We made an appointment and they did not show up and did not inform me in any way.

We had a heating review and annual service check. The tech did a good job explained everything and showed me all the checks he made including the burner check. He was polite, friendly and professional.

I am not happy with this service at all. I asked for my HVAC to be repaired, told him what I wanted, and he did something different. He left before I could examine his work, which was up on my roof. I asked for this problem to be resolved, have the HVAC set up the way it was originally set up by your company when the HVAC was installed, and have received unsatisfactory service. Your service man was rude and said he was not going to fix it for us. As loyal customers who invested a great deal into our HVAC and support you as a local business, I am very unhappy and if this is not resolved, we will not be using your service again.

This is the worst contractor I have ever dealt with in my life. Repair was not done as instructed. Upped the charges to double what they should have been. On the return trip the service person was arrogant and argumentative and would not guarantee any changes. The manager would not return calls to correct the problem. Company was sold last year, and the new owners do not care or provide customer service. Spoke to former owner (you can't reach current owners). Promised to intervene and nothing happened. I am left saving to repair the damage. $100 job is now a $500 job because of them. I have spent almost $10,000 with this company and this is how I was treated. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

if you want to feel violated make sure to use perry heating and cooling or any other of the big hvac players for repairs or a new system. there is no competition between these vendors. the price collusion is obvious if you know what is wrong with the unit. the "industry standard" is not to break out labor and parts which gives them the advantage of opaqueness that would not be tolerated in any other service industry like this, think car repair. my repair for example was replacement of a condenser motor for a 2.5 ton rheem 14 seer unit. the cost of part was $200 which i was able to find doing extensive research on internet. my final bill from perry heating and cooling was $1,100 (including $90 service fee). you can do the math. i asked for a breakdown of labor/parts but they were able to hide behind "industry standard" how did this particular industry become exempt from accountability? i also requested a part number /brand/warranty info on replacement part which they have failed to provide. in tucson an air conditioner is not a luxury but a necessity. these big hvac vendors have made their own rules to the detriment of the consumer. if the consumer would demand accountability these folks would no longer be able to hide behind "industry standard" you have a choice as a consumer. demand a breakdown and you will see who is honest.

Very good and very reliable, been using them for 15 years, well trained and I will keep on using them.

We have two heating/cooling units and each were about 30 years old. We had another company come out to service them and were told that they should be replaced. Thus began the search for a company to do the work. We got several bids, and once we got over the sticker shock, we called Perry. Perry's technician/salesman told us that the old units could, in fact, be serviced and we could continue to use them for awhile; however, we decided against this move because of their age and their inefficiency. We were offered several options at several prices and found them reasonable when compared to the other bids we received. Before we committed, we did an internet search and chose the units we felt were best for us. As the day for installation grew closer, we received a few phone calls and they determined that they would need to bring in a crane to place the units, but there was no extra charge for this. In addition, they removed a cooler that hadn't been used in years, and they fixed the duct work where it had been. You can't even tell we ever had an evaporative cooler. There was no extra charge for this, either. Once the units were installed the technician showed us how to work the new thermostats and set up the app on our phones. We have been delighted ever since. We are now cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Our bills have gone down and the systems are very quiet. Many of our friends have some kind of horror story about air conditioning, and ours is a fairy tale by comparison. We recommend Perry Heating and Cooling to everyone and will continue to do so.

I was told I would be called Friday to confirm my 3 hour time window. So this morning (Monday) at 8:30am, I called to confirm my 3 hour time window, since I did not get the call on Friday. The (female) person looked it up and told me 9am-12 noon. I sat home all morning, waiting. And at 12:30pm, I called to see why no one had showed up--I pressed "redial" on my call from this morning. So I know I used the correct/same number. The (female) person said she does NOT have an appointment for me today. She did NOT talk to me this morning (someone answered that company phone and gave me the the frame) And she has a different person's name in the computer for this address (the former owner, who sold us the house 7 years ago). She said they do NOT do duct cleanings on Monday, only Tue-Sat. And she would be happy to schedule me for an appointment. So I should go through this whole thing again?? No apology, just rude & condescending. The purpose of the free duct cleaning service was to get a chance to show us how great they are and then we would want to use them for our HVAC needs. Let's see--offer me free services, schedule an appointment, don't show up for 3+ hours while I sit home and then tell me you never heard of me!? NO THANK YOU! There are plenty of other HVAC companies in the Tucson area. No idea if their work is any good--but if I can't get them here, then it doesn't matter how good the work would be. Their reliability is ZERO in my book.

