+ -1 moreThey did an awesome job. Initially the gal I talked to in the office said that if it was irrigation, that they would not do it. Then she said that they could send someone out but that there was a $60.00 service call just to look at it. Then she talked to a manager and they sent a person out right away without a charge if they would not repair it. THey arrived within 30 minutes. The technician assessed the problem, a rusted out pipe, cut the line and capped it off within 30 mins. They were great!

I was extremely pleased with both the quality of the work and the price. I will use Plumb Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: I recently bought an older house needed some plumbing problems corrected. I called Plumb Plumbing because of their high rating on Angies List. (1) Replace a defective anti-siphon valve for pool fill (2) replace a conventional valve with a "Pressure V.B." anti-siphon valve used to feed an irrigation system (3) add a cutoff valve and a drain valve for a line running over the roof, allowing me to drain the line in winter to avoid freezing. The total labor cost for 2-1/2 hours was $215. Parts cost $207. I used the Angies' List coupon, which brought the total cost down to a very reasonable $400.

From the estimator (Steve) who was punctual very professional and provided an estimate that didn't change to Travis, Mike and Ed who actual did the re-piping. They covered my belongings worked efficiently and cleaned up any messes they made. The city inspector came the day after the re-piping was completed and the dry wall repair. Well you can't tell anything was done. I would highly recommend this company. I can't say enough good things about them.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the work done. This came as no surprise as I have used Plum Plumbing for several things. I first came in contact with them when I contracted with them to do the repipe of my house in '05. They did an excellent job then and have done excellent jobs for me ever since. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs be they big or small.
Description of Work: I had water comming up from under my ceramic tiles in the kitchen. Jesse came out and inspected the whole area. He found what looked like a small leak comming from the cold water washing machine valve. At his suggestion a small hole was drilled in the the wall below the valve and a camera was inserted to look at the area beneath the valve. It was determined that the valve was leaking not only on the exterior portion of the valve but also in to the wall and that water was comming out at the base of the wall and running under my kitchen tile. He cut out a portion of the drywall and replaced the valve. He then offered a suggestion on a company to call for an inspection of the wall to make sure no mold had or would form. Something I would not have thought to do. He was extremely professional and clean. I mentioned conversationally that I had been meaning to check to see if my dryer vent was getting clogged. He immediately checked the vent and tube at the dryer and even climbed in to my attic to make sure that there were no problems with the vent as it went through the attic and out the side of the house. He then did several other small repairs (a leaking faucet, repaired a broken bathroom faucet knob, etc). He made sure that he had completed any and all repairs that I needed done and had answered all of my questions before he left.

It turned out that the old plumbing had multiple issues. When the extent of the work became clear the plumber who initially came called in a second plumber to help so the work could be completed that day.
Description of Work: Set two toilets and re-plumbed most of the kitchen plumbing which was inoperable or plumbed incorrectly.

+ 1 moreShane was patient, calm and polite. He knows his business. I asked him if he would share any knowledge about sewer drain issues in a 1958 home. He was more than willing to share that information with me and my contractor. That information was valuable because one tip led to replacing a galvanized drain pipe in the kitchen that turned out to be fairly plugged from corrosion. I received a complete write up of the condition an location of the sewer lines. I"m very happy with my experience with Shane and Plumb Plumbing. I will use the company again if needed. The price was fair for the service provided and the time Shane spent on site. Also, the one tip saved me future issues with the kitchen sink drain prior to installing the kitchen cabinets. That was priceless.
Description of Work: I just purchased a 1958 double brick home in Tucson near Broadway and Wilmot and am having some remodeling done prior to moving in. My remodeling contractor, Northridge LLC, an EXCELLENT company that I have used before (found on Angie's List), suggested that I have the sewer checked during the remodel when things were removed and access to drains easy. Like a rat that knows where to find the cheese, I went to Angie's list and found Plumb Plumbing. Plumb Pluming employee Shane arrived on time and talked to me about using the camera versus just cleaning out the line. At first I wanted to just clean out the line, thinking that the house was old and it must be clogged, but after talking to Shane I realized that putting the camera down was the only way to find any issues with the drain structure. The home is a 1958 with cast iron drains and I was concerned that over time a tree in the back yard might have gotten into the sewer lines or the lines had been plugged or damaged. Shane put the camera down the main sewer from the roof vent all the way to the street and then showed me the video, also gave me the video on disk so I could review it later. The video showed a very clean drain with only one small root sticking in. Well worth the price as now I know the condition the drain and that it is clay pipe as soon as it exits the house and is in good condition. Shane also offered to mark on the ground where the sewer pipe is to help me to know where not to plant trees and where to not put concrete over for a patio I have planned. I'm happy he offered this because I don't want to tear up concrete in the future if there are any issues. In the end there was no need to clean the sewer drain out.

