This is the third time we have used Lee Hoffman to coat the roof and, once again, they did an excellent job. I cannot speak to how well they might clean a roof in preparation for coating because we always do the cleaning (thorough wet brush and flush all over, TSP at scuppers and standing water areas). All they had to do was step on the roof and start applying material. We made it as easy as it gets for them. That's the only reason we scored their price as "good" rather than "excellent" as we're not sure they gave us a price break equal to the superb prep work we did. In any case, they are super easy to work with and are an overall excellent outfit. Highly recommended.

The project went well Lee Hoffman Roofing was very responsive to my needs and timing. I contacted several other roofers for estimates and Lee Hoffman was the only ones to quote what I was looking for at a reasonable price. They performed quality work in a timely matter. They removed and replaced all the wood and put down the first layer of roofing in the first day of work. They had it finished up with the final layer of coating the following week to all for curing of the asphalt roofing. They were very easy to work with for changes that needed to be changed at the last minute. I would recommend these roofers to anyone. They are professional in every aspect and get the job done on time and quoted price.

I initially met with Oscar to discuss reroofing my residence due to numerous leaks incurred over the last several years. Over this time, I had two skylights removed at a low part of the roof near a scupper drain. Numerous attempts were made to fix the problem with the skylights intact, but they continued to reoccur. I had contacted five roofing companies for estimates and Oscar was indeed the most thorough and knowledgeable. He spent a good deal of time practically redesigning my flat roof to incorporate crickets (high areas) in order to rapidly shed water and not create ponding after a rain. The plans also included reinstalling new skylights where the original ones had been removed. His reengineering of the roof was quite impressive in that he drew a detailed diagram in order for the actual project to be completed properly. A crew of six men arrived on the scheduled day promptly removing the old roofing material and redesigning various pitch in the problem areas. I was very impressed at the way the roofers (master carpenters) were able to build solid structures conforming to Oscar's original plans. They even built wooden curbs ten inches above the roof surface in insure the new skylights would clearly be out of the way of further water incursion. Once the basic structure was developed, the hot tar and fiberglass covering was applied. During this phase of the project, Oscar incorporated some upgrades such as roof vents at no additional cost. At this point, seeing how well things were progressing, I asked if they could retile the patio which was promptly started. And again, they were able to redesign the drip edge in a manner that was not only functional, but more visually pleasing. Everything was completed to a more than satisfactory level, including attention to detail and cleaning the entire job site both during and the end of construction. I was not able to stay and see the final stage of applying two coats of white cool coat that where to be completed the following week once the roof had cured. I was assured that the roof would be washed off with water and a first and second coat of the cool coat would be applied on consecutive days. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking quality work and craftsmanship.

Estimate was very professional and thorough. Crew of 10 were very good. did a very professional job. I am a general contractor from CA - just bought a home here in Tuscon. I will definitely use them again.

I have referred them to a neighbor and she is having them do her roof soon.

The staff was very pleasant and efficient within 5 days of initial call a roofer came out to work up a quote after our acceptance the work was scheduled and completed within a week.

It took them 2-3 days and they did the work really fast. At the same time I was getting solar panels installed and they were able to work with that company during the process. Scheduling was really good and they were able to come to my home to perform the work.

Scott was very responsive, providing a timely estimate for each job and answering questions. John managed both projects very efficiently & professionally. The workers were efficient, friendly, and respectable.

I can understand being booked up. After all, it was right after we had some very large rain storms in Tucson, and I'm sure they were very busy. However, you'd think that the contractor would take your number and call you back as soon as they have some time in their schedule. Because of that experience, I'm unsure if I would consider them in the future. I revived this project this morning and contacted Coating Specialists, also highly rated on Angie's List, to give me an estimate.

