Called the office number. Staff very knowledgeable about Vino Temp units. Ours is 13 years old and cooling unit was failing. Technician Edward Seright arrived as scheduled, removed cooling unit and diagnosed problem. He explained options of repair or replacement. I decided on replacement. He told me the best and cheapest way to get the new cooling unit would be direct from Vino Temp. I ordered the unit and upon arrival, Edward came back out to remove the old unit and installed the new unit. Service call was $79. He spent 2 hours and was extremely professional. The installation on a separate day after arrival of the new cooling unit was $170. The $ 79 service call was applied to the $170 installation charge so total cost to me was $170 for approximately four hours of labor spread over two visits. I was totally impressed with the whole operation from prompt scheduling of appointments, professional service from Edward Seright and the value of the service provided. I strongly recommend Mr. Applicance.

Everything about our service call was excellent. Deb, who answers the phone and schedules calls, is always friendly and very helpful. Our service technician, Edward, was awesome. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took extra time to explain everything to us and to provide us with better explanations for running our dishwasher in order to avoid future problems. Our Miele dishwasher, which was barely out of warranty, had quit working. Edward explained that it is imperative we use the Finish tabs, rather than Cascade, because the excess detergent had caused the problem. Miele needs only a tiny amount of detergent and absolutely not more, which is not explained in their manual or website. After he left, I noticed a small amount of water leaking under the dishwasher. Edward came right back out and replaced a gasket (or something) and included it in the original service. It was probably related to what he was doing the first time, but regardless, there was no hassle or argument about additional costs that I've gotten from other service companies. Edward also helped us solve an easy problem with our fridge filter as we chatted, and he even gave me tips on buying our new appliances. He worked carefully and didn't rush--takes pride in his work. He is full of information and happy to share! This is a locally-owned family business, and I am happy to recommend their work to anyone needing appliance repairs.
