Exceeded expectations.

Sam Collins arrived and in about 2 weeks had the pool and spa back to clean and running great. Since this was our first pool and spa, Sam took the time to teach us everything about operating the pool, spa, pump and heater system. If you have a issue or question, he responds immediately, even during the weekend. Sam is totally professional and provides outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Sam for your pool maintenance and repair. He does great work!

They are incredibly professional and thorough and genuinely provide great customer service. I have fired 3 pool services during the time I've owned this home, and intend to use Quality Pool for as long as they are in business. Even my father, who is rarely satisfied with any business, person or service for more than a few months, has stuck with Quality Pool since he first hired them and referred me to them. The weekly routine service includes all costs for chemicals so there are no surprises when the bill comes. I absolutely recommend them with no reservations.

Sam did a terrific job. Sam was punctual and his work is very clean and thorough. Sam made sure that everything was operating as it should and that I fully understood its operation. I highly recommend Sam for Pools and Spa repair and maintenance. My handy-man was at the house at the same time as Sam and he was impressed with his level of expertise too.

Sam was right on time the first time and almost to the minute thereafter. He is a really nice man works hard does what he promised and more. My pool has never looked better in the 27 years I have had it with every other major pool service in Tucson. If you don't give Sam a try you are missing the boat. During the summer months, my dad and his wife go back east, while we keep an eye on his house. During this time, his pool turned dark green and no one was able to get it clean. I received bids from several companies to clean the pool, and most recommended replacing the filter, as it was likely the cause of the difficulty in keeping it clean. Sam's bid was slightly lower than the other two companies, but that wasn't the determining factor in my choosing to work with him. He was prompt, professional and returned my calls quickly. He wanted to try to clean the pool without emptying it (the easiest method) because of his concerns of wasting such a precious natural resource, which I truly appreciate. He worked diligently to get the pool clean, which eventually needed to be emptied and filled with new water (due to things that were done prior to Sam's involvement and clearly beyond Sam's control). He did a great job with the new filter and even went the extra mile without charging extra when it was determined that the pool would need to be emptied. In fact, when we met there the last time, there was suddenly water pouring off my dad's roof (due to a burst coolor water line following a recent freeze at night). Although it had nothing to do with the pool, Sam found and turned off the water line and jumped up onto the roof to make sure all was ok up there and that the water had fully stopped. That kind of can-do attitude truly sold me and has me thinking of having him take care of my dad's pool next summer when they leave. I would highly recommend the service of this honest and reliable professional.

Sam performs or oversees all maintenance. He sets an appointment time and is pun ctual. From experience, his monthly rate seems typical or even a little less than others.

Sam has done great work for us. He comes once a week to keep our pool clean and our equipment up and running. We bought our house several months ago, from people who didn't do a very good job maintaining their property. Sam has discovered fairly serious problems with our pool equipment a couple of times and has addressed them before they turned into catastrophes. Each time Sam has been great, replacing equipment with high quality products in a very timely, professional fashion. From asking around, I understand that his prices are good too. Just recently, a pump broke, two days before we were supposed to have a large housewarming party. I told Sam that we'd cancel the party unless he were able to fix the pump within 24 hours. He did so with no problems at all. Our pool is spotless, free of algae and any other problems. Sam is great, and I recommend Quality Pool Service highly.

Quality Pool Service is everything we wanted in a pool service; the pool is always sparkling. He comes reliably and does a wonderful job. Our last pool guy was constantly at the door needing more money for repair after repair after repair; Sam does nearly all of the same things without ever even telling us. We have an old system, but he is super patient with all of our obnoxious issues. Highly recommend.

They showed up on time to determine what was happening with the popup infloor pool cleaners. While he was there he even backwashed the Filter, but was not able to make the repair until he could pick up some parts from the supply store that was closed for the evening. He explained the situation to my wife and even called me at work to see if I had any questions. We received the quote by email and scheduled for him to come back in a few days to perform the repair. He arrived on time, fixed it, and followed up with us. When people show up on time, go out of their way, and do what they say for the price, and follow-up....what else can you ask for?

called Sam after moving into a new house and had never dealt with a pool before. He came over that night to check out the pool as well as equipment. He explained how different things worked as well as what valves did what.... He is very personable and after a few weeks of using him to repair a few things and install a new pump seems to be very reliable. I am very impressed and would recommend him to friends and family.

A+ We were very fortunate to find Sam / Quality Pool Service and Repair! Our pool is 16 years old and had some wear problems. We called, Sam came out the same day. He gave a fair and reasonable estimate. Started work the next day. He went above and beyond our expectations! Sam and his helper Vic were very polite and concerned, really nice guys! Hard workers with integrity which is very rare these days. Our pool now looks and functions like new. We were so pleased we asked Sam to do our weekly service! Thank you Sam!

As soon as I called, Sam Jr. came out the same day to give us an estimate on weekly pool service - which was very reasonable. He immediately found a problem with our pump (we just bought the house) and came back two days later to fix it and start service. He did all this prior to even being paid as he trusted us to take care of it. We paid for a year's worth of weekly service and used our Angie's List coupon that they provided. Both Sam Jr and Sam Sr. have been out every week, promptly and professionally - they even came on the morning of July 4th - which was great since we were having our first pool party. We are so glad we found them and would recommend their services to anyone!

