Rite Way Heating Cooling & Plumbing

I ordered and paid for it, but I needed repair sooner, so my son-in-law came and snaked out with a 20 ft. snake. That cleared it out, so it drained, but I kept my appointment because it sounded as if it would be more thorough as there was quite a lot of buildup, probably 20 years’ worth. However, he ended up using a snake similar to my son-in-law's but longer. I don't think he went in more than 50 ft. though. I thought he would do the camera inspection, but he said the filaments (or whatever) would get torn up in the smaller pipes of the kitchen and to run it through the bigger drainage would be a different problem, so it wouldn't be covered. Now I'm still afraid to use it much because I think there is still buildup in the line that will fill in again in no time. I said yes for would I hire again, but it is doubtful that I would.

They showed up on time and did that work. Then an inspection was given with recommendations made. We were told that these would be sent to us via e-mail but that wasn't done. We believe they were supposed to put dye in the toilets to check on that condition but that wasn't done. We didn't notice that was supposed to be done until after they left. There doesn't appear to be any trouble with the toilets, however.

As always the staff from Rite Way did an excellent job. The office folks are always friendly and the technicians Jay and Matt were great. They discovered a problem with my unit and replaced a part that was under warranty without any additional charge. They were very professional, friendly and courteous. They answered all of my questions. I have never had a bad experience with Rite Way and have used them for several years.

This very inefficient system was replaced with professionalism. The estimate that it might take as long as a day and a half to do the work turned into 7 hours. The installers were efficient, careful regarding my house, polite, and informative.

The work performed and recommendations made at the time of the appointment were great. Technician was on time and professional. Would recommend.

Excellent. When you look over the reviews this company has received, you'll notice a very high percentage of "A" grade reviews. There's a good reason for that. From the first contact through installation, I was very impressed with Rite Way. They answered all my questions, offered different options to me, and generally I always felt I was dealing with professionals. On the day of the installation, the crew was on time, described the entire process, and kept me informed when there were any changes to the plan. I love my new Trane unit, and feel it was a good very good investment. Also, the enclosed platform they fabricated for the unit was a nice improvement, and definitely worth a little extra cost. I have no worries about the quality of the installation, and would recommend Rite Way to anyone looking for any HVAC or plumbing work. Their recommendations and advice for our house were right on, and I feel very good about our decision to use them.

The service provider showed up on-time and they were thorough in their work. The guys worked on checking the plumbing pipes in every room where the plumbing runs, and they drained the water-heater. The pan for the water-heater was difficult for them to navigate; however, they figured a way to make it work - cutting a small area around the drain, without having to replace the pan because it is a smaller drain pan. The company associates were easy to work with and honest in their dealing with us. We will not hesitate to use their services in the future.

Very professional and efficient work. Ken repeatedly asked if I had any concerns and was ready to answer any questions. Ken also checked on a second water heater and was willing to go beyond the required service to flush it, but decided against it because it would likely damage it because of its age (probably a great decision). Overall, great service and a great technician. Two reasons for a "B" instead of an "A". Scheduling the inspection and the quote I got. We scheduled for 12-2 the first time and had to call the office at 2:30 to find out he wouldn't be around until 4:30. The second time we scheduled was much better and we got a call 30 minutes early saying he was enroute. The issue with the quote is that they only offer flat rate work and I wanted to figure out why one of my faucets was running slow. I was quoted $345 since there was a chance it could require replacing the faucet and a unknown amount of time involved, so they needed to cover any contingencies. I declined and decided to take it apart myself and risk it. It was completely fixed within 5 minutes of work (and I'm no plumber). I would've preferred the option to pay for an hour of work to see how it goes (or even have him take a shot at it right then since I didn't need anything else from the inspection). Their service seems great, but the flat rate work wasn't good for my situation.

