheduled another review and estimate of our project. After meeting with the estimator on the scheduled time/date, we received a revised quote the next day. While appreciative to have received the quote as promised by the estimator, I was disappointed in the same lack of detail and vagueness on the quote as to exactly what services Ronnie's was going to perform, what materials they were going to supply and a lack of breakdown of the costs. I asked Ronnie's to resubmit a revised estimate spelling out exactly the services they would perform and the cost associated with each. I was told the estimator would work on this between Nov. 23-25 and I would receive a revised quote during the time noted (I made the assumption that I'd get it on Monday, Nov. 26th). Well, here it is the evening of Nov. 30th and no quote yet. I think you may see a trend here and caution anyone considering using Ronnie's that you may have to spend a significant amount of time following up with them and getting an estimate with which you completely understand exactly what services Ronnie's is performing and at what cost. I will add that my contact with Ronnie's estimator and office staff have always been pleasant and their quote(s) have been reasonable from a price stand point. I prefer spending my money on a contractor that is more professional than Ronnie's. In other words, a contractor that can provide a fully detailed estimate on the date promised as I have no time to babysit a contractor that I'm going to pay for their services. If they can't provide a detailed estimate on the date provided, what does that say about the work they'll provide?

Description of Work: They have done a chimney repair and a sliding screen door adjustment.

Description of Work: I used Ronnie's to replace a broken combination winow and again to install 4 floresent lights in my garage. I'm well staisfied with the quality and prompness of their services.

Description of Work: He worked on a latch that was installed on our sliding glass door. The latch broke and it was a really complex situation.

Description of Work: Both Nick and Keith were professional and proficient in the jobs that I requested. The estimates for the various requested work was reasonable in cost and I was very pleased with the results! I would use them again!

Description of Work: Excellent handyman service. There were a number of honey dos that I had fallen behind on around the house. Jim came out and provided an accurate estimate that was reasonable for the amount of work performed. Work was performed promptly and in a professional manner. New door knobs and hinges were set in place. New blinds were installed. New door sweep installed. A masonry block wall was repaired. Garbage disposal was repaired. These guys are good! I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

Description of Work: They installed new ceramic tile (we provided), installed a new electrical outlet and repaired some doors on our outside kitchen.

Description of Work: My front door and back door had some gaps in the weather stripping which were permitting insects to come into the house from the outside. Ronnie's sent a handyman to fix it. He had to buy new weather stripping at a local hardware store, and then come back and put it in. The cost of the new stripping was $14.00 and the cost of his time and labor was $49.00

Description of Work: I needed them to fix the inground lights on my brick patio which had stopped working.

Description of Work: They put a fiberglass shower basin in for me where there had previously been tile and flooring.

Description of Work: Very prompt, the young man was very polite, asked if he was putting the pictuers where I wanted them.I was very pleased with the man and his work.

Description of Work: They are highly rated on A.L. I called to make an appointment and the man showed up on the date we selected a week or so out.He had GPS so he found our house quickly and got to work right away. He added weather stripping to garage side door, trouble shot the kitchen faucet, wooden bed issue and a light switch, tightened a door knob and regrouted a shower window. He determined the kitchen faucet needs to be replaced and will return once we have selected a replacement. They will bill me so I do not know now about the cost. Will post more when faucet installed. He was professiona with a positive attitude and conscientious about his work.

Description of Work: I had several odds & ends that needed to be done around our house. The workers were great and I would use this company again, I have refered them to my friends.

Description of Work: I've used Ronnie's before and was very satfisfied with their quality work and especially their professionalism and friendliness. I had accumulated a number of miscellaneous odd-jobs that needed to be done around the house, so I went straight back to Ronnie's. The work that I had done included: (1) Patching, texturing, and painting some drywall that had holes cut out for the installation of a ceiling fan; (2) Re-hung a door that was not plumb with the door frame and therefore was difficult to open and close; (3) Re-mounted a towel rack in the bathroom that had been poorly installed by the previous owner and kept falling off the all; (4) Patched an area of damaged concrete in the garage; (5) Replace a broken caster on a portable AC unit that I have in the garage.

Description of Work: Building a shed on an existing platform. Installed two windows, one skylight , roofing and siding.

Description of Work: I called to have an electrical problem fixed, an old GFI outlet that stopped working in a home I recently moved into. Nick assessed the problem, went to ACE and got the part (it's close by) and fixed it. Since there was time remaining on the min. hour he repaired a toilet paper holder that had come off the wall and removed a shelf I didn't want in a den. I was very pleased with everything and the emailed invoice includes the cost of the part he purchased.

Description of Work: Serviceman examined situation, proposed a solution, and is working on solution that could solve our problem. He was willing to take on additional effort in this regard in saving both manufacturer and us money to effect solution.