+ -1 more(I have a 52 year old house with galvanized pipe plumbing, most of which is the original. Plumbing repairs are necessary at least once a year. I have used Plumb Plumbing for every repair - about 4 - since I first used them several years ago. I wouldn't consider anyone else.) In this case, the pipe was damaged in the middle of the night. I called at 7:30 AM, and Jeff was here within the hour. He was professional, courteous and competent. He was able to make the difficult repair so that I do not immediately have to have the whole plumbing system replaced. (When that time comes, I shall certainly use Plumb Plumbing.
Description of Work: Repaired corroded and broken off outside hose bib coming up out of the concrete. (Foraging javelinas broke it off.)

+ -1 moreVery professional job. They showed up as scheduled and completed as scheduled to iinclude water heater replacement. One reason I chose them was that my neighbor just had the same water line replacement operation performed and the plumbing company he chose cut through the concrete driveway to lay the new water line. Plumb Plumming was able to go underneath my driveway (same double car width as my neighbor) thus keeping the yard layout in its original condition once they completed and restored the yard. One unfortunate incident is that a rusted exterior gas line to the back of the house was unknowing broken causing a gas leak and preventing the gas water heater from remaining lighted. They were gracious enough to come back out to the house, get things squared away at no additional cost. Note: They did not replace the broken gas line as this was not used and would have been a waste of time and money.
Description of Work: Had to replace the water line from street to house as the polyblue line was starting to have leaks (house is 19 years old) . As they had to remove the water heater to obtain access to the main line in the house, had them replaced the 19 year old water heater with a new professional gas water heater.

+ -1 moreI called for an estimate to have the safety shutoff value installed. There were some questions I could not adequately answer and they offered to come see it and do an estimate. We set a time and as they were able to come earlier, they called to see if it would be convenient to come then. He (Steve, I believe) arrived at the time stated, was very professional and friendly. Took time to explain what they would do and gave me an estimate of $150.00. He assured me the time necessary to complete this job would be about an hour. This was less than another estimate I had been given by $50.00, so I set an appointment to have a technician come to install the handle. George arrived on time, he called when he was on his way and he also was very professional and respectful. He completed his work just under an hour, made sure that the water supply to the house was functioning correctly, asked if there was anything else he could. He left everything in an orderly fashion. He called the office upon completely my paperwork. I was aware that his interactions with the office staff was also professional and friendly. After he left, I had a question about the bill and called the office. That person was also very professional but warm. I was so happy to have this kind of service that I will never use anyone that is not on Angie's list again!!! (unless I know them...and then they will end up on Angie's list) . I can see why they have all A's...

Description of Work: When my house was built, they installed a new type of plumbing called polybutylene plumbing, but there was an issue with the joints constantly breaking. I had to replace the connection between the water meter and the house this company did a quick fix to take care of the issue, and when they were able to, they came back and did a more permanent fix.

He performed the repair within a half hour and then asked if I had any other issues that needed repair. I did need a gas pipe removed and capped underneath the house. He had that done within the remainder of the one hour minimum, so basically no extra charge. I'm delighted with the promptness and professionalism of Jesse to give me the greatest value for my dollar. I will call this company the next time I need plumbing service.

+ 0 moreThe repair man came on time and fixed the leak. He then lit the water heater and stayed to make sure it worked. Later it worked and then it wouldn’t stay lit. He vacuumed the water that had accumulated making the leak and left the heater working well. He also adjusted the drain in the bathroom one for free.
