La Hacienda Woodworking Co

This was part of the City of Tucson Community Services Lead Abatement project (funded by HUD) in my home. Hacienda Woodworkers were subcontracted by Bold Development (reviewed separately) who, in turn, won the City of Tucson bid for the entire job. Poor professionalism: The owner said something along the lines of "cabinets like MINE don't belong in these houses" (in other words, insulting my house!) Queries about cost of adding a tilt out under my sink were never responded to. I don't have the tilt out. Since my home is a duplex, I had two identi cal jobs done - one by Hacienda, and one by another company (New Guild Workshop - also know as Alamo Woodworking Collective - review separately). The Hacienda cabinets are very nice, no question, but don't have quite the attention to detail that the other set of cabinets - not as much care was taken in fitting them into my old (1916) kitchen, the hardware was not as nice, the wood quality not as nice.) All that being said, they are very nice cabinets. Price is approximate, as it was included in the entire lead abatement bill, which was funded by HUD.
