Description of Work: First billing was 32000.00, I got it down to 1/2 that they only replaced 80' of 4" sewer line. It took them from 12/26/15 to 3/7/16 to complete the job. As of 3/21/16 their trash is still laying behind the house.

Description of Work: I called in the morning with a blocked up toilet. They gave me a 2 hour estimate on when a service person would arrive. Got a call that it would be about an hour sooner - and he arrived right on time. He explained 3 different approaches to fixing the problem - the easiest to the most drastic and the price of each. Went with the easiest (and least expensive) and it worked. I had an old-fashioned plunger that did not cut it that morning. My service person showed me his super plunger and told me to go get one. I was very, very pleased with this company and my service person.

DO not hire them.
Description of Work: Checked toilet draining into shower tub. Said toilet need to be removed, new wax ring installed, snake used and the cost was twice for the other plumber we hired to do the job. The plumber we hired went on the roof, used a snake and it was fixed...at half the price!

It went well and we have no further problems. I decided to use Mr. Rooter again even after an awful experience. After posting on Angie's List I was contacted and they offered me a discount on future work and asked for a chance to make it right. This time they did just that.
Description of Work: New pipe installed after camera was put into drains to diagnose the problem. Hydro flush done to other pipes.

The guy was on time and completed the work in 20 minutes.
Description of Work: Water leak in the wall, did not have to search for it, quite obvious. The quote for fixing the pipe and making an 8'' square cut in the wall was $176. I thought the price was outrageous for a 20 minute job. I had a $25 coupon and when he came back from the truck with the bill he had taken off $25 and then I gave him the coupon. It took longer to get the bill than to fix the problem. I guess this is a stated amount to charge instead of by the job. Will not use them again, because of the outrageous price.

Our homeowners assn. got three bids on installation of pressure relief valves. Mr. Rooter had low bid of $900 each. They installed the first valve within a couple of days. It is four weeks later and I'm still waiting for the second one that I authorized by the same work order. They have only dug a hazardous hole in our alley. I called six times in 10 days before being told the valve would be installed that next day. Two days later the plumber called to say he failed to check the line diameter (as suggested in work order), so he purchased the wrong size valve, but he would return the next day. That was a week ago. I have twice called a dozen homeowners to notify them water will be turned off--then the work was not done. Also, the work order specified variable-pressure valves with an initial setting of 65 psi, but plumber called AFTER installation to say he could only obtain one valve model, and it supplies 50 PSI. I got two low-pressure complaints from homes on that street.
Description of Work: Plumbing appeared satisfactory but plumber left a hazardous hole. I beveled the hole's edges and covered the utility box with the stones that had been there originally. Mr. Rooter has performed several satisfactory jobs for us in the past, but they are NOT consistent about returning calls and showing up when they say they will. They have not realized that EVERYBODY sells plumbing---What people want to buy is SERVICE.

THE PRICE THIS COMPANY CHARGED WAS VERY REASONABLE BUT WE THOUGHT THEY COULD OF EXPLAINED THINGS A LITTLE BETTER. THEY SEEMED LIKE THEY WERE A VERY TRUST WORTHY COMPANY.
