Description of Work: Provider at my house Sept & October 2012. Talked me into maintenance contract on 12 yr old unit (this was a second opinion, previous company advised new unit). Came out twice because first fix did not last but two weeks. Few weeks later, AC turned off for season. 4/9/13, provider came out for a "free" maintenance check. Advised I needed two capacitors, would sell them at discount because of contract, and charged $371 for the 2 parts. After installation, tech advised unit was "A-Okay & ready to go". I did not use AC for 3 weeks. When turned on, it did not work. I called first company & they installed a new unit and almost 1/2 the price quoted by Orangatan. The company who installed new unit give me the two unused capacitors. Upon doing a price check I discovered that the two parts cost about $45. I understand companies need to make a profit on parts, but a discount price of $371 is beyond stealing. Plus, one of their techs, Reggie, is the rudest most arrogant tech I have ever met.