The price was fine. I think they called me. I would use their service again.

They did a very good job. I had 5 estimates and they had the best price. It has been a week but everything seems to be working fine at this point.

Brandon identified the problem and was able to fix it within an hour. He was very professional.

They did a diagnostic, and fixed it; then had to come out again. They've been great about coming out and fixing any issues that come up. They're very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered our questions and offered suggestions. Their price was very reasonable too. We would recommend them to anyone.

They've done good work but I've been disappointed at the lack of followup when it was too late.

A technician from Perry?s did a routine furnace check on Dec 1 and had an offer to get 30% off other services if we bought their 2-yr contract for routine checks. We bought the contract because we needed the air ducts cleaned because there was a smell of burning dust whenever the furnace went on each morning and I was having trouble breathing from the bad air. The technician came back on Dec 8 and supposedly cleaned the ducts. However, for the past 2 weeks after the ?cleaning,? the burning dust smell has been worse and I have been miserable with watery eyes, runny nose, swollen face, and hard breathing every morning when the furnace goes on. When I complained to Perry?s initially, they sent someone else out who adjusted the furnace fan and temperature downward. Not only did the furnace adjustment NOT help my breathing, but it also caused another problem. In changing the temperature, the technician must have turned off the gas momentarily or something, because that evening we had no hot water. It turned out that our gas water heater was on, but the pilot was not lit, so it wouldn?t heat. Because the second tech?s ?solution? didn?t work, I called another duct cleaning company recommended on Angie?s List to find out if it was normal for the air to be worse after "cleaning" The other company told me that when each duct is being cleaned the other vents should be sealed off with cardboard or plastic so that the vacuum would be strong and pull out the loosened dust. The technician from Perry?s hadn?t sealed off the other vents when he cleaned one, so the cleaning was not really ?vacuum.? All it did was loosen the dust so that it blew around more AFTER than before the ?cleaning? whenever the furnace went on, rather than having strong suction remove the dust during cleaning. When I called Perry's to complain again and asked why the technician didn?t close off the other vents, they told me they don?t do that and that I should have asked before they did the service. How was I supposed to know to ask? Now I am stuck with a 2-yr contract with a company I distrust and must hire a better duct cleaner to do the job all over again, so that I can breathe.

It went excellent. The first technician took a look at the situation. He agreed that it could have been installed better by them originally and he would write up a work order for the crew to come and fix it. The crew came two days later and did a very thorough and clean job. They did a little extra to help it from happening again. They profess to have a happy customer policy and they lived up to that for sure after 21/2 years. I will call them for any other work I ever need.

Excellent. The person was pleasant, friendly. Knowledgeable and competent. It was a regular price. I would have preferred a special price a discount price.

These guys are AWSOME!!!! Perry installed two 18 ser air conditioning units in our house. The team showed up on time and worked until the job was completed. Both unites were installed in ONE day. I was impressed with their attention to detail and diligence in not marking up the walls/floors in the house. The sales person was very informed and able to talk us through all of the various options to ensure we got what we wanted, both in price and cooling power. Overall is was a pleasant experience and to day, not a single problem with the unites. No need to call them back at all.

first off the process to replace a cooling system is a multi-day process. the first apt was a quote, the person came out and was on time and answered all my questions then was able to provide a price on the spot. the 3 other companies did not show up on time, and were definitely less friendly. all 4 companies I spoke too were all within reason, comparable on pricing, but I think the history of Perry along with the people I had dealt with on the phone and at my house made me decide to go with them. I was able to schedule the install very quickly, within a week. the installers showed up ion time and were able to get rite to work, they seemed well trained knowledgeable and well prepared. the whole process went very smoothly. and at the end the installer went over my new thermostat to make sure that it was set up how I could use it and how I wanted it to work. I have been very pleased so far with the process.