About a week ago the pool filter pressure decreased to almost nothing. Two other pool companies failed to fix it. One of them tried to sell me a new filter at a cost of $1,400. Every day my pool was getting more green and disgusting. One of the other companies recommended Sam and Quality Pool Service and Repair. I called Sam in the morning and he said he was very busy but that he would come over at the end of the day. Sam called around 2pm and said he was on the way. He immediately diagnosed the problem. The pool filter is 22 years old so parts are not easy to get. Sam happened to have the part I needed with him. It was slightly used so Sam didn't even charge me for the part! He had to fish the broken pieces of the old valve out of the pipe with a coat hanger. Then he installed the "new" valve and my filter was back in business. The filter is now running great and it cost me $80 instead of $1,400. I highly recommend Sam and his company.

I was quite pleased with quick response to my initial call. Sam was punctual at all scheduled times. Estimate was provided when promised. We agreed to go forward with the work and it was completed on schedule. No "surprise" costs as work progressed. Excellent follow up to check to see if customer was satisfied. Great experience!

We have been using this service for over a year. The owner personally comes and maintains every aspect of our swimming pool/spa. He is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, punctual, and a pleasure to do business with. We wouldn't have anyone else taking care of our pool and pump system. He is superb in every way! They are very professional. Great appearance. A truly nice person who is a pleasure to do business with.

Sam informed us the filter was leaking but said it looked like an o-ring. Since we were selling the house, we knew it needed to be fixed so we had it done. He had the part on his truck and was done 10 minutes later.

The owner of this company maintained our pool weekly with another company before starting Quality Pool Service. When he decided to start his own company, there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to stay with him. He is punctual and reliable. If we have any questions or issues in between his visits, he is responsive. He is trustworthy and friendly and very professional. He totally maintains our chemicals and pump. He makes suggestions on good products and is extremely knowledgable. We are 100% pleased with the service we get from this company and wouldn't use anyone else!

Sam is great. He is knowledgable and efficient. When he comes out to fix something it is fixed He know just what is wrong and fixed it. He even came out at night with a spotlight because we had a plane to catch the next day.I would highly recommend quality pool. They are quality.

Over the last year I've engaged Sam at Quality Pool Service and Repair to maintain our swimming pool. The pool is old -- built in the early 1970s -- so it's got its issues. Nonetheless, we have been very happy with every piece of work Sam has done. He has experience in the plumbing field, so has carried out some modernizing of our pipes and valves with excellent results. He also replaced an undersized sand-filter that just wasn't up to the job of keeping the pool algae-free in the hot Tucson weather. He drained and cleaned the pool surfaces and got rid of the thick mineral deposits on the tiles at the pool water-line. He put in a "DE" (diatomaceous earth media) filter that has solved our problems: no more green pool! Weekly servicing has been excellent and Sam is very good at communicating with us about how the pool is doing; giving us options and full explanations of problems and successes. He is easy to reach, easy to talk to, there when you need him and never pressuring us to buy products or services we don't need. His work has been fast and faultless. I trust Sam with our pool and expect to continue a long service relationship with him. (Not only that, but he's a real nice guy with a nice family.) Cheers, Grant M.

Sam Collins over the last year has been replacing all our pool and spa equipment. Now we have an automatic and energy efficient system. Everything is working perfectly. We really like to swim in our salt water pool. We can set the system in spa mode with just the push of a button on the remote control. Sam is very customer oriented. He shows up as promised. He also calls to follow up to make sure that everything is okay.

Sam is very dependable. He shows up as scheduled.

He has been doing this for over a year. He has proven to be extremely knowledgeable & reliable. He always comes on the days he is supposed to come. He is professional and his prices are reasonable. He points out issues that need additional attention in a caring way, without trying to sell you something. I have called him on last-minute issues, and he always comes to help and solve the problem. Without hesitation, we trust his work and his skills.

Our pool and spa, even though only 8 years old, was quite a mess after being neglected for the previous year. We had purchased a beautiful custom home with an awesome salt water pool, water treatment and super deep spa, as a short sale last December. We have owned several homes with pools, but had never had a salt water pool and spa with so many additional custom touches. Sam has been wonderful showing us everything we need to know about our pool and spa. He tried very hard to get everything going with the least amount of cost to us, but eventually we did need to address many things that had been damaged due to the neglect over time. I am happy to say that everything is up and running beautifully and we decided that he had done such a great job, that next week we plan to sign up for a year of service. He does amazing work, he is very punctual, extremely tidy and always professional and polite. This young man is very enterprising and we feel blessed to have found him. In this world of people that feel so entitled and do poor quality work, it is awesome to see that not only does Sam have a fabulous work ethic, but he is a genuine hardworking man and appears to be a wonderful family man also. We have been using Sam Collins at Quality Pool Service and Repair since we moved into our house. We pay $110/month for weekly maintenance and pay for repairs as needed. Sam is extremely personable, reliable, punctual and hard working. When a repair is required he is clear about the costs and what the options are, if any. We are completely comfortable leaving the pool in his hands when we are away. Highly recommended.
