Very well. All work done properly, professionally and promptly. Plumbing is costly but it was money well spent and I would not consider using any other plumbing service. Pioneer was recommended to me by a general contractor who has always done right by me.

We have this maintenance done every 14 months or so, since the water here is so hard. Pioneer has plumbers who are specifically trained to work on tankless water heaters (we called the manufacturer to find them). He checked it all out, and descaled the system. No problems.

The bidirectional cleanout was scheduled for a Wednesday but they were able to come two days earlier on Monday. The following week, on March 31st, I had them come out and install a new gas water heater to replace the existing 20 year old heater. The water heater is in a hallway closet, and they had to make some changes to piping and add a pan, to bring up to current codes. On both visits, they called when they were on their way to the house. The workers were different for the two jobs, but in both cases the work was done efficiently and well. I would certainly use them again and not hesitate to recommend to friends and co-workers.

They were very thorough and very neat. They put drop clothes down to keep the floor clean.

One of our expensive sink faucet handles was installed incorrectly, and it had actually been damaged to the point that no other plumber who saw it wanted to risk working on it. We have had it for several years and now have to address it by getting a new assembly for it. It has been stiff to operate, oozes some ugly stuff from a deteriorating washer, which looks jerry-rigged, and just by looking, you can tell it is different from the other four. We would have purchased another replacement faucet, but it's discontinued by the manufacturer. If they would have been honest at first, and told me that something was wrong with the faucet, the contractor would have had to order a new one and pay for it. Instead, one of the plumbers told me at first that the contractor's man had damaged it, and they didn't know if it would work. Later that day, they installed it and said it was OK. These faucets cost over $400 each, and they should have dealt honestly with us in the first place. They also had a heck of a time installing new tub/shower hardware, and made me question their ability by their lack of professionalism.

I've had Pioneer Plumbing come to my place several times. They've always done good work for me. They are fine on price. My experiences with plumbers down here in Tucson is their prices are pretty much right in the ball park with everybody else's. I think all the plumbers are too expensive here. They sent out a guy the same day I called. I keep a card of theirs on my desk. I don't bid out those jobs anymore, unless it's a big job. Just Normal plumbing repairs I just call them and I don't worry about it. They were here for...they changed me for an hour, they were here a few minutes longer than an hour but they only charged me an hour. They are absolutely professional.

It started a bit rough as I was expecting a 30 minute out phone call, but didn't receive one. However, things went up from there. The issues were addressed no problem and the guys did a great job, were very friendly and happy to chat about what they were doing and how to properly maintain the slow drain in the future so it didn't happen again. I was very satisfied with the price and the service. This company will be my go to plumbers if I need help again in the future.

After the plumber left and I flushed the toilet, it ran. He had left the chain to the flapper so long it got stuck and the water would continue to run. It wasn't too difficult to fix, but considering how much they charge for this, I was unhappy, especially considering I e-mailed the company about the issue and got no response whatsoever. That is what prompted this negative review.

Selected Pioneer from three bids from top-rated plumbing firms on Angie's List. Crew did a good job and had the line replaced in one day. After passing inspection came back and filled in the trench and replaced pavers in patio area. Overall very pleased with their work.

Cassius always does a great job. He was punctual, polite and fixed all the problems.

Perfect! The work was neat and tidy.

The service was very good, however, after cutting a hole in the wall, it was determined there was no leak. I then realized it had rained earlier in the morning and I had walked my dogs. Therein was the answer. Bella had laid up against the wall causing the wetness. My issue was not with the service itself, but the cost. Not only was a charged a trip charge, but a minimum of an hourly rate. Something I would estimate would cost maybe $50 - $60 cost $125. That's after a 10% discount. My thought is it was excessive. PS This did not include the repair of the wall which I did myself.

When I made the initial call, they were able to come out the next day to do the work. The installer was pleasant, professional, and capable. I was happy with the work and the cost was reasonable. Will definitely go with Pioneer Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Excellent. I had had two other plumbers out, neither of which had a clue how to fix it as it did not have a product name or number. Cassius quickly figured it out, went to a supply store for the part and returned and fixed it.

