I was all set to shell out big bucks to replace kitchen faucet & hoses due to a leak. Shane from Plumb headed over the next day, Saturday morning (they don't charge OT on weekends apparently). Not only did he solve the problem in less than 10 minutes, but he saved me at least $300 on the new fixture. He proceeded to also repair an outside leaking faucet, give advice on caulking in the shower, and provide some other useful tips and cautions. All this in under an hour--a great bargain. As always, Plumb Plumbing did an great job at a great price, plus they gave me ideas on how to proceed with fixing vs. replacing my old bathroom fixtures--a future project. They also took the time to call and see if Delta parts still existed form my old fixtures.

I have used Plumb Plumbing several times in the past for both large and small jobs with good results. They have been extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable in the past. However, as their rates are not competitive for small jobs, I occasionally use other plumbers. Such was the case last month when I had another company come clear a drain at my house. However, when the problem recurred, I decided to call Plumb Plumbing to see if they could provide me with a more lasting solution. I was disappointed. Two plumbers showed up, one a newcomer to the company and the other his coach. I support apprenticeship arrangements and am all for giving people a chance, but when things slow down because of coaching, I'm not quite sure it's fair to charge the customer higher prices. I wouldn't call the team that came to my house incompetent, but the end result is that they took twice as long to do the same job as the one plumber from the other plumbing company and charged me almost four times as much. Granted, some of this was due to the need to replace some parts that were broken in one of their initial failed attempts to clear the drain, but even deducting that, the bill is still three times what I paid the other plumber, with no guarantees that this problem will not recur in the near future. This is the first time I have had to pay any plumber separately for their labor and for the snaking of the drain ($86/hr for labor plus $110 for the snaking). It took them about 20 minutes at the end just to put together my bill. I've always felt that the plumbers at this company, while polite and competent, had a tendency to linger and ask to do extra jobs (while running up their tab $43 for every 30 min). This experience just reinforces that uncomfortable feeling. Although I will continue to keep this company in mind when I need a bid for larger jobs, they are no longer on my list to call for routine plumbing jobs.

Several months ago SW Gas moved my meter from my neighbor's driveway to the side of my house, in the process they cut off gas to one side of my house. A contractor friend rigged a good temporary fix and I got an estimate from one of Tucsons better known plumbing contractors: that sent me into a deep depression. A few months later SW Gas decided to leak-test my system--it's a fifty year old house so everything leaks--and subsequently shut off my gas, that was on a Wednesday. The same day I called Plumb Plumbing to get an estimate. Joey came out early the next morning and we went over where and how I wanted the new gas lines run. Unlike the competition, his attitude was: "You know what you want and it's code, we'll do it ." On Friday they had an estimate for me, on Monday they started work, Tuesday afternoon they were finished. They put the new lines exactly where I wanted them at LESS THAN HALF what their competition quoted me. It took for Pima County and SW Gas longer to do their re-inspection than it took Plumb Plumbing to do the whole job. Need I say more.

Faucet replaced and no leaks found.

It was very professional. This is the type of service you'd get years ago from your local neighborhood plumber that you could trust.

A friend recommended this company to me and they were nice on the phone and came out the same day but I was so disappointed with the service the plumber offered that came out. He was a heavy smoker and reeked and he could hardly breathe obviously due to his smoking. He kept returning to his van I guess to get other tools but he kept smoking every time he went back.....And I'm paying by the hour. He was rude about having to go on my roof to unplug my drains and then charged me a ridiculous amount of money to have my drain plug up again the following month. I learned from my mistake. Never again.

Excellent. Technician came out replaced leaky faucet. Advised me on how to tell if new faucet was leaking or if it was the dripping water on my hands causing me to think faucet was leaking.

I was very happy with their work. Showed up on time and did a professional job.

Phone response and follow up was lacking. We had to call several times to get it scheduled. Work was done in less than an hour but reviewing the bill later we were charged 1.5 hours. Maybe it included travel time?

All of the staff at Plumb Plumbing were great! Professional, courteous, prompt. Shane came out and took a look at the spigot. He told me what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He did it and that was it!

Great. They had someone there within an hour or so of our call, and he fixed the problem before the day was out. Also, the dispatcher (Jenny) was informed and helpful about the logistics of our problem and thoughtful about timing, balancing prompt service with avoiding overtime costs.

Plumb Plumbing did an excellent, safe and cost effective residential PEX repipe for us. Of all the vendors we got quotes form, Plumb Plumbing's quote was the most solid. The other quotes were all over the map. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Their price and schedule were the best. The install crew was prompt, courteous and professional. The PEX repipe was completed with a minimum of disruption. Included in the price and scheduling were the drywall repairs by Dimension Drywall. These guys are a class act. We've recommended them to our neighbors because all the houses in this development were built approx 20 years ago with poly pipe and the clock is running out on the poly pipe.

Andy came on time (actually nine minutes early), diagnosed the problem, and fixed it by installing a new cartridge and tub spout.

