Luis Rojo Masonry

Luis was very professional. I was very happy with his work. We called for an estimate and he came out right away. His estimate was the most reasonable by far. He started the project and his crew was very punctual. They finished in 3 days. We are planning more work in our yard and are planning on using them again.

Luis and crew did a nice job and quickly responded to any issues. I did not include a cost as each job will be different in the layout, amount of prep work needed, and so forth. Best thing to do is get an estimate from at least 3 contractors and compare, which is what I did ... plus look at any available reviews and or references.

I gave him the lights to be installed and a drawing indicating where the lights were to be installed. He did everything very crudely and wired things incorrectly. I’ve had a horrible time trying to get him to take care of the issues. Now the wall is starting to fracture and crack in places. I had to have an electrician come out to rewire the lights in the wall, but the electrician said he wasn’t sure how long it would last since it was done so poorly to begin with

Work was good and done fast with little hassle. He was able to match the block easily and understood my request well. He was also very flexible with a tough scheduling nightmare on my side. He adapted with no complaint or issue.

Luis and his crew came on time, worked until the job was done and charged a fair price. I would definitely use him again.

Called two contractors, one called back & performed the work while Mr. Rojo never called.

It took awhile for him to return to repair the pavers but he kept his word and did a fine job.

The wall was rebuilt start to finish in 2 days! The job was completed in the time promised and the site was left so clean that my wife commented that it didn't even seem like the crew was ever here. Luis and his staff were very good at what they do and I'd be very glad to hire them again. I would also certainly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to do a masonry job for them.

First, I want to say that I like Luis. He came out and gave us a bid on filling the conversation pit and replacing the existing flooring in the foyer, living room and dining room. His price was very fair and he was able to start right away. Luis has a lot of experience and is teaching his crew the trade. I was not very pleased the way the crew was careless cleaning up mortor that had dripped on the adobe wall of the courtyard wall and family room wall. They let it dry and is now going to be very difficult to clean up. His crew also started the tiling in the far wall of the dining room and worked their way through to the livingroom. This caused the tile in the foyer to not have borders that matched on both sides. Luis did come back and redo the borders. The stucco on the fireplace was left uneven. Luis came back with one of his men to even it out but it has still got rough edges. I truly believe that if Luis would have stayed on the job with his crew, we would have had a more professional outcome. His crew does not have the experience to be left alone on a job. Luis did say that he would come back and clean up the mortar that had spashed but I haven't heard back from him. At this point, I plan on trying to repair the splashed mortar myself with a wire brush and muratic acid. I would hire him again to do work outside the house. I would even hire him to do inside work if he would stay and supervise his crew through the entire job.

We would definitely work with Luis again. This is something we have wanted to complete for years and dreaded working with anyone on it; it really enhances our entrance to our home and curb appeal. Do look at the materials to decide the right color and shape for your house. Ask him what he suggests; often the professional knows better what are good choices.....then choose between those. We might have gone a different direction in shape and color but hewas right. I sent him a text message of the materials we chose so he could use it as a reference when ordering the block. It came in handy to be sure our choice was purchased. Very pleased with the whole project.

He did the work when he said he would and cleanup around the area was pretty good. I'd use him again.

Luis gave us the lowest of three estimates for repairing our block wall. His estimate was half that of the other two bids, but he was also the most professional of the three companies. His crew was on time and completed the work much more quickly than we expected. The quality of the repair is excellent. We will definitely hire Luis Rojo again if the need arises.

After no less than six phone calls and voice mail messages I still did not receive a call back. Apparently business is so good they do not have to spend their time returning phone calls to potential customers. I would recommend you give your business to someone else who appreciates your patronage.

Best price of several bids. Outstanding communication. SHows up when he says so. Works with great team, punctual, timely. Work was finished exactly as quoted, on time, great workmanship, came back the second day to clean up job site and make sure we were satisfied with result before final payment. Would highly recommend.

Luis' bid was the lowest of the three that we got. It was about half the price of the most expensive bid and a little lower than the middle bid. The middle bidder seemed to have more experience, but we decided to go with Luis. We asked for a specific start date a few weeks in the future, and Luis was happy to accommodate us. He and his crew showed up on Monday morning as promised and were done by the end of the third day -- just as promised. They were very professional. We have two other masonry projects in mind over the next few years and will definitely ask Luis Rojo Masonry for a bid.

His initial estimate was higher, but I am getting some other estimates. He has not yet provided a written estimate.

I asked about a footing, and sure enough a very deep footing was put under this wall. Also, it matches perfectly a wall on the opposite side of my property which was installed at least 20 years ago. I anticipate having to remove part of my patio wall in the future, and I will ask this company first!

From the bidding process to the final clean up --- Luis and his crew were professional, timely and skilled. I was ecstatic with the final product, happy with his punctuality, impressed with his communication skills and the management of his team.

I feel the job went very well. Luis and his assistant were very professional in the information, suggestions and work they did. Actually due to my husbands miscalculations I had to have Luis come back and pour another 4 feet so the swamp cooler wouldn't hang off the concrete slab. Luis was very nice and came back in a timely manner and did the additional work. I will definitely use his service again when we are ready to redo the pool deck.
