Description of Work: Pioneer was very professional, gave very precise estimates, readily made adjustments to the estimate to accommodate our needs and promptly answered all questions either by phone or email. We are very pleased with the quality of the work performed.

 + -1 moreOver the course of five days, I had seven different professionals in to do the work. They were all terrific. The deck looks better than ever. Everyone I talked to said that the rust spot repair would be visible. It is, but only if you are looking for it. I did not expect such good results
Description of Work: My 15-year old pool needed to be drained, the Kool deck repaired and painted, the calcium stains on the tiles removed, and two rust spots repaired.

Description of Work: I have an above ground spa which is fifteen years old, and was having trouble heating. When I called Patio Pools they said that they could not get parts for something that old. I eventually connected with Ray at Desert Pool Repair, 520 241-8554. He and his wife run their own shop. He was very knowledgable about older spas, replaced a carroded switch at a reasonable fee. I was very pleased and strongly recommend him.

 + 0 moreTimely installation, quality work. Had an issue with the grout between the tile taking on a stain color from the seal installed. They immediately scheduled a crew to replace grout and seal at no cost to me. Because they were the original pool builder, I went with them to keep my pool all and quot;Patio Pooland quot; which is a selling point in the future.

Our situation was complicated by being an absentee client (we live in Oregon, the property is an investment property). All the folks at Patio Pools were excellent to deal with and flexible. All in all, a very nice experience.
Description of Work: Jim Larson at Patio Pools designed and Warren and crew excavated and installed a 10x40 foot in-ground pool with all the equipment with solar heating.

Description of Work: Their display at the home show emphasized a wide range of services. They're the biggest pool company in town. We requested an estimate. An appointment was scheduled. I took time off from work to semi accommodate designer's schedule. He sent us a card confirming the appointment and thanking us for considering doing business with them.

 + -1 moreIn the future, I will not go to Patio Pools, they do not have good customer service skills.
Description of Work: A design was drawn for a pool and spa in a new construction home. We gave Marshall Hill a check for $1,000 to start the construction of the pool. We then cancelled the construction of the home, and therefore cancelled the pool. Patio Pools and Spas did not perform any work. They did not dig the yard, nor start any construction work. I called Marshall Hill to get a refund of the $1,000. I left 4 voicemails and he did not return my calls. His secretary called me on 8/23/06 and said that they will keep the money because they had to get permits, even thou they did not start any physical work. I pointed out that permits do not cost $1,000 and I would like a partial refund at least. She insisted that they will keep the money, according to their contract. I think it is unethical for a company to keep a customer's money if they have not performed a job. I would at least like a partial refund, and a copy of the permit they have, since I will be paying for it anyway.

 + -1 moreTHE WORKERS WERE PUNCTUAL AND HAVE BEEN VERY NICE. THEY HAVE COME OUT BEFORE TO WORK ON OUR POOL AND THAT'S THE REASON WHY I HAD HIRED THEM AGAIN. THEY ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB.