I wrote a previous review chronicling the scheduling mixup which was terrible and cost me time off work for nothing. But they called me later that morning and made arrangements for their on call guy, Cassius, to come by on Saturday for the normal rate which was helpful. He was very polite, efficient and had both pieces done in a tick over an hour. He discovered that my shutoff valve was stuck in the half open position. It sure is nice to have working plumbing again.

Horrible experience: Spoke with Renee on 6/22/16 and asked him when his next available appointment was. He said 8am Thursday which I agreed to and took time off work to be at the house. 8:30 comes and goes and they have not shown up. I call their office and they can not find me in the system, saying my appointment was yesterday. I did receive a call from someone stating he was on the NW side and could come by (which he did and left cards), but I was unable to call and confirm to make that appointment. Now I have taken time off of work, my plumbing has not been addressed, and their manager is too busy to call me back in a timely manner. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend their operation.

He arrived promptly, worked quickly, and efficiently. Excellent, clean work! I will request him again when we need plumbing services in the future.

When I called first thing in the morning Betty was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She had a truck in our neighborhood so she arranged for them to come to my house while they were waiting for the other work to begin. They were there within 10 minutes! Jesse came with a plumber-in-training, Eric. Both were very courteous and professional. Jesse diagnosed the problem and removed the hose from the wall so he could get the coupling that was lodged in the faucet. The hose was bent and potentially heading for a break. We decided to replace the hose and the sprayer to make sure all the parts would work. After everything was reconnected, the water pressure was still not good. Jesse checked all the valves and that was not the problem. He decided to take out the inner core of the faucet and it needed to be replaced...and the pressure was still bad. He pulled out the inner connector that was the main culprit. He cleaned out years of sediment and pressure returned. Jesse was determined to solve the problem and make sure all was in proper working order before he left. He was very patient and a good teacher for Eric. I was very impressed with both and will call them again, if need be. This was the second time we've used Pioneer Plumbing and have been happy with both experiences.

They removed minimal tiles to repair damaged sub-floor due to a leaky toilet. The toilet was improperly installed by the previous owner and leaked every time it was flushed. They remove as few tiles, as necessary to inspect the plumbing, remove and replace the pipe and flange for the toilet, repaired the sub-floor (the joists were not damaged), re-tiled the floor, matched the grout and re-install the toilet. Then came back to seal the grout. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them. They were very professional, courteous, and clean, They left the bathroom looking like new.

Job went exceptionally well. They were on time they were courteous they were very professional. They left everything well documented so the new owners of our home will have all the information. They were so clean everything was cleaner than before they came. They install new tile in the bathroom which is perfect. This is a great company. I would so recommend them. They do the complete job not just the plumbing. They retailed the bathroom where the work was done. We were given suggestions for painters. Iit helped us very much, all this and the work is guaranteed two years.

Cassius took care of all the problems quickly and efficiently, including the flush handle that 4 other plumbers had been unable to fix. Did excellent work, I was delighted to have all these problems fixed within a few hours after calling Pioneer. The company has been reliable on several past calls, and I would always call them first for any plumbing problem. They are a great resource.

The two plumbers were prompt and explained the job to be done before starting and then worked consistently until it was completed. They tested the kitchen and laundry drains and helped me replace the washer and waited while it went through a cycle.

I just moved into my new house which is over 60 years old. My daughter noticed that we had water pooling in the front yard after running the washing machine and taking showers at the same time. Given the age of the house and the fact that it had been empty for over a year, I was seriously worried about the situation. The plumber, Rueben, found blockages in the sewer line at both 20 feet and 80 feet. He had to use more than one type of clog buster and spent 2 solid hours working on the clogs. He also replaced corroded seals....I think that's what they are called....which should help prevent sand and dirt from getting into the sewer line in the future. I have no doubt that a less experienced plumber or one who is out of integrity could have easily extracted thousands of dollars from me. Rueben was amazing. He was extremely professional, hard-working, and knowledgable. It was obvious that he really knew what he was doing. He also took the time to explain everything throughout the process. Additionally, I called on Monday, the week of Christmas and Pioneer Plumbing had someone out that day. Rueben was at my home until approximately 7 PM and had another service call after me, yet he never gave me the impression that anything else was more important than getting my plumbing working.