We had a new gas line installed for a barbecue. When Southwest Gas came to inspect, they found multiple gas leaks in several places to existing furnaces and a water heater. They turned off all the gas to our home. No heat, no hot water, no gas for cooking. It is near freezing this evening. I called the on-call "technician" for Plumb Plumbing. He said this was not an emergency and wanted us to wait until we could schedule SW gas and the plumbers to come together to our home. This is obviously a scheduling nightmare. I asked if he would please come to check out the situation...we wouldn't mind the extra fees. At that point, he said he needed to call his supervisor, since this didn't sound like an emergency to him. I asked if his company wanted the business since we were willing to pay for the emergency service call. He said "find another provider" and hung up the phone on me! He had no other calls pending. We are senior citizens without heat or gas at all....no understanding or compassion. I don't understand the positive reviews they have received. I would not recommend at all!!!!!!!

Water started flooding out of our toilet on Tuesday night which we eventually figured out happened every time water ran down any drain in our house. We figured that meant there was a large clog in the main line. After removing our toilet and trying what we could to unclog it with no success, we decided to call Plumb Plumbing first thing in the morning. We found them here on Angies List and their excellent reviews were well warranted. We called at 7:30am when they opened and they were able to have someone out to our house in about 30 min. He was very nice, able to tell us our options (best/worse case scenario) & got started right away. Very luckily it turned out to be one of the best case scenarios and he had everything fixed by about 10am. We are so happy with their performance & professionalism.

I hate leaving a negative review because they did excellent work for me 5 years ago, and the person with whom I spoke on the phone earlier this week to schedule the appointment was personable and professional. However, on the day of the scheduled appointment. nobody showed up, and I never received a phone call from anybody at Plumb Plumbing.

Invoiced under the name of "Sayne Plumbing", does only water heaters: Went very well. Prompt, polite, professional, personable; Quick and efficient. No complaints. Would hire again.

What made this entire experience so outstanding were the people at Plumb and their obvious competency. From the technicians - Andy, Bruce, and Jason - the front office, Michelle, and the estimator, Jim. Everyone I spoke with were pleasant, understanding, and informed. It was obvious that they knew their business and that created confidence for me. I was also impressed that Plumb actually answered the phone when I called. I was able to talk to the right people when I called. None of the typical "we'll get back to you" or answering machine during regular business hours. Communication was clear and accurate. Questions were answered without delay. Plumb did everything as promised and when scheduled. Plumb Plumbing was simply outstanding and has earned my future business. The Actual Job - I called Plumb after I noticed damp earth around the riser that is the main water supply coming into our home. I selected Plumb based on Angie's List reviews. I thought it could be a leak from a repair that was performed before we bought the house but also noticed some damp earth within a few feet of the riser. Not a gushing leak but I knew this needed to be attended to. Plumb sent Andy out to do the repair. After digging down to the elbow he found the water line was impossible to repair. Forty year-old galvanized pipe. The pipe had rusted and literally broke off in his hand above the elbow. The rust was obvious; the broken pipe a jagged, rusted mess. Andy was able to quickly run a temporary line and get water restored to our home until the replacement could be arranged. Andy was efficient, informative, and very reassuring about the work needed to replace the 64-foot water line. Full line replacement was scheduled when we received Plumb's estimate and after Plumb arranged for a Blue Stake survey. We were assured the repair would not require cutting through a driveway pad and city sidewalk. That was a relief. Bruce and Jason did the line replacement. They tackled the job with energy and wasted no time. The job was done in a well-planned and orderly manner. As promised, a trench was dug to the driveway pad and then the replacement line was tunneled under the driveway pad and sidewalk. The driveway and sidewalk portion was about 25 feet of a total 64-foot run required to replace the line. Bruce and Jason did great work and left our front yard in excellent condition. It was hard to tell that gravel had to be moved, a trench dug, and then backfilled and recovered with the gravel. They were very considerate about the appearance of our front yard.

Plumb Plumbing sent their employee, Shane, at an agreed time (the countertop installers weren't going to be done until around 2pm). This helped me with the logistics. Shane was courteous and explained everything he needed to accomplish. I would definitely use Plumb Plumbing again.

My toilet was making a gurgling sound. It turns out the flush mate vessel was cracked and leaking. Shane found the parts to repair the toilet, so I didn't have to buy a new one Overall I was pleased with the service and price.

Plumb PLumbing, and their man Shane, were very professional, on time, fast, explained the issues and etails for fixing. Also offered tips for preventative maintenance going forward. Very helpful!

Second time Andy has been to my house. He is fast, efficient, knowledgeable and a very pleasant person. Just leaky faucets this time, but I have an older house in an older neighborhood, so I have called Plumb Plumbing for everything from replacing all the fixtures in a bathroom to busting out concrete for a sewer line repair. I don't even look at the list of providers any more. I have these guys on speed dial.
