Description of Work: This is the most unprofessional, unresponsive and irresponsible business I have ever encountered. The owner/project manager is a horrible excuse for a business owner. He is consistently late and unresponsive to calls and texts. He takes zero accountability for mistakes (and there are tons considering he refuses to take notes during consultations and interactions). Below is a list of mistakes and mishaps that occurred throughout the project. Wrong tile delivered Grout color not discussed and installed without owner approval Chipped tile installed Permit was forgotten about and would have not been addressed without client follow up Wall around pump built before client approval Pavers installed pre approval (in cement and had to be removed because client did not approve) Electric outlet requested at consultation and was “forgotten” (could not be installed without removing freshly installed concrete patio) Turf left on driveway spilling onto road (client had to get help to move it to be able to use driveway over a weekend) Team did not know where to install turf Gravel moved to front yard without permission (client endured HOA penalties as a result) Wall extension forgotten until day of inspection and had to be frantically installed All work is subpar Cool deck ruined by pebble tec installation ZERO communication/supervision throughout All of the above could have been avoided if the owner delivered what he advertises on his website, “Project Superintendent on site daily”. He only came to the site when the client called him numerous times requesting that he come to see the mistakes. Efflorescence appeared after (which we now understand is a normal part of the process) but the owner had no idea of the process and what to do to remove it. We had to call a separate contractor to assess what was happening. The last six months have been a complete nightmare. Avoid the stress and turmoil and go with anyone other than Pleasure Pools.
