Excellent as planned without any disruptions.

I called and set an appointment for someone to come and meet me for an estimate. He never showed up. Did not return calls or texts after that. Rude and unprofessional.

The project was completed very professionally and on budget. Luis was a good listener and flexible with the wall design I envisioned. He offered input based on his extensive experience, but never pushed his ideas. He even allowed me, during certain stages of the project, to change my mind on specific details of the wall. Luis provided timely and clear communication throughout the project regarding the work schedule and weather restraints. Luis took great pride in the work of his team, stating more than once that he wants to build the best wall in the neighborhood.

Luis and his entire crew were professional, talented, kind and fast! They worked with us to get the perfect, custom result we wanted! Can’t wait to use them again.

Luis said he would come by to give an estimate, but never showed up.

Luis came to check out what needed to be done. He came back and dig up under the wall to see how deep it is and if it can support the wall raise. He then drew up the proposal and helped submitted to the city for permit. Once our HOA approved this, he came with his team and finished the job in 3 days. This included drilling through the current wall to place rebars every few feet and pour in concrete to give adequate support to the wall.

Luis gave me a reasonable quote, far better than one I received from another company. We settled on a day, but later I asked to have that moved forward. He was very accommodating, and flexible. He brought a 32 foot ladder to get up to the parapets, and he and another worker patched 16 cracks, painted over them, and painted the whole top part of the parapets around the entire roof. A few days later, it rained. Was I ever glad we moved the repair up!

Luis and his crew did a great job. I should have done this years ago when we bought our house in 2008. Our house was built in 1965. The brick grout around the pool trim was old and in very poor condition. It looks great now! I called Luis on a Tuesday and he was out on Friday to do the work. Very nice guy too. He finished the work in one day. Photos included were taken right after the work was done.

Company was on time and professional. However the tile cleaning was not much more than soap and water. They refused to replace some missing grout. A crack was repaired with some putty but that has already come out.

Luis' crew was efficient and experienced. Very satisfied with the final product.

It was on a slope, after them building the dirt up and putting the wall up its straight out and very pretty.

This was the third project we had Luis and his team address for us. Each time, he has been prompt, thorough, quality workmanship and has a very detailed approach to making sure that customers are completely happy.

Our house is 8" adobe and most of the interior brick was just painted over in white. It looked awful. I wanted to smooth it out for a cleaner, more aesthetic look. Luis and his crew rolled out glue over the paint, hammered chicken wire over the brick, and then put on two coats of stucco over the wire. It was quite a bit of work on their part, and took 5 days. The walls are smooth and solid. I had Peterson Drywall coat the stucco with "Fresco Harmony" and the look is just amazing, and unbelievably better than the old painted brick. Luis and his crew did a great job and worked hard for five solid days. Luis was on site every day, not just supervising but actually doing a fair amount of the work himself. He is a likable, hard working guy, with a pleasant and professional crew. Very pleased with the job. I'll be using these guys again for future projects. I found Luis because of his excellent reviews on Angie's List, and I am now happy to recommend him here myself.

He took a look at the work to be done. He said he's get back to me the next day with an estimate. I haven't heard from him since, so he gets an "F" grade.

Mr. Rojo's crew showed up on time, completed the work (including sealing all the new caps) and cleaned up everything so you'd never know work had been done. Then Mr. Rojo figured out a way to avoid purchasing a new gate to the utility patio (the old gate had just had three bolts that fell out of the old holes in the brick). He got a local welder to make brackets that allowed us to reuse the original ornamental gate. A comparable new gate would cost $400 at least and the repair was done for $120. I'd guess the gate as it is now reinstalled will last longer than the house. lHighly recommended - whenever we need masonry work in the future we'll be calling Luis Rojo. And incidentally the welder/gate installer Julio was great and if you need anything like metal gate/fence work done Mr. Rojo can probably get him to help.

Luis was able to remove a wall that had been illegally built (my fault). When I called the original mason he quoted this huge amount that did not include removing the old wall foundation. Luis was able to price separately and included the clean up of the removed vegetation that the original mason had left behind. I didn't see it but my HOA certainly did and it was unprofessional of the original mason. Luis even went above and beyond when he was able to find someone to custom build a beautiful gate. Honesty and professionalism comes to mind. He is not the cheapest but if I would have used him first it possibly would not have had to been done twice. My own stupidity not withstanding.

It is with great pleasure that I review Luis Rojo Masonry. Luis and his team are very professional, hardworking, clean, and do beautiful work. It is obvious that they take pride in their craft. I appreciated having the owner, Luis Rojo, on the site every day. They repaired a block wall, added a foot to the perimeter of my existing wall, built an outdoor fireplace, tore out and cemented my rip rap, and cleaned up some landscape issues. They cleaned up their tools, work area, and organized their materials daily. They respected my home and my neighborhood. Luis was very easy to talk to, he listened to my ideas, and answered my questions with patience. Luis and his team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Luis Rojo Masonry.

I chose Mr. Rojo because he was very professional, listened well, made recommendations, was prompt with his estimate and gave me a reasonable price. His first two projects were so well done, that I asked him to do a third, leveling a hill and laying slabs. Everyone worked so well (he also worked with them) that they finished in 3 days and in this June heat. I would definitely ask him again for other masonry projects.

My garage had been hit by a car on the side and it knocked several bricks out of place. Luis Rojo Masonry re-aligned all the brickwork, found bricks almost identical to the original (my house was build in 1963, I thought it would be impossible to find brick to match), re-aligned/re-set the garage door opener track, and re-plastered everything. For the damage done, they did a great job putting everything back in place and had the best price out of everyone that offered a quote. They were also very quick: I called on a Wednesday, the job was done Friday. It would have been done the next day if not for rain. Overall, I'm happy with the work they did, the price, and the service. I would definitely use them again.

We didn't go with them because their quote was high. One thing that stood was the guy that came out to do the quote walks through the entire job with me. He talked about exactly what they would do.
