Description of Work: I called R & R to do some repairs on my front and side doors. The owner answered and said he would come that afternoon because he was in the neighborhood. He did not show up. Then he showed up at our door unannounced three days later. He looked at our doors; gave us an estimate and said he would be able to do the job in two or three days, We agreed to his price and time line. Later, in the day, he called and apologized for coming to our home unannounced, and said he mixed us up with another customer he was planning to see that day.. More than a week has gone by, and he has never called us again. I am very disappointed because I thought I had found a good reliable firm. We own a second home have work to do at that house.

+ -1 moreRaul was outstanding in every respect...he contacted me immediately, made himself available for an appointment almost as quickly, and was very communicative every step of the way. I never had to guess status or other details--he kept me well informed and delivered exactly how and when he promised. Several hours of labor were involved, but his rate was very reasonable and he never once tried to upcharge. Added bonus: Raul seemed to be a genuinely nice guy and took great pride in his work...I work hard for my money, so I really appreciate that kind of professionalism in others. To be honest, I'm always a little suspicious with contractors because several have disappointed me in the past, with poor work, poor communication, poor attitude...but not this time! 5 stars all the way...I'm keeping R&R Home Improvements' card somewhere handy!

+ 0 moreThe project went very well. Installation was clean. Raul and his team were courteous and respectful of our home and each of us. We will eventually replace our front door and we will use Raul for that project too.
Description of Work: Raul replaced all the interior doors of our home and installed all new door hardware. At all times, Raul was knowledgeable, resourceful, prompt, communicative, and courteous. He has a tremendous work ethic. He has great partners (e.g., wholesale vendors for doors, painters) which enhances his ability to deliver. He is a very capable problem-solver and is dedicated to his customer’s satisfaction. Here's an example that demonstrates his ability to anticipate work flow and and potential complications. Given that our doors were painted, he suggested pre-hanging the doors and fitting new hinge hardware prior to painting. This minimized the handling of the doors during final installation. It was a great suggestion!
