 + -1 morePaint Kings was a great experience. Customer service was great to work with from the start. Trea their estimator was timely and knowledgable. Once we decided to hire them, he worked with us on a start date and his crew showed up ready to go as scheduled. We did our entire interior and it turned out great. The crew was courteous, timely, professional and easy to be around. They were considerate of our animals and made sure the doors were closed so not a one of our cats escaped. We highly recommend them. The head painter on our job was Adam and he did a great job of keeping on schedule. Our house looks great, just like new again. Thank you Paint Kings

 + -1 moreHouse exterior hadn't been painted in 10yrs. Trea, Anthony, and Terry were outstanding from quote to final clean up. Two-tone cut-ins and wrought iron work was superior. Anthony and Terry went the extra mile each day in 100+F heat. Don't look anywhere else.

Description of Work: I needed some paint in a commercial property I own. After meeting the estimator I also asked him to go to my home to quote a project there. Both jobs were reasonably priced and the jobs were scheculed with in the next week.

 + -1 moreCalled Paint Kings to see if they would take a look at the house. They said it wasn't their problem and only gauranter the work for 2 years. I would never use them again! I also hate their commercials.
Description of Work: Purchased a new construction from Richmond American homes that used Paint Kings. They only guarantee their work for a year cause they know you will have to repaint in 3 years.

 + -1 moreKevin was very kind, quote process was quick, but company will not stand behind its agreement to make one minor repair or scheduling by adding the details to the quote. This aspect points to lack of ability to work within customer needs, and lack if flexibility and accountability.
Description of Work: Received and was prepared to contract with Paint Kings for the painting of 17 doors and 5 frames. Kevin came out to spec the quote. He was very friendly and especially sympathetic to the fact I was suffering a violent migraine that day. Received the quote next morning, very timely. When I responded to the quote with a minor change (to add one door frame and delete one door), asked to add repair that we had discussed (a 3-inch crack), and for a reasonable guarantee that the work would be completed on a timely basis, Kevin stated that management decided to decline the work. My unfortunate experience with 8 contractors this summer, NOT booked with Angie's list, was such that I wanted some kind of guarantee to complete work on a timely basis. My request was reasonable, to my belief. The work was quoted by Paint Kings to be done in one day, according, and I requested that a penalty be written into the contract for work not completed within an additional 7 days. I did not specify what the penalty should be, however, as I was waiting for Paint King''s input. While I cannot review the quality of work, I can review a lack of professionalism in their unwillingness to work with a customer to meet their contract needs and must comment on what seems to be a typical commitment issue. I won't move forward with a company that will not stand behind its scheduling.

 + 0 moreThey painted over the bird poop, there like four nest and I thought they would remove those and cleaned it up I know when I called them they said oh if you wanted us to power wash the house that would have been extra so I said well number one you could have ask me for it and I probably would just said yeah because I don't want you painting over dirt, so they made right by it afterwards.

Any questions we had along the way, all staff we encountered were fantastic. We even had to ask them to come back to do some of the trim differently, and they did.