Perry Heating and Cooling gave me the best price out of three different local companies. They arrived on time, were highly professional and performed an excellent installation. They left my property neat and clean when they were finished. Now that the cooling season has arrived, my AC system has been running better and more efficiently than it has it many years. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Perry Heating and Cooling gave me the best estimates out of six different companies. They're very well known in the community and they're very reputable. If there's any problems, they take care of it, no questions asked. They've been servicing my old unit for several years before this. In their commercials, they say, "Nothings runs like a Trane" and it's true. My old unit was hit by lightening one year and they came out and fixed it and said the unit was very old and past its life expectancy, so I got the estimates for replacement. The tech came out and said it was an amazing unit and probably ran far longer than anybody expected it would. He said the new units are just as good. Their work is good because they sell really good products and they stand behind them. They gave me a filter that they made themselves that had a five year warranty on it, that prevents you from having to change the filter every three months, which is what a regular filter does. I noticed something was a little loose from the framing a couple of years after they put it in and I brought it into them. He gave me a brand new one for free and he did it without any hassle whatsoever. They really put the customer first. They really do try to please the community. They are no-nonsense, they sell a good product and they have good workers. They're all well-trained and have actually been to Trane School, put on by the Trane company and they know the systems, inside and out.

We were very pleased with all aspects of their service.

They arrived on time and proceeded with the installations. They finished after about 7 hours, better than I expected. They were professional and did an excellent job on both installations. They cleaned up the areas in which they worked. It was a great experience.

I insisted that my mother call these folks out for a real professional check up for her AC unit. I insisted she call Perry Heating and Cooling out because I have had several people tell me happy they were with their service. I know a few people who flip hoses for a living and they always get a few bids for each job they need done in the house they are flipping. They always end up going with this company based on all around good honest trouble free service. In fact one of them has even quit getting bids from multiple HVAC vendors and just call Perry in to do the job. The reason I had to insist that she call them is because she had another company out 2 days before that she had a service contract with for the past 3 years. They would come twice a year to do the seasonal cleanings done. We had placed a call for service to the first and now EX company because the AC just was not blowing as cold as it usually does. The first company who are a true bunch of monkeys tried to sell my parents on a $6,500 new unit. They said the compressor was going out and about 10 or eleven other issues and so it would be better to just buy a new unit. Just to let you know, this and quot;old, no good, broken, may not even last a few more days and easier to replace than repairand quot; unit is only 8 years old and has been serviced twice a year since we got it.... 8 years ago. This unit is so clean you could almost eat off of it. I told my mother to think about it....all of a sudden the entire unit needs to be replaced....when these monkeys were supposed to be the ones taking care of it to help extend the life of the unit...where is the logic? When Perry came out I told my parents DO NOT tell this company that they are the and quot;2nd opinionand quot; company and just tell them the system is not as cold as we think it should be and see what he comes up with. The technician who came out (sorry, I forget his name) looked over the system, ran some tests that these guys do and came up with that it was just low on freon and the capacitor was failing which is why is was giving off bad reading to the first company. He charged up the system, replaced the capacitor and started us on a service contract for less than 10% of the so called cost the first ripoff company wanted to charge. If you are looking for honesty, reliable, knowledgeable, experienced, reputable company that performs for a reasonably fair price this is the only company you need to call.

Excellent! Fred added refrigerant and checked whole system in professional manner. He also gave us an estimate to replace system in the future without any hype. We decided to purchase a maintenance agreement to be sure our older system lasts as long as possible.

I would have to rate them straight "As" and I continue to have them do routine check-ups on it. They are straightforward and honest.