Lee Hoffman roofers showed up on the date scheduled, and completed the job quickly. They hauled away all their debris as stated. They workmanship was excellent and professional. They notified the tenats and worked with them to ensure that there were no misundertandings or problems. They replaced several sheets of plywood and several fascia boards to ensure a solid surface. Their office staff was polite, professional and prompt when dealing with getting quote, and following through with questions we had about the process. Their bid was the middle of the 3 bids received to do the job. The initial estimate was for 5654.00 They replaced 11 sheeet of plywood, and 28 2 x 8 Facia boards due to rotting or damaged. This was discussed during the initial quoting process and was similar to the the estimates for amount of wood to replace from the other 2 companies we had bid the job. Overall this was a quality job done professinally and quickly. Highly recommend their services for roof repairs\replacements. Would hire them again.

The provider was to busy to even schedule an estimate and they are not taking new customers today.. Told me they were too busy because of the storm (it rained a week ago) and to call back next week. They "might" take new customers then. They must be doing something right to turn away business on a potential new roof install. But i won't be wasting any more of my time calling this company next week. They could have offered to schedule the estimate for a few weeks ahead when they'd be less busy.

They were very helpful with my special requirements. I installed a new evap cooler at the same time as doing the roof. They coordinated with me to rerun the water and electrical under the sheathing. They started the job 2 days after the contract was signed and completed the job on time. Thank god the weather was perfect. I highly recommend this company for roofing.

John Soelle estimated with polite honesty. Returned estimate promptly, scheduled & performed job as promised. Job done neatly, cleaned up, left w/little interference.

Very well - John provided us with an estimate in a timely manner and did likewise responding to questions regarding this - Pedro and his crew did an excellent job with all aspects of the removal of our old roof and the installation of the new one. The crew were all hard working and courteous and were especially careful with the clean up work upon completion - a priority for us since we have a bad experiences with contractors in the past with this. We sought bids from 7 different companies, received these from 5 and Lee Hoffman was the most competitive of these. I would highly recommend seeking bids from them for any roofing project.

I started to get estimates in January and I got 6 Est . before coming to Angie list . Found out most my word of mouth referrals had bad marks.These guys are great, came on same day as i called for Est .at the end of July . In Tucson August is the worst time to have a roof done but I had some small leaks happening and i did not want any more damage. So between rain storms these guy replaced 30% of the wood and re roofed 100% of the structure in one day ! This was not a small job , but they had a large crew with experienced personnel to get job done. After that they came back for two layers of elastocoating . They are the only roofer when I hear someone talking about roofs in the Tucson.

Oscar the supervisor was punctual and answered all my questions. Following the estimate, he was crew did an excellent work immediately. The crew did an excellent job anf cleaned up all the debris from project.

I called Hoffman Roofing for an estimate on wind damage to my roof. They responded to my request quickly, getting someone out to do the estimate in a couple days, even though it was busy season, and even went the extra mile to take pictures of the roof to provide to my insurance company. The estimator took the time to explain exactly what had happened to my roof and why, and answered my questions about preventative measures against recurrence of the same problem and was very honest about the pros and cons. I received the estimate and pictures promptly, and it was very reasonable and honest, with no attempts to hike up the price with extra services I did not need. When I called to ask them to go ahead with the repairs, the office staff was very polite and helpful, and helped me get the signed contract back to them quickly by email. They were able to get the materials for my roof in very quickly, and called me in just a couple of days to schedule the repairs the next day. The workers arrived early in the morning, and got right to work, completing the work quickly and professionally. My roof looks like new, and I've experienced no further problems. I received an invoice a few days later that was for exactly what I was quoted. Everyone I dealt with from the estimator to the office staff to the roofers were very polite, pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate for a moment to use Lee Hoffman Roofing again, or to recommend them to others.

They were very professional. We wanted our roof recoated. They were unwilling to do this as they believed the roof needed extensive repair. We did not choose to have the work done.

It rained quite a bit when they were trying to do the work but they did a great job. My son used to be in roofing said that this was one of the best jobs he had ever seen.They also came in several thousand dollars lower than the other bids I got. I was very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Lowest estimate out of five received with Angies list discount. All work finished when promised. Very responsive to all questions. Removed and replaced facia that warped after installation.

Great no further problem. Just came inspected roof on 08/05/13. No work was needed for another year-2 years.