Our A/C and Heat Pump systems were approx 15 years old and Seer 12 rating. For the last several years we had coolant leaks from the evaporator. With the cost for replacing both evaporators being upwards of $4k, we decided to replace the units with more efficient ones. We were in CostCo were we saw the Rite Way display. We set up an appointment. I did research to identify two other contractors (ACS and Alaskan Air and Heat) we would feel comfortable using based upon reviews on Angie's List, and BBB ratings. All three estimators were punctual, appeared to know their products and provided estimates on site. Rite-Way and Alaskan proposed Lennox 20 Seer variable speed units and ACS proposed Trane 18 Seer systems. All but Rite Way provided AeroSeal estimates as well (I hadn't asked for it from Rite-Way originally). I went back to Rite-Way and requested they provide a quote with AeroSeal Duct sealing. Their combined quote was the lowest bid we had (after including the CostCo rebate and cash card) and we decided to go with them. Rite-Way performed Duct Sealing on Monday, April 25th on both the A/C and Heat Pump ducts. The team lead was Dave, assisted by Jeff. Both were very professional and did an excellent job. The leak in the A/C ducts was originally 163 CFM and after sealing it was 9.8 CFM. The Heat Pump duct leak rate was 79 CFM before sealing and 3.5 CFM after sealing. Dave took measurements of the ducts on both systems to allow fabrication of the new transition from the A/C and Heat Pumps to the existing ducts. The next day, two teams from Rite Way arrived to install both units. Dave, Jeff and Scott installed the A/C unit while Jose and Lorenzo installed the Heat Pumps. Installation of both units were completed by mid to late afternoon. The installation of both Air Handlers and Compressors were meticulous and very professional. The systems have been installed for one month now, are very quiet, both air handlers and compressors. Except during the initial checks at installation, the systems have not had to run at high speed even with the >100 degree days we have been experiencing here in Tucson this last week.. Rite Way installs are in accordance with the TEP Efficient Home Program. Their pricing included the TEP rebates at their risk. A couple weeks after the install, a representative from the TEP program inspected the systems and verified both the duct sealing, proper installation of the systems and system Seer ratings. At present, we are very happy with our choice of Lennox 20 Seer A/C and Heat Pump system and Rite Way as our contractor.

I had a toilet which was intermittently running. There was a coupon in a mailer which was for $49 for a toilet flushing system rebuild. They sent a technician out on Friday 3/25/16 who indicated he was in need of a part and had to go to a local plumbing supply store. He agreed to come back the following week to replace the part. On Tuesday 3/29/16 the sent another technician out (Moses) who walked in the house with no tools or parts in his hands. He called me and said the problem was fixed. He explained the problem was a gasket which had fallen off. He indicated the parts for my particular toilet was like buying parts for a Mercedes, a good toilet, however expensive to replace parts. When I asked what about the rebuild and the replacement parts the mailer indicated which was a new flapper etc. He stated "This is considered a rebuild". I paid him $49 (because I wanted him out of my house) They did not complete the job as stated in the mailer. I basically threw away $49. Caution using this company. The coupon they advertise is obviously to get them there and deceptively "repair", not rebuild as indicated in the mailer.

Great! Mike fixed it by replacing a start capacitor and relay. Rite-Way was a 2nd opinion. The first company I called diagnosed it as needing a complete new compressor indicating that I had a direct short to ground on the current unit. Mike & Rite-way saved me over $5000. I will call them first next time

Rite Way did a great job!! They arrived on time, did a excellent inspection of the system and answered all the questions my tenant had. They also didn't try to up sale their service plan and am now considering it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for heating services.

Rite Way Heating, Cooling and Plumbing was truly one of the most outstanding experiences I had with a contractor in Tucson. The crew arrived when they said they would. Dave and Jeff answered all my questions in depth and with obvious expertise. I asked many questions while watching the progress of the install. When they left that evening my garage was cleaner than when they arrived that morning. I will recommend Rite Way and expressly Dave's team to anyone I hear discussing heating and air conditioning.
